I'm so excited to talk Infinity War. H hasn't wanted to delve into theories which is killing me.

You won't regret it. I could watch it 100 times. Not just Thor and Loki either -- Tessa Thompson is awesome as new character Valkyrie, the Hulk parts are hilarious, and Jeff Goldblum is a fucking scream as the Grandmaster. I second this. It is everything another Thor movie needed to be. Also, in case nobody has seen this yet, you're welcome: I love that video! The song fits so perfectly.

T'Challa? I don't know. Tony and Steve are natural leaders. Or BW and Hawk eye? T'Challa was my thought. And remember Captain Marvel is coming as well. It would be nice to have a female leader but I don't know if I could see BW or Scarlet Witch in that role. Yeah, the Widow is very much a lone wolf. And Wanda is still quite emotionally damaged that I don't think she'd be able to step up and lead. I'm excited for Captain Marvel, though I think it might be odd for them to have her lead when her solo movie will come out very soon before Avengers 4.

I loooooooove Jeff Goldblum. I have already informed H we are watching it this weekend. He is Goldblum-y AF in that movie.

Cate Blanchett was amazing as Hela. She played the villain beautifully.

I haven’t seen Dr Strange. I started it and fell asleep. I’m trying to decide if I should watch it before Saturday. I kind of feel like Thor Ragnarok gave me an intro to that character. Dd2 and I are currently rewatching (watching some for the first time) the Marvel movies. Dr. Strange has been my least favorite so far, surpassing Thor 2 as the previous loser. It didn't even feel like it belonged in this universe. And his accident was like 3 minutes into the movie, I felt no connection to his character. We finished GG vol.2 last week, so we still have Spiderman, Thor 3, Black Panther, and soon to be Infinity War. I had hopes of us finishing in time to see it in theaters, but we'll see.

Maybe both Tony and Steve will die. Who will step in as the new leader then, I wonder. You guys are making me very angry. I’m about to Hulk our over here. I find Hulk to be so boring. I forget he’s there half the time.

Cannot wait for Infinity War. I'm trying to resign myself to the possibility (fact?) Cap is going to die. Not only is his contract up but I get the impression (or maybe read it somewhere) that Chris Evans is kind of done with it. It pains me, because he's great, but I can't blame the guy for wanting to move on. We haven't seen Dr. Strange either - I would have thought it would be on HBO or one of the movie channels by now, but nope. Not sure we'll be able to catch it before we see IW, so I'm glad he was in Ragnarok. I try to keep my expectations for movies like these in check, but after Ragnarok and BP, I'm expecting a lot from it. It has been on Netflix, I think. Not sure if it still is!

My one complaint with Ragnarok is the lack of female characters. Sure Valkyrie is epic, but other than Hela and her, there are no more women. Jane is gone due to break up and Darcy with her, which made me sad, because I love Darcy Lewis. She's my favorite non-superhero side character of the universe. And where the hell was Sif? I thought Jane was sooooooo boring though. I liked Darcy in Thor but found her annoying in Thor 2. (Except for the "Mew Mew!" line -- that was hilarious). And Sif is beautiful, but I was more interested in Valkyrie after watching her for 30 seconds than I was in Sif after two movies. For me, the quality of the female characters in TR (full backstories, not just girlfriends or comic relief) outweighs the quantity of them in the other Thor films.

I liked how we got to see Tony dealing with the aftermath of the Battle of New York. I feel like it set up Ultron nicely.

Yeah, I didn't really find Jane interesting, but I missed Darcy. I'll just go off and read more Darcy/Loki fanfic and mumble about it to myself.

I haven’t seen some of the older ones either. I fell in love with Avengers and only watched a couple that came out before then.

Like, you know what would be cool? If we had a guy get really big during the main battle of Civil War. Ok, so let's make a movie for that guy so he can be in the next movie for 4 minutes.

He definitely is a better geek than either of the others. He felt like a more realistic high school student turned superhero.

DS and DD1 started watching these Mario play through on Amazon and the guy playing sounds EXACTLY like Paul Rudd. I like to pretend it secretly is him and he's a huge nerd IRL.

Karen Gillan, what fashion student knitted you that monstrosity of a dress? I love that Danai Gurira looks like she could kick ass no matter how much beading is on her dress. Vin... Ok buddy.

Yes. I was thinking of posting these in the blinds since there was a request for hot superhero pics. Vin Diesel looks ridiculous.
Also my dad does...not look like Paul Rudd.

Had these exact same thoughts. Also, where was Chris Evans?! (uh, clearly I am Team Cap, in case anyone was wondering.) Oh wait, he's on Broadway right now and probably couldn't make it.
