CD 5 and the highest post O temp I've ever had. Including cycles when I was sick. This later O has me stupidly hopeful:/ This has to be your cycle! At this point I think I'm more hopeful for you this cycle then I am for me lol.

BFN this morning for me at 8 DPO. Now that I got that out of the way I can concentrate on our family pictures this evening. I'm so excited!
Also the most consistent PMS symptom I have is a random episode of irritability 4-5 days before AF starts. It sounds strange but I started noticing it when I started charting back in 2015 and now I notice it every cycle. Well I definitely got irritated at MH yesterday for no good reason so that's making me feel even less hopeful for a BFP for me this cycle.

I love the new combined thread idea and the intros! Great to get to know a bit more about you all.
Month/Cycle: 27 / 5AL
Timing: N/a
CD/DPO: CD15
Symptoms: None that are relevant!
RRCS: Long. I don't know how to tell my story in a few words.
I'm the foreigner here :-) I'm Welsh and I've lived in Scotland for ten years. I've been married for ten years come August, and we started ttc in 2012. It took exactly 23 months to conceive L, who will be three next month. We actually conceived naturally on the day we were diagnosed with unexplained infertility. I was diagnosed with PCOS at nineteen, but my cycles have been fairly regular since I started Metformin for type II diabetes, nine years ago.
My pregnancy was... eventful. My blood sugars were all over the place and took a lot of managing, which was expected. Unexpectedly, a routine check of my congenital heart murmur when I was five months led to me being diagnosed with a double left ventricle, which is so rare that when you Google it, all you find is a few case studies of individuals. I had several journeys to different hospitals, which added to the stress. L was born by planned section two days after my birthday. The first few weeks were hard work - I wasn't able to breastfeed, and I got MRSA in my incision and was on antibiotics for five weeks.
Because I was 38, we started ttc when L was eight months old and I fell pregnant straight away. We lost Gracie on 12th May, two years ago this Saturday. Four days later I heamorrhaged and nearly died. I was back to full time parenting less than 36 hours later because L was only eleven months old, and H and I were ignorant and didn't know what a bad idea that was. I became seriously depressed later that year. I had a chemical pregnancy in the September and another in February last year. We decided to stop trying for a bit as we were moving house.
On the anniversary of finding out we'd lost Gracie I had a surprise BFP. It was a total shock. We flew to Italy the following day so I wasn't able to see the doctor straight away. I had my first scan on my fortieth birthday, and we found out that we were expecting twins, but because of my retro tilted womb and fibroids, the midwife had trouble finding the heartbeats. So we went back a week later to be scanned by a consultant rather than a midwife. The twins had grown a lot but they still couldn't find heartbeats, so the consultant told me that he wouldn't be surprised if I lost them. Sure enough, that's what happened.
We were then medically benched for three months whilst they carried out investigations, since by then I had lost five babies in thirteen months. They didn't find any cause for my recurring miscarriages, so we were cleared to start trying again in September.
On January 4th this year I had another chemical pregnancy. In February, we hit 24 months of trying for a sibling - longer than it took to conceive L. I've been having a few medium term health issues so for now we are NTNP, not officially trying. And H was away this weekend at my fertile time. So we're definitely out this month.
Sorry that it's long. It's been a long journey to get here and I'm very weary a lot of the time. I oscillate between hope and despair.

BFN at the doctors office today too. They call with the results and this poor nurse said “I’m so sorry” 4 times in her 19 second voicemail. It was surprisingly depressing even though I already knew. But at least I’m cleared to stop the progesterone and wait for AF. Come quick, AF. I want to get on with it. If next cycle is the one, we’ll get a baby on or around DH’s 40th birthday. sunny75 we will do another round of injections and IUI. This will be my fourth or fifth IUI (I’ve already lost track!) which is more than they like to do, but I’ve been really clear with them that IVF is out of reach for us financially. This is about all they *can* do.

I'm symptom spotting to the max today (7 DPO). I had a bathroom emergency (polite term) which is always an early pregnancy sign for me, but I think this was too early in my LP to really count. I am totally exhausted and even fell asleep today during naptime, which I never do. I couldn't even nap when I had newborns. But it could just mean I'm tired. 😏🤞🏻

Radley I get very nauseous too around O. Usually on O and O+1...like dry heaving nauseous. Never happened until after DD was born. Or maybe it did but since I wasn't tracking or TTC I just never noticed. And I say track without telling your H. He's not the one who has to be pregnant for 9 months so I say you decide if you want to track!

Do you think you'll test daily now?

I'm definitely testing tomorrow but I usually start to chicken out around 10 dpo so I'm not sure.

sunny75 hmmm well I could probably be tempted into testing tomorrow! Full disclosure I did test at 6 DPO *but* my reasoning was I wanted a stark BFN from my wondfo batch to compare any squinters to. Very scientific, yes?

Add me to the irritable AF club. It's so bad I found a note in the kitchen with the heading "tlex's birthday wishes" and places for me to fill in the blanks about what kind of cake I want and what I want for dinner. I guess he's afraid I'll bite his head off over that too! 🙈 I keep saying "it's not you, it's me, I am aware and im trying!" But omg I have been so snappish.
