But Roseanne ran on reruns for a few years on Nick at nite. So they have money for royalties and all. Plus they are able bodied and can do non-acting work. Idon't feel bad for any of them for being out of a job.
ETA: I don't feel bad for actors. I can sympathize with the crew but ABC will have to replace the show so it doesn't mean they are necessarily unemployed or even for long.

I mean it is Hollywood I'm not sure how to answer the bootstrap question 😬 Surely Hollywood employees are used to shows coming and going? It's part of the industry. It's like people in oil know the boom/bust cycle. ETA: I see the bold now. No the actress left the series the first time to go to Vassar. I won't feel bad she has to go back to whatever she was doing before hand.

I am not WK the show and I am fine with it being canceled, but I will feel sorry for those working on the show

Just because someone is able bodied and can physically work doesn’t mean it doesn’t suck that they lost their job. Because they’re actors, it’s okay? Idk, I’m side eyeing that a bit.

I was thinking that I felt kind of bad for everyone else who got screwed because she’s an asshole. But like someone said above, you had to know you were rolling the dice working with her. This is how I feel in the end too, but I still feel sorry for DJ and original Becky. You know they were just desperate for work and will probably never work again as actors. I do not feel bad for original Becky. She is the worst actress. Every scene of hers in the few episodes I watched were excruciating.

I feel bad for people losing their jobs. Even if they are able to get another job and not have their lives turned upside down financially, it's a hard place to be emotionally. Roseanne created this mess, and while I really have a hard time understanding why the other actors/actresses would agree to work with her based on her history, qualifying who you feel badly for in this situation based on their acting chops is cold.

I do feel bad for everyone losing their jobs. I am glad ABC made it clear they won't tolerate remarks like she made. But it sucks she had to take people down with her, I assume it wasn't possible for them to just remove her from the show.

I find the cancellation a bit something. I’m trying to vocalize it. But the able bodied comment is sucky. the fact that they are now canceling it and making it about her being a racist when she was one before they played it because yeah me too

The fact they even rebooted it. You know they knew about her. Now they’re going to claim moral high ground and cancel? Oooooook. Good job ABC.

It does feel stunt-y, like they rebooted just so they could have the good PR of canceling her when she inevitably spouted some of the racist shit she has been saying for years. It's not like she's been hiding this side of her and just brought it out this week.

They knew people would watch it and ratings for their shows are going down so they wanted a pick me up. I want to believe they didn't know how bad it was, but I think they were hoping people would like the nostalgia enough to look past.

Because everyone knew she was a deplorable racist all along? spoilered for image of a previous offensive and disgusting tweet Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the show is cancelled as she absolutely should not have a platform but this isn't exactly out of left field.

Either way, now they'll look good for taking a stand when she was awful long before they put her back on tv.

I'm in the camp, they knew but didn't care until it got too big to ignore any longer without injuring the ABC name in a big way. I mean, the timing of rebooting was clearly to capitalize on her outspoken support of Trump. No one else is doing it. They wanted to have THE sitcom for the Trump crowd. There's a market for it, clearly. It's not just an ABC problem. 1/10 Americans didn't know and/or didn't care once they found out.

May 12, 2018 The company of this permanent A++ list singer has a paid army of online defenders of the singer's image. They're always creating new accounts which appear to have the sole purpose of defending the singer against any negative accusations. Say one thing about this singer and child molesting, and they swarm. Michael Jackson Challenge accepted.

America Ferrera had her baby. She named him Sebastian Piers.

While it may have been satisfying for them to kill off her character and retitle the show "Roseanne's Family", that was never going to happen.

They are pulling Roseanne reruns off the air now so good thing those able bodied actors can get other jobs because there goes residual learning too

May 11, 2018 This alliterate actress is trying to spin her departure from a network show that portrays her as a victim. That is not how everyone else remembers it. Pauley Perrette I want to know more about this!

As I previously told you, these two foreign born co-stars on a hit foreign made television show can't stand each other. They aren't even willing to put aside their differences for charity. The higher listed of the pair who is a dual threat A lister insisted on doing this big charity gig without the co-star.
Benedict Cumberbatch/Martin Freeman

Like... who didn’t already know Roseanne was a disgusting racist before the reboot? I do think a lot of people did. And I think that’s why ABC was fine with working with her. Money/ratings for them and they could sidestep any controversy. It wasn’t until she said something that got tons of attention that the network decided to act. ABC knew she was a racist all along but the general public didn’t and they wanted to capitalize on that for as long as it benefited them.

This recluse of a former A- list reality star is taking some kind of high and mighty road when it comes to the actions of others when he is by far one of the worst offenders ever. He cheats on whoever he is with so the sanctimonious stuff he is pulling is just crap.
