So please don't kill me but it's 830 and both kids are still sleeping. Elle has been STTN but usually wakes up at 6-7 to eat.
The Owlet turned itself off on the MOTN so I had a few minutes of panic that something happened to her but nope, she's still sleeping with a good HR.
I'm hiding in my bedroom for fear of waking the toddler when I go downstairs.
This is the second time the Owlet turned itself off so I think I'm going to return it.

Not much for sleep here last night. DH took the sick one for the night, but DD2 and DS2 were both up a lot and DD2 got up for the day at 5:30 a.m. 😩😣 I'm so tired. Wish I could have gotten at least another hour or two of sleep before having to get up for the day.
On the plus side, 2 weeks ago today I started my diet and BBM 5.0 and have lost a total of 7lbs and have gone down 2 dress sizes. So, that's good.

Thank you! I have one from DD1 that was supposed to be for tiny kids and it didn’t fit her until she was one 😂 big fail. I am glad you asked this question. I have been so frustrated by the hats we have. They never stay on L's head and his head circumference is in the 99th percentile.

I am back at work. I didn't cry, but got teary eyed on the way to daycare and then to work. I successfully got both the boys and myself ready and out the door by 7:00 a.m. I got to work a couple minutes early. L slept from about 8-4 and then had his bottle he didn't really fall back to sleep after his bottle, he always is restless after his MOTN feeding. I hope he is not too fussy. He fell asleep in the car on the way to daycare, but when I put him the crib at daycare he woke up. Leaf 🌱 L is 12 weeks old and we still don't have a schedule. I am terrible at the schedule and routine thing.

Sigh, baby doesn’t like the moby unless she’s already sleeping and I stuff her in.
Debating on an infant insert for my ergo 360 or trying a ring sling next. I need to wear this kid.

I live in a small city and there are no used double strollers available right now. A thought I wouldn't need one but I do. I ordered a Phil & Ted's and didn't like it so sent it back. Now I'm waiting on a mountain buggy diet and hoping it's a keeper. We have a mountain buggy that we are really happy with. We don't have the double because DS1 loves walking but we do have the scooter if we need it. We live in an area with lots of dirt paths and other is still really smooth and easy to maneuver. The only downside is that you can only have one cup holder and have to buy it separately.

cornpop I’d call and raise hell. They are too $$$$$$ to be malfunctioning like that. ArielMermaid the infant inserts are so hot. Have you tried the rolled up blanket trick? We always did that with DD1 and it was comfy for both of us. We are officially out of newborn clothing. I need to gather it all up and list it on the BST. I also need to make room for the massive order carters I placed through JCP 😬 I really shouldn’t be spending money since I’m not bringing much in but 22 items (several are the four piece PJ sets for DD1!) for $120 was a great deal.

I forgot about the blanket thing Leaf 🌱. I did it with DD1 but she was a little older/bigger. I’m going to give it a shot.

Who has the Fawn diaper bag? I'm torn between the original and mini. I mainly want it to wear as a backpack. The original looks really big to me and I'm afraid it'll be cumbersome. The mini is very small, I have one for my 3yo DD. I’m not sure it would be enough room for 2 little. I can take a comparison picture if you think that would help you decide?

I know the double stroller talk is so yesterday but I have to celebrate that I got a double stroller nap for the first time yesterday! It was the most peaceful shopping experience (with 2 kids) ever🙌🏻

Just heard back from Ryan's pedi about his CBC from last week. His bloodwork (specifically his ANC levels) show Neutropenia, just like DD2. 😦 This definitely explains why we can't get rid of the thrush.

I’ve been trying to keep up and haven’t been able to. We had a shit weekend. I started feeling sick Saturday evening and felt terrible Sunday. Just mainly a head cold and started feeling better by Sunday evening. Well now DS1 is sick and he’s woken up the past TWO nights covered in vomit. All over him and his bed. So we’ve had to strip him down at midnight and give him a bath both times. And then he doesn’t want to go back to sleep because he is scared it will happen again. It’s...not been fun.
I’m just hoping the baby is spared. I don’t know how I’ll deal. Oh. And we are supposed to be leaving tomorrow for a two week vacation. I really have no idea what to do if DS1 is still sick.

I hope all the sick kiddos feel better soon and don’t spread their germs. Not a lot going on here today. I’m trying to get some laundry done and figure out a grocery list for the week.

I’m 5’2 (although not really petite in any other area😋) and I wear it with the straps shorter. My husband wears it with them at their max length (he’s 6’2).

Unfortunately, no. We went through 2+ years of testing with DD2. Numerous trips to see various specialists. We ended up not doing genetic testing, but with 2 kids having it now we know it's more than likely genetic. The good is that he's thriving and growing (which was a struggle for DD2). Also, we know what to expect this time around and we already decided to not put him through the many rounds of testing DD2 had to endure. So, definitely not as scary this time around either. We just have continue to be very careful about germs and what/who our kids are around.

mattsgirl2004, it is a bit reassuring given your previous experience with DD2. Will the condition improve or resolve with age? Or like asthma, they grow up with it? Sorry for nosy questions. I've heard about neutropenia if one is given chemotherapy for cancer, just not in childhood.

I had my IUD inserted this morning! I was nervous because the one I had before hurt a bit going in, but it was totally painless.

This is all the rage among the moms at the breastfeeding support group I go to. I have one on my shopping list but haven’t yet pulled the trigger. What is the general consensus of the support group? Thumbs up. Apparently it’s an easy way to get about 1 oz or so passively just from your let down on one breast while you are feeding from the other.

I called to check on L at daycare around 11:00 and they told me that he had been napping for about 1.5 hours in his crib there. He never naps in his crib for that long at home. I guess the early morning wake up really exhausted him.
