Cottage cheese can GTFO. I have tried and I can't go for it.
I have discovered that I love greek yogurt though. I buy the HEB 4 packs of singles that are fruit on the bottom flavors and I love them. Chobani Flips are delicious too but pricey and more sugary.

I would assume Mikeale was a weird butchering of Michael.

I took my son to the pedi on Friday for a sore throat. Rapid strep was negative, but the doc just left a message saying the 3 day test was growing strep. He has been fine and hasn’t complained about anything since Friday night. I feel like he should have a fever or be in pain. I’m waiting for the doc to call back. Has this happened to anyone? Yes. Same exact thing with ds. Strep goes away on its own without antibiotics. However, it can stay in their system and infect their heart (rheumatic fever) and their kidneys. So definitely take the meds to prevent that. Thank you! That’s exactly what the pedi said. It’s scary because I almost didn’t even take him in because he only complained of a sore throat like 3x over 4 days. It’s terrifying to think of undiagnosed strep now

There's a kid in B's class named Mikhail. At least, that's how it's pronounced. There are a lot of unnecessary double letters in his name...

That’s good that you guys mentioned the kids and protein. DS has been bugging me for some of the premier pure protein drinks and I do let him have little sips, but maybe I should say no. I was just being cheap by not wanting him to drink it all. My kid is like "Are those like chocolate milk? It looks like there's chocolate on it" and I say... "Sort of but it doesnt taste good to kids, only to adults...you wouldn't like it. To you it would taste like dirt" Seems to deter him enough...haha

Seriously CHOP does very few foods right. (Except for fancy grilled cheese week)
But they have a make your own yogurt parfait every morning. You get to choose plain or vanilla yogurt. Then add fruit (strawberries, blueberries, cantaloupe, pineapple, raspberries or blackberries. ). Then you add toppings (they have two types of granola, almonds, walnuts, raisins, etc) You can also add honey or syrup.
I live on that breakfast.

I eat that every time I’m there. My other hospital makes a mean omlette. So I alternate. If I’m home.... I wing it.

It’s pronounced Mah-Kay-Lee. Mikhail is a common name, I think it’s a form of Michael in a different language. Yes— Russian definitely. Probably some other Eastern European languages too.

origami , how did it go this morning? I couldn't tell if your were in any of the pictures. I hope you knew I wasn't joking about the Facebook stalking earlier. It went great and I avoided the spotlight! He's very personable and warm and cares about the kids of our state a lot. He's also older than I thought, but I heard he's aged a lot in the past two years--can't imagine why any politician would age a lot in the past two years... I know one of the newscasters who was there personally and mentioned not wanting to be in the shot and he and the camera guy taunted me with how they were going to put me in buuuuut thankfully they didn't.

I just read reviews of the various fraternities and sororities at my college to prepare for going back to campus this weekend. It amused me greatly.

Yeah, but I also see no point in disliking what someone else names their kid. If they love a name then I love it for them. So you have never heard a name that someone went with and thought, "woof" that's something.
that's great for you.
It's not about their kid. It's about the name.
I do all the time I just keep it to myself. It's not about me.

Has this happened to anyone? yes, to me. I did not get treated since symptoms resolved. DS had it and never spiked a fever or really complained, either. In that same stretch DD got it twice, and was treated.

H was laughing at me, but I created a high protein dessert that is very sweet and not terrible-tasting. 1 scoop of french vanilla protein powder (the type matters. I made it with Vega and hated it. I like it with Legion Athletics.) 1 serving of PB2 peanut butter powder some vanilla extract and some cashew milk to make it gooey/more liquid 7 grams cacao nibs 195 calories, 27g protein, 7g carbs, 5g fat I do something similar that you might like. I take a thing of vanilla coconut milk, add PB2 and Enjoy Life chocolate chips.

The smoothie in the morning is more about getting in more veggies but I like adding protein because 140 g of protein is hard to get to each day. Of course, I haven't had a quest bar since my baby rejected them in first tri. I'm hoping I can work them back in once I get this baby out of me.

It's pretty much 1/2 c of Greek yogurt in my smoothie and eggs for breakfast, 6 ounces of boneless chicken with 1/2 cup of pinto or black beans for lunch (w/ taco seasoning, some cheese and a little more Greek yogurt for "sour cream"), 6 ounces of some kind of other meat for dinner and a quest bar for dessert. I pretty much just the same thing almost every day or I wouldn't hit that. Honestly if I got over 110, I was happy.

Thanks Pizzaslut! Though I’m more than a little disappointed you didn’t have a secret way to get protein and eat tons of pizza.
