This former A+ list singer wasn't shy about having underage teens backstage at a show last night. It appears no one is going to stop him from doing what he wants to do. The police and security personnel backstage just turned a blind eye to the whole thing.

This foreign based tabloid is ticked because they offered this never before a celebrity some money for photos but he turned them down. Turns out he just got a much higher offer so they want to turn it into a scandal now when they tried to do the same thing.

I do feel bad for everyone losing their jobs. I am glad ABC made it clear they won't tolerate remarks like she made. But it sucks she had to take people down with her, I assume it wasn't possible for them to just remove her from the show. Well, she is the title character, so... Yeah for sure. I didn’t know if she owned any rights to the show as well. |

Well, she is the title character, so... Yeah for sure. I didn’t know if she owned any rights to the show as well. They had a second Becky, I guess they could have a second Roseanne. 😂 |

Like... who didn’t already know Roseanne was a disgusting racist before the reboot? I do think a lot of people did. And I think that’s why ABC was fine with working with her. Money/ratings for them and they could sidestep any controversy. It wasn’t until she said something that got tons of attention that the network decided to act. ABC knew she was a racist all along but the general public didn’t and they wanted to capitalize on that for as long as it benefited them. Yeah, I agree with you. Of course there were people in the general population unaware, but ABC knew and did the reboot anyway. It’s never been a secret (see the tweet from 2013 posted above) so they had to know it would blow up before long. |

I have known about Roseanne’s crazy turn of human character into a racist bigot for quite some time but didn’t think that it was was super common knowledge since I only knew about it from following her on twitter for the last 5 years or so. I’m meh on ABC acting like the moral high ground now but I don’t see how they could have made a different choice now.
It’s also such bullshit for Roseanne to claim that her character would have become a trumper. The Roseanne character once stood for aligning with the minorities in American society and tackling issues with a liberal view during the first Bush era. I don’t see that character making a huge change like that especially given the progression of general American perspective since then. Idk. It all just pisses me off that she got a voice at all. But not surprising.
