itsmemeg I let W get overtired yesterday cause we were out at DD’s swimming lesson and doing jobs. Guess who was awake *all night* grizzling except for a sleep from 2am to 4am? God that was a long night.

God that was a long night. Meanwhile, L took great naps yesterday and was awake all night unless I was holding her. It's because H & I talked about how much easier she is than O was. Last night's sleep was pretty much exactly how O was for 4+ months.

I'm in same boat. E slept a lot of the day and then had a nice 2-4 am stretch of awake last night. He wasn't fussy but having little eyes stare at you doesn't help to get sleep. Today we are being lazy and maybe going to a street fair.

Now that H is almost to full term gestational age wise, she's definitely starting to be awake more. Which also means it's harder to get her to nap. Yesterday, she just wanted to be held all afternoon which was fine since my grandma was perfectly ok with that. However I don't want to be stuck doing that all the time. Definitely getting my wrap out so I can wear her.

And our fridge gave out the other day. So yesterday we went and bought a new one. Thank goodness for memorial day sales! I'm super excited about it cause it feels so fancy compared to our old one.

Omg I was so tired today I managed to drop my phone in the toilet (pre-use thankfully). I thought it was ok but now I see the front facing camera and flash (so torch) doesn’t work 😖 I hope I can get it repaired. DNW to buy a new iPhone right now. Damn it, it’s the first time I’ve ever broken one in the years and years of owning them. Argh!

adeline, FX you can get it fixed. That's pretty good, though, that this is the first time. I have a sister that inevitably cracks the screen of every phone she owns right away.

I'm going to need one of those doggy stair case things you see in sky mall to get in and out of bed soon.

I think that was the summer of 3 iPhones. Including one I accidentally threw down the stairs and the whole front exploded. I'm hard on phones.

I’m still rocking the iPhone 6 but it’s really starting to be so slow. I’m going to replace the battery and see if that helps bc I just can’t fathom paying $600+ for a new phone.

I had one phone that went through being dropped in the ocean, in the slushy snow, and in the toilet. It finally gave out when MH somehow managed to knock it into my water glass in the middle of the night and I didn't see it until morning. Went through 2 other phones in quick succession (older phones given to me by my dad and then my best friend) but I've been pretty lucky with my newest phone (lg g6). The only thing that happened to it is that it fell on our gravel driveway and the glass protector shattered. I haven't gotten around to replacing the protector yet but the phone itself is in perfect condition. It'll be a year this summer and I think that's the longest I've ever kept a phone from major destruction lol.

These days, I have nothing to worry about.

I should have left it in the rice much longer. Fingers crossed the store can repair it not too expensively. They’re much more expensive here than in the US so I’m def not wanting to buy a new one!

I do this all the time because I don't have a purse and I've had a few close calls myself in the exact same situation.

DD spits up so much... every time she eats she spits up at least an ounce shortly after. She is fussy sometimes when she does and other times she just does it. Does this sound like reflux? DS1 never had issues with it but I’m thinking she might

I've started having some contractions. VERY far apart (2 in like 6 hours), but painful and not helped by what the nurses normally recommend I guess I shall monitor and see what happens

DS1 never had issues with it but I’m thinking she might Idk but E does the same. I’m brining to her pedi appt on Tuesday to see what can be done bc she spits up in her sleep and that wakes her up bc she won’t lay in that spot if it’s wet. I even hold he upright after Feedings for 15-20 minutes. I’m so tired of the spit up. DS spit up a lot too when he was a baby but he didn’t mind it. He was a happy spitter. And he slept in the rock n play so that helped too.

It completely messed with sleep and I wish the laid back pedi would have addressed it. Good luck figuring it out ... I’d definitely have a discussion with your pedi.

itsmemeg that sounds exactly like what’s happening here ... we have an appointment on Friday I’m going to ask for sure ... it just doesn’t seem right how much she’s spitting up

DD spit up way more than this little guy, but I don’t think it was that much volume? I can’t remember. I’d ask about it to be sure. Good luck!

It may not be quite an ounce every time lol but it seems like it’s pretty close- it’s hard to judge how much but i do feel like I need to cover myself and all around me when she eats/burps

My H is awesome. Since we came home from the hospital he's made me almost every meal, has changed more diapers than I have, has really stepped up in the toddler care since I can't, and has been pleasant about almost all of it. He just brought me a homemade latte. I'll keep him.
ETA: after drinking most of the latte, I realized that the foam is in the shape of a heart.

My heartburn has reached a new high (low?) and my nausea is back. My MIL finally arrived at 11pm last night and I’m thinking today is a great day for a baby. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm over it. DD came at 40w3d, and I am 40w2d today, I was told the second would come sooner!

My sister is in town from the other side of the country, so that’s where I’ve been all weekend. My sprinkle was lovely, my house/yard looked fabulous, and basically everything is unpacked & sorted thanks to knowing all the guests would want to see the new place.
Found out MIL is guessing aka telling people I’ll have the baby at 39 weeks. Considering I had DS at 41, I think she’s awfully optimistic.
MH is off today so we’re going to his parents’ for hamburgers and swimming.
