Hi does anyone know if these products are ok while breastfeeding? Particularly the ones recommended for redness or problem skin? My skin needs serious help from hormonal hell!

Hi does anyone know if these products are ok while breastfeeding? Particularly the ones recommended for redness or problem skin? My skin needs serious help from hormonal hell! Definitely consult your doctor to double check, but typically most topical skincare is okay for breastfeeding. Some doctors will say to avoid retinoids, AHA, and BHA while breastfeeding- others say it’s ok. Here’s a good discussion with more info: www.reddit.com/r/AsianBeauty/comments/3l2fu3/ab_while_breastfeeding/

Has anyone ordered any of these products from Amazon uk? Just looking for products recommendations for the snail / vit c serums at first, thanks! I live in Asia, so I’m no help here, but below thread on Reddit is recent and has some good suggestions. I have ordered from Jolse.com like 5 or 6 times, and I’ve had a really good experience each time. It comes straight from Korea, prices are good, shipping is reasonable, and you know you are getting real products. They carry Cosrx (snail, BHA, etc.) and T’iam (Vit c). They also always throw in free samples, which I like. Ppl on Reddit say eBay uk is good too - but again, no experience there. www.reddit.com/r/SkincareAddictionUK/comments/7wddiq/korean_skincare_for_uk/Jolse.com often takes a few weeks for shipping (but it’s free...if you spend more though, you get it faster).

Just popping in to say that if I hadn't mentioned it already, the CosRX hyaluronic moisturizer has become a HG product for me. I swear I feel like a super model when I wake up after putting that on before bed. Is it the intensive cream? I just came to post for moisturizer recs, but this looks perfect! Yes! Try it, life changing I swear. Definitely too heavy for daytime. I like the CosRX birch sap lotion or The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing factors for morning, but if you use it like a sleeping mask you will be so, so pleased.

I’m going to put these here because I love them and they are Asian skin care, but body care vs face care. Salux scrubby towels are the greatest things ever. They make my skin so soft saluxshop.com

Popping my head in. About two months ago, I finished my Klairs supple preparation toner and switched over to the Hada Labo Gokujun hyaluronic acid toner. It just doesn't seem to do anything for me. Maybe I just got used to the slightly herbal scented Klairs and psychologically feel nothing from the Hada Labo. Or it's just summer and not super dry.

Hada Labo gokujun does nothing for my face except give it tiny bumps 😩. I do like using it on my neck and body. I love Klairs so much more as a hydration toner.

They are just the right size for getting your back. I love body exfoliation. Have you everything been to a Korean Jimjilbang and had a full body scrub done? It’s amaaaazing (and cheap...not really a luxurious experience though). They don’t eff around - they get so much skin off, and I love getting it done whenever I’m in Korea.

I feel like I need a friend to go with who knows what is going on Yes - you need to go. Tips: -don’t even try to wear a swimsuit or cover up with underwear, everyone will get mad at you. - shower all the time. Shower first - before you get in any saunas or pools. Shower before your body scrub. Shower after body scrub. Shower after sauna and before getting in a pool. If in doubt - shower! Koreans are crazy about spa cleanliness. (ETA - being strict about cleanliness is a good thing of course.) -cover your hair - either up in a bun or wrapped in a towel or under a spandex swimming cap. -don’t loose the hand towel they give you when you check in - put it in a tub that is provided and put something in it, like a small travel soap or something. People steal the towels and they are so stingy about giving new ones out (at least in Korea it’s that way).

Has anyone used or need the Sulwhasoo essential balancing water? It’s the daily tap on beauty tap (regularly 55 USD, on sale for 33 USD.) I have used some samples of the essential balancing water by Sulwhasoo and I loved it. That’s a good price for it, and very tempting. It’s definitely pricier for a toner, but if you just pat it into your skin without using a cotton pad, it will last forever. There’s something about the ginseng in Sulwhasoo that my skin loves, so I feel like I’d probably buy that if I needed a new toner.

Ugh, I didn't plan well enough and my Koto softmyo speedy cleanser hasn't come yet and I have about a week's worth of banilla CI0 left. I may have to prime some CI0. It's probably for the best because I like have both balm and liquid oil cleanser on hand anyway. Sometimes overseas shipping is hard, My cosrx PHA arrived though! We have family pictures in a few weeks, so I'm trying to wait to try it out. I don't think I'll purge since I use BHA and AHA already, but I do not want to take any chances. My skin is just now recovered from my brief attempt at using sephora primer in August.

@karenwalker, I haven't tried the Innisfree cleansing oil yet. Maybe I'll add it to my next makeup order. I'm a huge fan of innisfree's pressed powder compacts- the U.S. site has a decent color selection compared to other Asian brands.
I'm glad you are liking the PHA. It's nice to have real people feedback.

haha these masks are in my cart waiting for the correct time to hit "complete purchase" hahaha. Sometimes Naruko has really good sales on their sheet masks, and you can get them for like $1 per mask. I bet they will have a sale around Black Friday on the US Naruko site. Just FYI.

I have spiraled deep on this the last couple of days. My cart is full over at Soko glam and I just need to finalize and purchase.
I actually recently started the R+F Unblemish regimen every other morning out of desperation to help with my postpartum acne. It’s working really well but I’m afraid it’s going to start drying me out.
My plan is to incorporate this new routine on the off times and see how it goes. I’ve also become obsessed with ice rolling my face. I love it so much.

The Kose cleaning oil is making my face warm. Is that normal? I can't tell if it's because I'm washing it vigorously or the actual oil. No bumps or anything but my skin is like glowing pink after for a bit and feels warm.
Not in a bad way at all just different haha. Feels very clean

Tell me more about this ice rolling... theklog.co/benefits-ice-roller-skincare-routine/It definitely decreases my puffiness in the morning. Beyond that I can’t really tell if it’s responsible for any other positive changes since I’ve got a lot going on, but I really love how it feels. Ahhhhh I need some snail masks in my life! Actually, I could probably use sheet masks period in my life - my confession is that I haven’t tried a sheet mask yet 🙈
After using the Mamonde petal spa oil I think it’s actually grown on me. I’m not sure if the Rose is helping my face stay clearer, or if it’s just that I’ve gotten far enough from breastfeeding that my skin just settled. Either way, the price is right so I’ll stick with it for the foreseeable future. I’ve even adjusted to the smell 🌹

Never affected me in a bad way, and I just got used to it. If you start breaking out though, at least you have an idea of what the culprit could be! Hope that doesn’t happen if course 😊

lemons Welcome! I need to check out what this ice rolling thing is all about. I’ve heard of rollers for facial massage, and sometimes I like to put my sheet masks in the fridge so they go on nice and cool. Seems like a fun concept! sakura You must rectify your lack of sheet mask experience! They are so relaxing, and my skin always looks so much more hydrated when I regularly use them. My fav are Naruko - great fit, soft material, doesn’t dry out, and reasonably priced.
