Remember when I couldn't feed my baby in bed because he always projectile vomits in my bed? Good times. 😵 I don't understand. Does my milk flow faster when I'm laying down?? It seems like it cause I'll be dozing and he's gulping like he's drowning then settle down to nurse normally, then come off and look very contented then suddenly there is so much puke spewing everywhere. Oh I also try to burp him in the middle of the gulping. This kid doesn't always burp though.

Can someone explain to me how I am suppose to take dd3 to see a specialist about her knee today and NOT fall asleep? Ds screamed his head off until after 1am and then woke up at 3 to nurse. It’s now 6am and I’m up for the day because rush hour traffic and two drop offs means we need to leave early. Fml. I’m hoping they can at least explain what’s wrong with dd3.

calendula have you tried taking lecithin? It's supposed to prevent clots. I took it while trying to get my milk to dry up and I think it helped.

Oh cool! I grew up 5ish hours south of Banff and only drove through a couple times. I really want to take DH to B.C. to show him where I grew up and then go to the parks also! Sometime in the next 3 years I hope!

That’s a beautiful view whatsit. We have plans to go home in July, and I’m a little worried about how long it’s going to take us to get there. It normally takes 16 hours... but that’s without stopping every 3 hours to feed a baby. dizzycooks Sorry you didn’t get a lot of sleep last night. I hope that your daughter is ok.

Good luck with the appointment dizzycooks. alwayscheese Our spit ups in the MOTN are more common these last couple of weeks with the onset of mild reflux. My sheets are starting to load up the laundry. I can't always get baby to burp either and the result is often spitting up. Seems self induced.

I feel like I need to unload some stuff...
Have any of you heard about the daycare center in Virginia where a male teacher was molesting 5yo little girls? The center apparently was covering up/sweeping things under the rug on several complaints including some about this guy. Finally, after a parent called in and etc they did something about it. Anyway - he’s prob molested a dozen ya girls, 5 for sure.
My three yo goes there - her teacher is a high school friend and luckily she was never around this guy. We were going to keep her there bc we knew Ms K was taking good care of her - but we still felt somewhat uneasy. The center (this location) is closing 6/15 now - likely bc the state is making them, so we had to find new daycare. It was super stressful end of last week but we feel good about where the girls will go.
The 3yo will now be home this summer.... starting next week. This wasn’t the plan and it’s also stressful bc she’s been such a handful.
As a gift tho, baby has been pretty much STTN. 10pm to 5am last night. Im worried it’ll kill my supply - double edged sword.

Oh geez yianna. What a terrifying situation to be in. I hope you can get in to a good routine this summer with the 3 year old and babe. My 3 year old has been a real treat but has gotten so much easier since the warm weather arrived. I'm thinking I'm going to set up a weekly schedule so we have something planned everyday and he knows what to expect. I wouldn't worry about your supply though! It will regulate and you can enjoy your sleep.

I’m so sorry you had to deal with that yianna. What a terrible terrible situation. I’m glad you’ve found a new place for your girls though. Hopefully they will adjust well to the change. Same to you and your 3yo!

Speaking of supply worries... I’m also worried about STTN for supply issues. L hasn’t yet, but only bc I haven’t let him try. 😬😬 He has been going to sleep around 9-10, and I’m still getting him up to feed at 3 and 6. Now that I’m back to work, I’m guessing bedtime will be changing since I’m waking him up earlier. I have to get up at like 5:15 and I plan to nurse at 6:20 before leaving for work, so 3 am feeds won’t seem too bad. Id still like to nurse once in the night and I’d rather do it around 3 than have him wake on his own at 4 or after and then me not be able to fall back asleep before having to get up for the day. Am I crazy for still waking my 3 month old (who is gaining weight well) to nurse? Idk, just trying to figure out a good schedule, but I’m sure I’ll just need to wait and see how starting daycare will affect his schedule/sleep.

Am I crazy for still waking my 3 month old (who is gaining weight well) to nurse? Yes. Lol. Get the rest! You're a working mama, you need it. You have a well established supply by now, I think you should trust that he will get what he needs when he needs it. You can add in a pumping session after he nurses in the morning if you're worried about having enough if he needs to make up the feeding during the daytime.

I have my 6 week PP appointment today (even though I'm actually 7 weeks PP). I'm probably going to cry a little. My OB asked that I bring my kids so she can get a pic with them. She delivered all 3 of my younger ones and has been there for me through much of our losses and fertility struggles. She's more like a friend than my doc. I feel like I owe her so much and am having a lot if feelings about closing this chapter of our lives.

clementine I would not wake the baby. I would maybe wake up and pump if my supply wasn’t enough, but only if I had to.

whatsit that is gorgeous a place mattsgirl2004 I feel the same way about my OB. I will still see her for other things, but I am a sad I don’t get to go through another pregnancy with her. I am glad she got to deliver DS2 because it was something positive after 4 losses. @yianns that is terrible. I am glad you found a new daycare. Hopefully your 3 yo will take it easy on you this summer. My 4 yo is home with me most of the summer, being outside and going on adventures help.

clementine I am glad you things went better with work and daycare for you. I go back on Tuesday, but only for 2 weeks and then it is summer break. My biggest concern is getting both boys and myself ready and out the door in a timely manner so I can get to work on time. Yesterday DS1 had his end of year preschool program. All the students got individualized certificates. His was for Loves to Learn. His teacher made all the kids a picture book with photos from the year. I love his teacher and am glad he gets another year of preschool with her.

Thanks ladies...
The last day of school is June 8, so my boys will be home with me too.
The good news is DH is home for 8w starting 6/17, and I go back 7/16... so we doubled up some too.
Next week and the following week with be rough... but I think I’ll make a schedule of stuff for us to do.
Baby girl is super sleepy today - not nursing as long but maybe she’s just more efficient now?
