Seems to be stopping, and she is moving around a lot. I took the day off. I didn't think it needed a call into OB overnight, but since my sister was at work, she asked one of the residents about it. He said since it was getting lighter then I could probably wait until they open to call. Drink lots of water, rest, etc. H thinks I did too much this weekend, but I don't think so. This sounds so dumb, but I feel guilty if I can't even do the basic stuff around the house.

I want to rip out my left eye. It seems to attract loose eyelashes. Two times previously it's been red and painful for a few days, after which time an actual clump of lashes makes its way to the front of my eyeball where I can get it out. Like wtf, eye?? I see nothing there, which is probably because they're stuck in the back. It could be dust or something else but it's probably lashes. No goop or crust so it's not pinkeye. Ouch!! Can you try flushing it with some saline?

I emailed the US place I was thinking about going to and asked if having an anterior placenta would make it hard to get good pictures. She said it could but it depends on the baby's position. She said some women get good pics still and some can barely see the face. So now I'm even more conflicted on if I should get one.
Anyone had an anterior placenta and still get good 3d/4d pics?

I had to bend down to pick up dog poop this morning. When I stood back up I thought I was going to pass out. I saw literal stars. Third trimester is going to be interesting.

I didn’t think about anterior placenta messing with the 3D pics. I’m still planning to get it down, but not for another three weeks or so.

Last time it took three days for the clump of lashes to appear. 😣 If nothing has surfaced by tomorrow morning I'll make a doctor's appointment.

And I also have to hold my breath when bending over, that prolly doesn't help with the seeing stars. Does it do it if you squat instead of bend?

Otherwise idk if it will be worth spending the money and chance only seeing placenta.

This is how I ended up sitting on the floor of the grocery store last week. Bend down to get applesauce...nope, gotta stay down.

She looks amazing! I....did not look like that hours after birth. I was so swollen and bloated from all the IV fluids. I was amazed at how good she looks. I looked 6 months pregnant still when we left the hospital with DS and that was after 5 days! Same!

RE those considering paying for 3D ultrasounds- at my OB they can turn on 3D mode on their ultrasound machine. with DS2 they gave me a 3D picture of his face at my 32 week ultrasound. so you may want to check to see if your OB's/imaging facility's machine has that capability?
here is a pic (that is a pic of baby DH on the right- i thought they looked the same) {deleted pic}
i was at the ENT with DS2 this morning. he needs a tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy for sleep apnea. :/ we've been through this before with DS1 so we know what to expect, but ugh. the other question is to have it done in june or have it done in august or september after the baby comes. i'm not sure which is worse! obviously i'd be on leave post-baby so it might be easier, but i'd also have a newborn to worry about. ugh.
ETA: RE hip/pelvic pain- i dragged out the giant body pillow on sunday and i feel worlds better after 2 nights of sleeping with it. it's a cumbersome pain in the ass, but worth it. i'm remembering from last time that having both your knees and ankles separated when you sleep makes a big difference-- then you're properly aligned all the way down. i used to just sleep with a little pillow between my knees.

notmoose I'll see if I can post my pics. I thought they were pretty good and I have an anterior placenta Was baby head down? My baby chills transverse most of the time. I'm not sure what position would be ideal for an anterior placenta.

My Dr office doesn't even have an ultrasound machine. They make an appt at the hospital for me. And I won't be getting any more ultrasounds unless elective.

1 hour until I'm off and I can buy some saline eye wash. I used water yesterday and have been putting in moisturizing drops, but this is ridiculous. The pain is insane, and light is worse. I'll be calling for an appointment if the saline doesn't make any noticeable difference. I don't want to let an infection go untreated, worst case scenario.

IMO once LO is on the outside and you can take as many photos of them as you want, the 3D pic is kinda irrelevant.

Ahhh. I scheduled my next OB appt, which will be end of May for my 32 week (actually happening at 33.5w). Then, 5 days later, another u/s to check her size at 34w. Then, a week later, regular cervical checks begin. THAT'S SO CLOSE. *cue lowkey freaking out*. I feel like i haven't done anything, mainly bc I have everything for this girl already, but I feel like I should be doing something. All I have to do is pull out the big dresser and wash her clothes. But still. AHHHH.

klw, glad you took the day off! I get feeling guilty when you can't do anything either. The definition of doing too much changes drastically when pregnant. Like, sometimes, breathing is too much lol. Hope you continue to feel better

I put DS ultrasound picture in his shadow box that is hanging in the nursery. And it still makes me smile when I look at it because it's cute and reminds me of how happy I was that day. But you're right that once the baby is here, I'll have the actual baby to look at. I just feel so impatient this pregnancy. Like I need another look at the baby to hold me over. Lol

Ugh.
