So my parents came down today and we took j to the park which was fun. The kona ice man was there and my dad bought me one so that was awesome.
After almost 9 months j cradle cap is finally gone!!!! Woohoo!
I hope he is feeling ok. He pooped 5 times today. Not much each time but 5 times. He never poops more than once a day. He also spit up after a bottle and threw up some of his dinner....

Man I just can't keep up with time right now. See 9mo photos appear on IG and am like wut???
I have said it before but as much as I want toI just haven't been keeping in the loop with you all. And i hate it! We spent so much time together during our pgs and first months and I just have been missing out on so much fun developments and what not. PPD is still kicking me down and it all is just a struggle still. I do read most these days but then plan on responding when i have a free moment which in turn never happens..
Anyway I really want to be a proper part of A17 again - even discussed this with mh - asI think it will help me feel better.. so... hi.

Yes exactly when I manage to read up as well 😊 I miss it though - I am still full of insecurities and questions every time D. enters a new stage or goes thru phases and it always was so nice to reach out and realize tis all ohso normal etc.

Back to work today boooo! SSDD over here- N is being so clingy to me lately, I half love it half wish he would cling to his dad who gets so down when N runs away from him when he sees me. Last night dh said he’s take the wake ups bc he’s off today but N would not calm down for him. I had to get up twice to calm him down, kid was awake and going apeshit from 1-2 ☹️ So my one night of rest was a fucking joke.
Working 12h today and tomorrow and then my parents come on Wednesday for a week! They haven’t seen N since Xmas! They’ve FaceTimed a lot but no actual in person visits so I’m so excited for them to see him. It’s gonna be wild.

muscari, you are a proper part of A17! I hope things get better for you. addymac I'm in a similar place with breastfeeding. He stopped nursing a month or so ago, and I kept pumping, but my supply died. Now I get 1 oz from 20 minutes of double pumping and (TMI) one of my nipples is horribly split and resplits every time I pump. This will probably be my last week of it, but it's so many emotions! I let baby H try a whole strawberry I was holding thinking he would mouth it a little. He demolished it with his two teeth, lol, and then another one and then another one. It was pretty funny. He was mad I wouldn't let him hold it, but the kid was trying to shove the whole thing in at once. Baby H imitates coughing. It's so cute!

Hi ladies! I’m checking in from vacation. I hope y’all been well. muscari, please join in whenever, there should be absolutely no stress, guilt, or any negative feelings about when or how much you post here. I think we all try when we can, but it can be difficult these days. Especially when these little ones are being to be so mobile! At least, that’s what’s happening with me. lol A gets into everything.

Vacation has been good so far, A did very well while traveling on the plane and to the house we are staying in. I forgot what real humidity feels like! Our friends 2yo we are traveling with has croup though, and they ended up at the ER the night before we were flying out. 😬 But the doctors said it was fine to travel, and I’ve been keeping A away from him as much as I can. We thought he was good, but spiked another fever last night. 😣
A loved the beach, the sand, and the ocean! He wanted to eat most of the sand. It was so cool to see his reactions to it all!

Is anyone else's baby trying to walk all the time? I am so happy I have a full time sitter now because the kid is into everything. I just need a break!

I'm so happy I got this huge playpen that I can contain her in while I got stuff to do. She usually quite enjoys herself in there with her toys too luckily - or by standing on a side watching mommy or the cats heh. When she's on the loose it is impossible to do anything cause she'll be crawling all over the place and pulling herself up to a stand on every single occasion she gets, then tries to take steps.. and freak mommy out!

R just started crawling this weekend. I feel she was happier before she could crawl. Now, she bumps her head a lot and seems annoyed she can’t do more things she wants. She’s trying to stand, but hasn’t mastered it yet. She cut the side of her nose yesterday on a book/TV stand. She stresses me out when she’s on the loose.

Yes having a mobile baby now is much more difficult. She is standing but not steadily, she is getting better. She is now trying to let go and that doesn’t go too well lol. Hard to believe some are walking or will be so soon! How are they almost a year old?!

Turns out he has an ear infection as well. ☹️ But he’s being a trooper!

I can’t believe they are so close to a year old already, the baby phase is so short lived. No wonder some feel the itch to have another so soon!

When do babies learn cause and effect ?? (Kidding. Some adults never learn this ) Ok how about when will she learn I’m never ever ever going to let her eat an acorn ? Hahaha this made me laugh. L is bound and determined to eat everything that is not food- dog hair, wood chips, leaves, grass, paper, etc. I spend half the day pulling random objects out of her mouth.

I feel like im drowning at home and work right now. Ive got 3.weeks until the end of the year and I can't wait because I feel like every night after I put j down I'm rushin to do things but then I crash between 9 and 930. I need a break.
Today the principal, guidance counselor,.secretary, other special ed teacher, and one aid were out so it was basically me and one aid dealing with all the behaviors in the school. I'm just exhausted.

@easilyunamused oh man I hope A doesn’t get sick from your friend and I hope their LO is doing better. I hope you’re still enjoying the trip? thinkchocolate05 oh man. YES. my nipples just freakin hurt and are I think are starting to break bc of all the damn pumping. I’m so tired of it but dh is being overly supportive bc I’m so sad about the self wean that I’m feeling a bit of pressure to keep it up for the summer. Part of it is self inflicted and part is working mom guilt- if I didn’t work as much I bet he’d still be BFing etc. and part of it is dh is like YOU CAN DO THIS!! And he’ll sit next to me and stay up late while I pump and make me the Mother’s milk tea and remind me to take the fenugreek pills to boost production. And I appreciate it but I also want to throw them at his head. N’s sleep is TERRIBLE. well he did okay Tuesday night- one wake up I think. But my parents are here and so he’s back in our closet in the pnp and last night was the worst night we’ve had in a LOOOOONG time. I also think he’s teething cuz his front gums are crazy swollen but i was so tired I didn’t think bout it last night and didn’t given Tylenol and now I’m like 🤦🏻♀️ But I also don’t want to medicate unnecessarily. Like what if he’s just being a bad sleeper and it has nothing to do with teeth and I’m drugging him over like all nonchalant? 🤷🏻♀️

+everyone to mobile babies being exhausting. We don’t have any cages or gates and I really think we need one to prevent him from going into the kitchen area when we are cooking bc he tries to go near the oven and it’s a mad dash to scoop him away from it when it’s on. Dh thinks it’s no big deal and we should just put him in his chair or jumperoo while we cook but if he’s having fun crawling around I don’t want to force him to be sedentary. 🤷🏻♀️
