Tlex Good luck with having your kids in the same room. We tried that a couple months ago and eventually decided to move my DS back in his own room. None of us were getting much sleep. I hope it goes better for you and if it does, you must tell me your ways. Our kids are the same age! I see you are 5dpo. When do you usually start testing? sammysam Our kids are only a couple months apart in age! 4 has been a fun age. I can’t believe you are STILL waiting on the call from your RE. Are you going to try and call again this week? sunny75 YAY for chickens! We just got ours on Easter and it’s been so much fun so far. I wish they were friendlier! They all run from me still. I have to hold them down to let me pet them and I feel like Elmira from Looney Tunes. charliefox Oh no, I’m so sorry for the temp drop this morning. I hope you are feeling okay today. I had a pug a couple years ago and she was the most hyper dog I’ve ever owned. I did not know that pugs had that much energy! DIY + wine is one of my favorite past times! sullivan My DH is also taking FertilAid and complains about how disgusting the pills taste! Have you smelled them? I’m glad I don’t have to take those things. I’m hoping you guys are lucky this month too! remi Hello CD buddy. I’m so sorry you had such a rough delivery with your DD. It’s understandable that between that and the PPA/PPD you were terrified to start TTC again. FX that you are able to get in good timing this cycle! sharebear I’m so glad your AF finally is done for you! Welcome obscureference and loorin !

wildhoney sounds like you're living the dream! MH and I would love to have a rural property with some chickens one day. What kind(s) do you have? As far as sharing a room goes, I'm just kind of forcing it and seeing how it goes. We have 4 bedrooms so there's no need, but the girls rooms upstairs had no ventilation and were way too hot in summer, so we've moved them to the main floor to alleviate that concern (no AC). They seem a bit baffled but did well last night! I'm 6 DPO today and I can feel the urge to start POAS building. I haven't decided when I'll try yet. I'm half super hopeful and half very doubtful, our timing wasn't awesome because I had no idea I would O so early. I woke up with nausea and a boob twinge this morning but I think I'm just symptom spotting. I did have another great temp so I am finally relaxing and believing that O really happened. That's exciting! My chart looks so normal!

Tlex Last cycle my LP was 17 days 😭. Since going on femara I’ve been at 15-16 day LPs mostly, but they seem to just get longer every month.

wildhoney - I haven’t smelled them, but now I kinda want to lol. He says they make him nauseous, too. I’d feel bad for him but once I (hopefully) get pg, I’ll probably be sick for 9 months, and you know, have to have a human vacate my body, so I just don’t. Tlex I’m crossing all my fingers and toes that this is your month. Anything to keep your mind (semi) occupied the next few days?

Also Tlex, you have PCOS, right? My cycles are anywhere from 33 to 55 days long, so temping/charring/whatever seems sort ofna crap shoot for me. Does your Dr. tell you to do every other day when you think you’re in your FW? Or what do you try to do? I’m feeling like I might be missing a lot of the time because I’m so focused on hitting every other, but maybe we should try every day leading up to when I think O is happening. All that to say HOW MUCH DO YOU & YH HAVE SEX?! 😂

All that to say HOW MUCH DO YOU & YH HAVE SEX?! 😂 LOL No worries, it's honestly a very pressing question. We aim for every 3 days starting around CD 10, and then when there are any fertile signs (EWCM, OPK) we aim for daily. Sometimes there are multiple "false alarms" in a cycle and yeah. It gets to be a mindfuck, pardon my French. I haven't had a CD18 ovulation in literally years but that was my luck this month and I only caught it MAYBE in the nick of time because I had told myself I wasn't doing OPKs this month since they're generally junk for me anyways. Then I had unexpected EWCM, and surprised myself with a blazing OPK, so we dtd that day but I wish we had at least got in the day before. A year of TTC stress has taken its toll, especially with those prolonged "possibly fertile" cycles. EOD is fine for a week, when it's going into the day 40, day 50, day 60 territory.... it feels pretty prescribed.

Tlex We have 2 Easter Eggers, 2 Plymouth Rocks, 3 Silkies, and 1 silver and 1 golden laced wyandotte. If I'm remembering correctly, were you the one on the chicken thread that is worried about bears? sullivan YES! I don't bad for DH in the least when he complains about the pill. After all the things I'm doing to get KU again, you would think he wouldn't even dare to go there.

Sort of, we do have a lot of bears but I think they're pretty happy with our apples, peaches and berries. It's the coyotes that would come for chicken dinners! And lol to your second paragraph, I was about to type out the same thought. Swallow that pill, boys!

Not to make this a thread about chickens lol, but do you have any problems with your chickens being aggressive toward each other? We have all Buff Orphingtons and while I would like to introduce some new ones I'm afraid other breeds might bully the ones we have now because they are so gentle.

I think I'm going to cave and just test tomorrow at 8 dpo. It actually helps me reign the crazy in because instead of analyzing every symptom, when I see the negative test I can tell myself "If it's too early to turn a test, it's too early to have pregnancy symptoms." I don't know, maybe I'm just weird but it seems to help me.

Well ours are all really young still. Are you wanting the chickens for eggs? Silkies are supposed to be one of the least aggressive chickens and they are also the most adorable, but they aren't the strongest layers. All of the other chickens I mentioned above have been really calm. We wanted really friendly chickens so we really made sure to research the least aggressive breeds.

I already drive myself crazy with thoughts of testing early, I may as well just do it and stop obsessing over it.

wildhoney I am loving 4! And yeah...I'm going to have to call my doctor soon to make sure the referral went through. It's been over a month now. We're outdoors people in the summer months too but we boat rather than camp. Well, DD and I do. SO claims to be an outdoorsman but he is more comfortable in a swanky hotel than a tent. He and I are VERY different.

sunny75 wildhoney I have 2 bunnies - a holland lop (buck...lilac frosty) and a netherland dwarf (doe...broken magpie). They live indoors with us (they sleep in the bedroom with DD and I and have the run of the house). They're like a cross between dogs and cats. But now I'm thinking we need chickens...

sunny75 I say go for it! I actually have no desire to test...which is weird for me. Normally I can't wait. But I think because I have so much hope riding on this cycle I am just so dreading seeing a negative. I think it's the one thing that is going to stop me from testing early this cycle. But we'll see how I feel when the weekend roles around. I might start peeing in everything by the end of the week:/ Also I had a tonne of creamy CM today which is abnormal for me so I'm counting that as a good sign! I'm going to be so disappointed when/if this cycle doesn't work out.

Month/Cycle: lost track but a year and a half-ish
Timing: -4, IUI
CD/DPO: 26/14
Symptoms: nada. BFN yesterday morning. Waiting on AF, which is likely to be delayed due to the progesterone. I’ll be swinging by my doctors office tomorrow to test betas. I’m like 98% certain I’m not pregnant, but they want me to keep doing the progesterone until they confirm with a blood test.
RRCS: hello. I’m 37, DH is 39. We’re in NJ with a 5.5yo DD and two cats, one of whom is turning 19(!!!) this summer. Whenever I walk by and he’s sleeping, I always stare at him extra hard to check that he’s breathing lol.

What kind of cat is it? I don’t know. Orange and white. Is that a type? Lol. We got him waaaaay back when I was 22 and working at Starbucks. A customer asked to hang up flyers about him and my roommate at the time wanted a cat. She turned out to totally not be a cat person but I still have him! I super hope this is your cycle!

shakinros, I had an orange and white cat when I was growing up! He was a stray that I picked up when I was 3 and brought home. My mom let me keep him and he lived until he was 20:) He was the best cat in the whole world and I still miss him.

Month/Cycle: 1/1
Timing: N/A
CD/DPO: 10/0
Symptoms: just some mild nausea in the morning so I think I’ll O soon. Does anyone else get nauseous near their O? This didn’t used to happen but ever since getting my period back after DS2, it’s happened a lot.
RRCS: based on my history, I should O in about 2 days. H doesn’t want me to worry/track and just see what happens. I’m incredibly type A though and am struggling with not tracking.
ETA intro: warning its long!
Hi, I’m a SAHM to two boys (ages 4 and 3). H and I have been together 8 years and married nearly 6 years. We had DS1 almost a year exactly after we got married. We started TTC when he was 1 and had a chemical pregnancy almost immediately. DS2 was conceived the next month. After DS2 was born, I had an IUD place but due to my weird cervix positioning, it took a long time to place and it expelled the next day. I went on the pill instead. DS2 has some special needs and we struggled a lot with his oral impairment and feeding, Plus I kept getting really sick so I had severe PPA/PPD. When DS2 was 8 months old, H had to rush me to the ER in severe pain. Come to find out I had PID from the failed IUD insertion and it had been a small chronic infection until it turned acute. Less than a year later, my body basically reinfected itself and I had PID again. And then again 7 months later. Then we found out that from a combination of the meds, poor diet and recurring infections I had liver disease and a swollen spleen. After finding out about the second bought of PID we decided to start TTC as we knew my fertility was likely affected. After 8 months, I got pregnant but miscarried a couple weeks later. After the 3rd bought of PID and the resulting health issues, we were benched for almost a year. We were cleared in March and started TTC this month.

shakinros I worked at Starbucks in my early twenties also! It was such a fun job. I still have dreams that I’m on the bar making drinks. So sorry about the BFN and that you have to keep taking the progesterone. Radley Wow, I’m so sorry you’ve had such a rough time in the last couple of years. That must have been so hard being benched for a year after your MC. I’m glad you guys are now in the clear! I get sooooo nauseous around O time. It’s usually right after I O. It never happened to me either until after I had my second child and had my IUD removed.
