That sucks! My top boys name sounds horrible with our chosen middle name! Can’t change the middle name because it’s a family tradition on DH’s side 😦. My second favorite boys name is my nephews middle name, also a sentimental family name. Back to the drawing board! It's tough! I'm gonna keep saying it and see how I feel about it over time. Maybe it's not really THAT bad.... At least we have another front runner boy name, but I'd been leaning towards the one in question all along! .....And then, maybe baby is a girl!! So the boy names won't matter! That’s true! It may grow on you.

tbirdlove - I don't think ending with the same letter that YH's last name starts with is a deal breaker in general. Some combinations sound just fine together! Give yourself some time to think about it before you cross it off the list. And with all the Team Blue we already have on this BMB maybe all you Team Greens will end up Team Pink!

My H doesn’t like any name I suggest. We do know the middle name will be James (family name) which is nice, it goes well with almost everything we test- now if we can just get a first name.

There's a chance for thunderstorms this afternoon/early evening. I LOVE thunderstorms but they always seem to miss wherever I am at the time. Really hoping we actually get one today!

I've been waiting for storms to roll through all day. They seem to be getting pushed back. I really just don't want to go to soccer practice tonight. I am just exhausted today even though I slept well.

$80 for maternity jeans at the gap! It seems like a lot to spend for something I’ll wear for 4 months. ☹️

Still, I never paid full price and got them for under $20 second hand. I can't even pay that price for non maternity jeans. Too crazy!

I won't even spend $80 on my normal jeans. I know, I can’t justify buying them, I may have to do some seriously thrift store hunting this weekend.

Apparently thunderstorm = baby kicks. Little guy has been moving pretty well the whole time I've been watching the storm.

So I feel super guilty today, I was debating on staying home and working there all day because my kid didn’t sleep well and I needed the furnace to get looked at. I was just settling in downstairs and I heard my kid crying, I have had zero space the last two weeks with how sick he has been and clingy, I realized that I couldn’t do it for another day and I basically ran out of my house to work. Then I cried because I felt so bad that I needed to get away. At least he is feeling ok today.
Oh then I cried again because I needed to get gas on my way to work.

meggriffin try to go easy on yourself 💓 Those feelings feel so lousy and guilt inducing when we have them, but they are totally normal. We all have our limits and need space sometimes. Being pregnant adds it's own complicated layer of emotions to everything. I had my own meltdown today too and also had to guiltily run away crying from my DS, ditching him with MH the second he had gotten home cause I was hitting my limit. I felt bad but needed to go have a good cry in my own space. I feel better now. The crying about having to get gas is also a perfectly normal and acceptable reaction - even on a "good" day 😂 I hate having to get gas!!

It's so weird being on the tail end of this BMB since I was a 7/1 date with my other. I feel like I'll be pregnant forever while I see everyone else giving birth holding their sweet little squishes. Lol!
My daughter had multiple meltdowns yesterday. I think she really struggles when her dad leaves. It didn't help that both bonus kid's fathers picked them up today so she immediately was saying how her daddy is on his way too...which obviously he is not. 😢 Breaks my heart so much now that she kind of understands it more and the things she says.

I think that's the issue with combining BMB months like they have. I get it because it doesn't seem like enough people on this site to keep individual month BMBs going, but there's a big difference between someone who is 24 weeks and someone who is 16 (approximate span of our group right now).

pixiepink24, killertofu I'm sorry you're feeling "behind" ☹️ But the fun stuff is coming for you soon too and we'll all still be here rooting for you! And one bonus of being towards the end of the BMB is that you can benefit from any tips and tricks from those who go before!

So, I finally caved and signed up for a grocery delivery service recently and I had my first order delivered today. I felt a little guilty and spoiled, but it was soooo nice not having to deal with the hassle of the grocery store!! This service will be priceless when #2 arrives.

I'm 10/30 and hang out over here, but mostly am in Nov/Dec. My last BMB, I was one of the last to give birth and watching almost everyone else give birth before me made being 8 days past EDD even more frustrating, so I decided I'd rather be on the front end. I'm also fully expecting this to be a November baby since my first was that late.

tbirdloveNot really feeling "behind", it's just different being on the tail end. Also, most of the active posters are September due dates. It's not a problem, just a different perspective. And honestly, this pregnancy seems to be going way faster than last time with how busy I stay with the kids. I'm not hating. Lol! I'm also fully prepared for it to feel like this child is "behind" in general because my DD was ridiculously advanced and early on every single thing. It was insane. I keep joking with my SO how we really can't compare and have to remember the average and normal rate babies develop, not like our superhuman DD. 😜

I ended up finding a random maternity bathing suit at Target on clearance for $8.50. It's definitely not my style or something I would have picked, but you can't beat an $8 suit!

Sometimes a deal is worth it! GAP stopped selling maternity in store when I was pregnant with DS so they had everything seriously marked down. I bought a pair of $50-60 maternity skinny jeans for $10 even though I have never liked skinny jeans. Never ended uo wearing them until they cane in super handy for that bachelorette party a couple weeks ago! $8 bathing suit is a steal. I can never get over how so little material costs so much.

I have a Lillebaby and I really like it, but I find myself looking at Tulas. I didn't front outward carry DS as much as I thought I would, which was the reason I went for a Lillebaby in the first place. Tulas look a bit more comfortable and less bulky so I'm debating getting one.
I'm also debating a ring sling. I'm currently picturing myself trying to drop-off/pick-up DS from my MIL's or daycare while also having DS2 with me. Seems like it would be a pain to carry DS's stuff and DS2's carseat so now I'm wondering if a ring sling would be good for quick ups and downs during drop-off/pick-up.
