The nurse reassured me that it’s probably an issue with his blood on the card, but it’s hard to quiet the PP brain. Oh so it was the card? Shit. I’m still waiting for our results. Because we had the scare the first time I have a real thing about it. So I totally get where you’re coming from. Hugs. It's not a certainty that it was the card, she was trying to reassure me that it could be because I was freaking out a bit on the phone, it could still be a legitimate health concern. I was annoyed because she had no helpful information at all (apparently her supervisor didn't give her the details about WHAT was borderline, just that something was), so the not knowing is making it even worse. I should have more details tomorrow, though, I hope.

Hugs budders. I hope the doctor has more answers for you. Fx it's nothing big and a simple heel prick is all that's needed. I'm glad you're asking for help itsmemeg. Fx they can find a med that works for you quickly.

MH is taking the day off and we are taking DD to daycare. I’m going to try every trick in the book to get this baby out before Tuesday’s induction.
I’m legit fearful of how fast things could progress since I’m already at 5cm.

I was trying to roll over in bed, got to my back, and somehow managed to move in such a way that it felt like the ligament in my right hip was tearing. Owie!!

Here's a question.
If baby is laying primarily on the right side of my body, why when I sleep on my left side does it feel like my ribs are breaking? It's almost 10am and my ribs still hurt.
*sob*
Also, IT'S MY LAST DAY OF WORK! DANCE PARTY!!! (hypothetically. I'm not physically dancing)

congrats Madymoiselle! Had my membranes swept yesterday at my appointment and was feeling contractions sporadically throughout the day yesterday and was so disappointed to wake up pregnant this morning still with nothing going on. Good news is I slept amazing last night and I'm pretty sure I lost my mucus plug this morning (um... disgusting). so, here's to hoping baby gets with the program and comes soon!

I just heard from the hospital that one of L’s newborn tests (blood) was borderline so we need to run the test again. The nurse that I spoke to didn’t know which test specifically needed to be repeated, which was frustrating. We go to the ped tomorrow for his two week checkup so I’m hoping they have more info and can repeat the test for us. I’m struggling a lot with my emotions and anxiety this week, and this news is not helping. Harper had a borderline reading for hypothyroidism from her first blood test. They redid it and it was normal. I know it's hard not to be anxious about it, but fingers crossed it's nothing!

Went to physio today and made progress, yay! My hips are still out of alignment, but the muscles weren't so tight, so easier to manipulate them back into position. Now I just need to work on tightening them while they're in the correct alignment lol

Oh man, I am feeling the postpartum emotions in full. I feel like the first week was just adrenaline and exhaustion and now I am emotional and touchy about everything. I know it's to be expected but throws me when I get teary about little things.

He said based on his physical exam and the history he collected from us it's probably nothing, but I have to go back to the hospital to repeat the test. I'll probably take L up tomorrow, not sure how long results will take after that.

37 weeks today. I went into labor with DS at 38 weeks, so it will be interesting to see if anything happens this week.

I think I’ve hit the manic stage of this pregnancy. I came up with this craft project at 6:30 this morning laying in bed while everyone else was asleep and clearly it needed to happen TODAY.

I bought a big double hamper for the girls to share and with all the family we're going to have visiting to help I decided I absolutely needed labels for the 2 sides when you open the lid, so I dragged out my vinyl and Silhouette machine to cut labels/designs. Because clearly this is critical.

Enjoying a lazy day around the house. I actually took the time to look up some photographers for a newborn session after the baby arrives. I sent my H my favorites and hopefully we can agree on one of them.

H went and got his hair cut and beard trimmed, and got some clothes for our pictures tomorrow. HUMMANAH HUMMANAH. He looks GOOD (I mean, if you're into the whole rugged man look). I'm glad he's mine lol

E has taken decent naps today and for the most part went down easy except for this current nap. Been working for an hour on it and she is off and on asleep. Next time she wakes I’ll just let her sleep on me a bit if she will.
I’m taking this newborn sleep class and I’ve been trying out some of the techniques he last couple of days and it seems to be helpful and work. Doesn’t work every single time but it’s a work in progress.

This lady suggests swaddling for all sleep, day and night as well as white noise for all sleep. She is all about baby learning to fall asleep independently which will take time but practicing during the early months will help. Sleepy cues are huge! Don’t let your baby get overtired. Aim to let baby sleep in their bed at least 1-2 naps a day. Probably more but i can’t think right now.

itsmemeg I'm going to have F in the bassinet part of the pack n play in the living room for nights, at least until I'm healed enough to climb up into my bed again, but I already told H that for at least one nap a day he'll go in his crib. I honestly think that for as much of a hard ass as H is, he'll be the one having more trouble sticking with the rules than me lol
