My church reached out to me yesterday to start a meal train for after the baby is born. Are we really close enough that it’s time for people to start asking about things like this?!! Yikes! 🙈 One of my neighbors asked me about this yesterday too.

If someone could let these kids know that they are out of space for somersaults that would be great. They both just tried to turn at the same time and it sent shooting pains through both of my hips. Small gentle movements only please!

My appointment went well. She said things did look red and irritated and took a sample. It will check PH, yeast, bacteria, so I should know within a couple hours. She did say that overwashing/soaping, rough wiping, or the wipes I was using could be the culprit if the sample is negative. She recommended water washing or cetaphil if I feel the need to use a cleanser on the area. I got some samples of cream for if the pain really bothers me. She measured me and listened to baby since I was there and said I'm right on track. His HB was nice and strong 💓.

I'm so hungry now. The toast has been fine, as well as coffee this morning. I got a can of progresso lentil soup to eat since it's got some protein. FX for no more issues so I can eat normally tomorrow.

I am going to eat so much food tomorrow. I could probably handle something small, but I need to go to bed in an hour or so and reflux would murder me.

It's been so hard not having a lot of u/s this time around. I had one with DS at almost every visit to monitor my cervical length. The protocols have changed since then and my practice limits the amount of u/s that you get, mostly because the insurance companies don't want to pay for them 😠

Unless something comes up I'll only have one more around 36 weeks to check growth and fluid levels. I wouldn't have minded one in between the AS and the one I'll have in nine weeks. It's so cool seeing the baby.

Add me to the list with AC problems. Of course DH is out of town so I have to deal with the service appointment. I can't work from home so I have to take time off work to be here. DS1 and DD insisted on wearing winter PJs tonight and they wanted to be covered up. I hope their bodies go into survival mode and lose the blankets! My DD wore fleece pants and didn't use her fan. I'm just like what is your deal?!

goldenbird I went through a phase a few weeks ago where I had diarrhea every couple days. I couldn't pinpoint why, but it stopped after a couple weeks. I hope this was just a one time thing and you feel better!

I measured 34/35 at almost 30 weeks. He said if it's still that much of a difference at my next appt we'll do an u/s, but he said that before.

We have a.c.! All the duct work isn't hooked up yet, so we only have it upstairs and in the downstairs bathroom, dining room, and mudroom. MH has to do the duct work for the kitchen, living room, and computer room. And we need to figure out how to fix the issue of it not blowing hard upstairs.
BUT it's 70° upstairs and last night it was 79° (it was hotter out today too). So, I'm happy with progress.

I love getting to see the babies every week in ultra sounds but it is so annoying to schedule and very expensive. Like, won’t see a hospital bill because I’m going to reach my OOP max in a couple of weeks expensive. But I do appreciate the confirmation that everything is progressing as it should and sometimes we catch something cute.

I need to buy some Zantac. I'm going to give it a try. Zantac has been my BFF lately. I have to take 600mgs, broken up throughout the day or else I’m miserable. Plus supplementing with tums. Reflux suuuuucks!

I've measured larger the last 3 visits and she told me the last time that if I measured big again I would get one. Plus I think the fact that I just got diagnosed with GD is a reason for it too. Hopefully you'll get one at your next visit.

With your EDD approaching, is your toddler suddenly acting out more or trying to test you? I've noticed a change in DS these last couple weeks and I'm wondering if he's sensing that things are about to change soon. I'm trying to be patient but it's like he's pushing all my buttons.

Ugh, both kids have started acting out more. The 2yo thinks it’s his way or no way and tantrums galore. He won’t even respond to DH when usually he can get him to straiten up. My 5yo is a whiny mess - tonight she told me that she doesn’t want me to go to the hospital when I have the baby, she wants me to live with her! I told her I wouldn’t be there very long and she’ll be able to visit, tried to emphasize that we will be there for baby sister to be taken care of. Her teacher at preschool is pregnant, so I think she or one of the other teachers must have confused her about how long I’ll be there, maybe talking about how long she’ll be on leave.

This one is “only” measuring 2w4d ahead, but DS was measuring 3w ahead at this point. He has a big head and that inflates the estimate, so I’m not too concerned. He was born at 39w, 8lb 12.5oz (estimate was about 10lb). My late MIL had 4 children, each bigger than the last. DH’s baby sister was well over 12lbs at birth, so I’ll be perfectly fine with just a 9lb-er! Totally blame his genetics though...

Of course they pick a time when our hormones are at their worst! My 3yr old has all of a sudden picked up this habit where he starts screaming. I think he knows how much it infuriates me and therefore its attention seeking. I'm trying to ignore it but it's sooooo hard!
