How is it May already?
This is a combined TTC thread for EVERYONE currently TTC. Whether you're a first timer, a many timer, or an old timer come on in and pass the time as we struggle through WTO and the dreaded TWW.
As this is a combined thread there will be talk of LC, losses, and IF struggles. If any of these are hard for you please just let us know in your first post and I'm sure the lovely ladies on here will be happy to add TWs to accommodate.
Feel free to add a little intro to help us get to know you better;)
Please come join us!

Hellooooooo post again today about my TTC thoughts? Why yes, id love to. I'm having one of those days where it's all I can think about.
Month 12, cycle 8
Timing: -4, O, +1
CD/DPO: CD 23, 5 DPO
Symptoms: I was a little crampy mid afternoon but it's passed and 🤷🏻♀️
RRCS: we put our girls in a shared room today (ages 2 and 4) and I'm way up in my feels about my babies growing up. I'll be testing this month just before my birthday and it's a "big" one (30) so I am a little wound up about that too. I just really, really wish I was pregnant. Sigh.
ETA a (huge) intro:
I'm a Canadian on the west coast, transplanted here about a year ago from Ottawa. I have a dog, Gracie, a husband (only coming up on 2 years married, 7 years together total), and 2 daughters (ages 4 and 2). I have PCOS and bitch about it... always? It makes for lots of super long, often annovulatory cycles (aka no egg gets released). In 2012 I had an early miscarriage, realized I wanted a baby, then conceived D1 (born F14) after 10 more months of TTC on CD119 so I like to share that story with people who have long cycles like me. You aren't out until you're out! That was a rough pregnancy (GD, SPD, and preterm labour at 28 weeks followed by hospital bedrest until delivery at 36 weeks). She was a very, very tough baby and my PPD/PPA was severe.
We had another miscarriage 2 cycles in to TFAS. D2 was conceived 6 months after that. The pregnancy was complex because she had an identical twin that we lost early on but the placenta continued to develop independently and caused a lot of drama (placenta previa and vasa previa). Otherwise it was a wonderful pregnancy physically, I worked until 36 weeks (which is when I had D1 so that was crazy to me!) and she was a unicorn baby, such a delight. She is a March 16 baby.
We "pulled the goalie" in the early spring of 2017 but actively started TTC in April 2017. I have been having very wonky cycles and I'm frustrated but hopeful that help is around the corner. It sucks we had to wait for this 1 year mark to get going but such is life when you move and get new doctors who don't know your whole life.
I love to crochet, read, listen to podcasts, cook, and bake. I'm deeply introverted but I play a Chatty Cathy on the internet. I recently started weight watchers and I'm gung-ho on that. I just had a CP last month so...that sucked!

Because I'm stuck in a basement doing bilingual examinations with no access to cell service or Internet tomorrow...
Month/Cycle: 16/8AL
Timing: -6,-4,-2,-1,O Yep. Had to add in the -6.
CD/DPO: 18/3
Symptoms: sore bbs (which I get every cycle but at some point it has to be a symptom...right?)
RRCS: I'll do a brief intro here. I'm sammysam...basically a life time member of TFAS. I have 1 DD born Jan 2014 when I was 34. Conceived our loss baby at 38 after 8 cycles but lost the pregnancy at 13 weeks accompanied by a severe hemorrhage. We are on cycle 8 again and hoping for the best. I live in Canada and am a high school teacher. I'm 39 now and SO just turned 51. Yikes. We're not married but have been together 17 years. I am waiting on a call from an RE to set up an appointment as it looks like getting help is likely our next step.

Tlex I'm so glad someone else posted today:) I still bed share with my 4 year old. I told SO I plan on sleeping in her room with her until she turns 30 or physically kicks me out. Whichever comes first. Plus she doesn't hog all the covers, kick me or talk in her sleep. I'm looking at you SO!!!

I'm also going to update since I'm lying in bed doing nothing anyway! We spent the whole afternoon doing yard work and I'm still trying to recover 😬
Month/cycle: 5/5
Timing: -1, -2
CD/DPO: 20/6
Symptoms: none yet
RRCS: My intro: I'm a RN, living in Texas, married since 2014. I love gardening and taking care of my little flock of chickens 🙂. We also have two dogs and a cat and would love to have more animals some day! My other interests are cloth diapering, drinking wine, and shopping. Not necessarily in that order.
We started TTC Jan 2015 soon after we got married. After trying a year we went to an RE and had testing done and found I have an unicornuate uterus and only one Fallopian tube. I also had a grapefruit size cyst on one of my ovaries. After two failed IUIs I had the cyst removed. The next cycle I got pregnant with Clomid + timed intercourse. My DD was born the day after Christmas 2016 by C section since she was breech.

Tlex, I just turned 30 a couple months ago! Feel free to update us on how the room sharing goes for your DDs. We live in a tiny two bedroom house so if we have another baby I would eventually put both kids in the same room for a while. I'm already so nervous about it!

sammysam ummmmm did I know you're also Canadian? I feel like I missed that! I'm so excited right now! 🇨🇦 sunny75 I will update as we go! It got off to a bumpy start with D1 spiking a fever and D2 meowing a lot (?) but they're settling in now, albeit about 45 minutes later than they usually quiet down. They spent some time snuggling in D1's bed and I think I'll be looking for the pieces of my heart that exploded for a while now! ETA and belated happy 30th!

I'm excited for this new thread! I see you lurkers....jump in!
Month/Cycle: 21/4AL
Timing: -4, -3, -1, +1 (IUI)
CD/DPO: 26/12
Symptoms: None? No spotting. Slight cramping that I can't tell if it's AF related or not. Otherwise I got NOTHING.
RRCS: Dude. WTF is with this cycle? I've NEVER (and I have 4.5 years of charts to prove it!) gotten through 12dpo without spotting unless it's a BFP cycle but this morning was basically negative (slight shadow leftover from the trigger shot, same as this day last cycle). Super weird. AF does not feel like it's on it's way either. Oy. I did read online that some people have longer LPs on Femara because it causes more/bigger follicles which in turn raises your Progesterone. But I only had one dominant follicle and it wasn't any bigger than a non-medicated cycle, and I have great progesterone levels on my own anyway so...?
Will update in the am whether or not anything exciting happens.
ETA: my TTC history is in my sig. I love wine, and anything DIY...and occasionally the two together. I'm 32, married in 2011, we have a 2.5yo DS and 2 twin pugs, and are constantly renovating our 112 year old house.

sunny75 My DD was a CS too. We had an emergency CS after 27 hours of labour as she was a persistent brow presentation that the everyone missed. Luckily a specialist was passing by my room right when they were about to use the vacuum and decided to check and about 5 minutes later I was in the ER and they already had DD out. If we're lucky enough to get pregnant again our next will be a RCS. I feel like a planned CS will be a million times better than an ECS.

Heeey! MH and I have been trying for our 2nd for almost 2 years now (DS is 3 and it took us 22 months for him also.) We both have some factors working against us, but we just recently started working with an RE, so we’re hoping for some better results soon.
I am an engineer but SAHM for now, love to play volleyball, travel, & spend time with friends.
Month/Cycle: Month 20
Timing: -4 in theory
CD/DPO: 21 / -4
Symptoms: Nothing to see here
RRCS: We’ve decided to hold off on more testing for right now (sono for me, testicular US for MH) until we see if our medication/vitamins are working for us. (He’s taking fertilaid and thyroid meds for me.) My cycles are very unpredictable so it’s mostly impossible to predict O. I’m hoping we get lucky this month, though!

Month/Cycle: 6/5
Timing: nothing yet
CD/DPO: CD13
Symptoms: none
So I am a 29YO from MI. I have been with my husband for 10 years (since HS), we have been married for 7. We have 1 almost 6YO DD who is the light of my life. We tried for 7 months with her and my pregnancy was absolutely wonderful! Her delivery was a little scary because she was in distress and we didn't find out that it was because her umbilical cord was wrapped 2x around her neck and it was also in a complete knot halfway to the placenta. I had severe PPA/PPD and I didn't get help for it until she was a year old. We were also living with my ILs as my H lost his job (due to downsizing) a month before she was due.
A month before DD turned 1 we were able to save enough for a down payment for our own house. Its been a really hard road to get to the point where I wasn't absolutely terrified to TTC, but I think I'm finally there. I came off my meds in November when we decided to start and I've been able to control my anxiety for the most part.
I just started the 21 day fix by beachbody yesterday, so I have something else to obsess over. lol

I figured I’d post since I’ve been lurking lately!
Month/Cycle: 22/22
Timing: not exact but -2, -1 at least
CD/DPO: cd 24/8-9dpo
Symptoms: none yet
RRCS: Just waiting out my super long LP. Worst.
I’ve posted on the various ttgp boards off and on. I tend to drift away if I’m struggling. I have 3 kiddos and we have been trying for a forth for 22 months, the last 6 cycles with an RE and on femara. Beyond frustrated that we can’t seem to get pregnant one last time. I am 41 which seems to be the problem even though I have a 2 1/2 year old that we managed to conceive after a comparably short 9 months. I SAH with the kids for now!

Hi I'm going to jump in!
Month/Cycle: 7/7 - 5AL
Timing: n/a
CD/DPO: 5
Symptoms: n/a
I have a 2.5 year old DD and she is such a joy. I was so so fortunate to get pregnant with her easily. I'm an engineer and live in the philly suburbs. Number 2 is proving to be more difficult - my IUD didn't want to budge and needed to be surgically removed and I had a chemical pregnancy in January. This is my last month to try before my birthday (31). So, I'm really hoping this is the month.

Month/Cycle:2/2 (previously tried for 16-17 months before having to take a break for non-gyn/ttc medical stuff) Timing:n/a CD/DPO: CD9 Symptoms:None/na RRCS: For GTKY/Intro: I've pretty much lived on the July15 board. I love my little guy, and after having to take a long break to get my severe asthma in check, I'm happy and nervous to be on the TTC train again. We are going to do a clomid cycle in June, and are going to see if anything exciting happens before then. For updates: I think my never ending period finally stopped today. I even made the daring mistake of not wearing a panty liner! I bet I jinxed myself and will bleed through my pants in a meeting now

sammysam that area is so beautiful. I made a lot of friends in uni from that region! Also I will tell you allllll about how glorious a planned C section is compared to an emergent one. I had a very similar birth story with D1 to what you described (you laboured 6 more hours than me though, woof!) sullivan hey! Hope your recent changes with meds/vitamins make a difference! It's so frustrating to have unpredictable O's. Same bench here. It makes for a lot of TTC sex..... a lot. remi hugs! I was so scared to TFAS because I worried about PPD/PPA again, but I didn't have those struggles the second time. No one can tell you what will happen, but it's nice to know it's not guaranteed for you, you know? And hopefully you will have many less stressors on your plate this time. And you know what to look for. That makes a huge difference. ❤️BBM is totally helping me with my crazy feels this month, I hope beach body is the same for youz charliefox sorry about the temp drop, damn it. I hope AF is a reasonable bitch this month. @obscurereference hey, welcome! That's great timing! How long is your LP? I can't imagine having to wait more than the two weeks 😱t&p. Glad you've joined us! loorin hey also welcome! I'm sorry for your loss. Totally get your feelings and hopes for this month. Glad you've joined us!

sammysam, everyone I know IRL thinks I'm crazy but I highly recommend a planned C section. I'm such a planner and having the date scheduled a few weeks in advance helped my anxiety so much. I'm just hoping for a better experience with the spinal if I have another one 😬

Month/Cycle: 11/11
Timing: -3, -2, -1 (so far). I’m pretty sure today is O.
CD/DPO: 13/O
Symptoms: Feeling pretty crampy and sleepy.
RRCS: I had my darkest OPK last night and I usually get a temp rise the morning after. Today my temp went down a little? I’m assuming that means that I haven’t O’d yet and it will be sometime today.
Intro: I’m 32 and live in Utah with my DH (31) and 2 kids (DS who is 4, and DD who will turn 3 this month!). We have two Australian Shepherds (Helo and Luna) and nine chickens! We love the outdoors and love living in Utah for that reason. We spend the summers hiking, camping, and kayaking and in the winters we snowboard and ski. I spend my inside time reading. I love listening to audiobooks when I’m forced to clean and during my long commutes to work.
I had my Mirena IUD removed July of 2017 and have since been trying for a third. I had a CP this last January and got pregnant the cycle after which unfortunately ended in another CP. All RPL testing has so far come back normal.
