honda this was inspired by you. I have had the pleasure of living on both of Canada's coasts and even some places in between. I'm going to brag with lots of visuals and a few nerdy facts. @canadians join in and share the best of the true north strong and free. I just need a nice distraction today.

I love Nova Scotia. We honeymooned there and drove the Cabot trail. I'm planning to go back to Halifax in August for a couple weeks.

Cape Breton, Nova Scotia is beautiful. The Louisbourg fortress is an incredible historic sight.

I spent a semester in Calgary, Alberta and which is the Texas of Canada, except with skiing and better chip flavors. I want to go back someday and visit Banff again, I think it's one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

We are planning on road tripping to the east coast from South western Ontario in a couple of years. We want to camp and see all of the east coast sites.

When I was in 8th grade, my English teacher had a cousin that taught in Whitehorse, in the Yukon.
We formed pen pals with the kids in Whitehorse. It was so neat and we used to send pictures back and forth.
That was the start of my enduring love for Canada.

Reporting from the prairies here. I spent a week in Nova Scotia and PEI a couple years ago, and loved it. Beautiful scenery and relaxed pace of life.

I was only ever in Vancouver. I stayed at the Fairmont and had a room overlooking the water. It was freezing, raining and just all round SO dreary. Still one of the most beautiful places I've been. I think that says a lot about a place.

Cape Breton, Nova Scotia is beautiful. The Louisbourg fortress is an incredible historic sight. Grade 7 me got to spend a few nights there dressed in colonial garb and eating colonial bread. It was a really fun school trip! They gave us different characters with bios, class rankings, money or credit to access goods depending on status, etc.

Obviously I need to be there for the Stampede at least once! I hope leatherpants and hippo will brag more about Alberta cities because I don't have a lot to add. Banff tho. I can do Banff and Lake Louise! And Jasper!

I grew up in coastal northern New England and it kills me I've only ever been to Niagra Falls. I want to go to Nova Scotia so bad. And PEI (Anne of GG TYVM).

Fine, in that case I'm going to AW New Brunswick because it's the underdog of the Maritimes and no one ever shows it the love it deserves. With 2 national parks and 90% forest cover, it's a place of natural beauty

Now, New Brunswick doesn't always get a lot of love, its kind of treated like drive through scenery by a lot of Canadians. It's between Quebec and Nova Scotia, and most of Canada's population is concentrated right down at the bottom of Ontario and Quebec so anyone going "east" by car has to pass through. But it has some cool shit! Like the magnetic hill: www.magnetichillwharfvillage.ca/Drive to the bottom of the hill, take your foot off the brake, and be amazed! Hartland bridge, world's longest covered bridge And arguably the more interesting side of the Bay of Fundy (other side is in NS, take a ferry or ask a lobster fisherman to give you a ride over). We have a cottage here and most locals I know would do it.

The best parts of my Summer are spent in Muskoka. Yes! Any lake works for me. There are a few smaller beaches on Lake Huron that I would spend all my time at.

Quebec is too big and wild to cover, everything from polar bears to poutine. Most of my time there has been spent in Montreal and I truly think it's one of the most darling cities in the world. It's so spunky and classy and mysterious and French and it has a sense of humour about itself. Old Montreal is my jam. Fantastic food, great shopping, top notch people watching (and interacting), fun bar scene (craft night pubs galore for example), and so affordable. Thriving art scene, LGBTQ scene, and strip club scene.

I used to work in Alberta a lot. I remember driving and driving up to Athabasca and looking at a map and realizing how much further north you could go. Canada is vast!
