Betas came back at 311! Doubling time of 34 hours. The doc is happy with that number but they will still test me for a few more and then schedule an US. I go back Monday to make sure everything is still on track.

I went grocery shopping and did laundry today. Other than that I was parked on the couch, so tired, and puke feeling all day 😫

I slept like crap last night and woke up for the day around 3am. I’d hoped to nap while DS did but he refused to nap today. I was walking around the house all grumpy about being tired this afternoon when it hit me. In several months, I am going to be so much more tired every day. For like, a long time. Oh.

I got a huge wave of nausea today, and it brought me great relief. I feel like I really am pregnant! When I was pregnant with my first, I kept wishing for nausea - I had a little, but not much, and it made me so paranoid. This time I feel so sick, and after a few solid weeks of this now, I've fully gotten the memo - I am pregnant, and would be totally ok with it going away. But I understand the relief of having symptoms!

This might just be me since I'm on the earlish side of the board (due Nov 7), but is anybody waking up with bump zero and going to bed with bump at like five months level?

I was, but now it’s an all the time thing. I’m in maternity clothes and you can definitely tell I’m pregnant (due 11/13 for reference.)

I just called in for a sick day because my digestive system is catching up with the last week or two. My son is watching tv and playing while I play Zelda in the bathroom 😔

I'm definitely still in the "might just look like I ate too much" bump camp. I barely have a lower bump at all (I think my ute is still retroverted), but instead have a weird high bump, I guess because I'm bloated/my organs are getting pushed up? I weigh more pre-pregnancy this time than I did last time, so that probably doesn't help. If I wear something obviously maternity, it doesn't look too bad, although I'm still self-conscious.
Being plus size and pregnant is tough.

So jealous of Kate Middleton and her gorgeousness after giving birth. No amount of makeup or hair could make me not look like death.

DD woke me up around 3am and when I was trying to fall back asleep all I could think about was eating a pickle and chocolate chip cookie. Living that stereotype pregnant lady life over here.

I am stunned at how.....bloated I am this time around. By the end of the day I look about what I did when I was 12 weeks pregnant the first time.
Shit it craaazzyyyyy.

So jealous of Kate Middleton and her gorgeousness after giving birth. No amount of makeup or hair could make me not look like death. Seriously. I went home 8 hours after giving birth (at a birth center) and I looked a hot mess, gingerly waddling to the car with a giant pad in my mesh undies and stitches, trying not to bleed on everything.

I don't know how big I was at 12 weeks last time, but I didn't really show at all in the Halloween costume I made. I'm 11+4 and I'm pretty sure I'm huge. The shirtdress I'm wearing today makes me look sooooo pregnant.

He was like, yeah, you do.

I WFM so don't usually wear jeans, but I did yesterday and had to unbotton them a few hours in from the bloat. I'm feeling ready to make the switch to maternity bottoms at least but that seems extreme at almost 8 weeks.

I think the second time around is just a whole new ballgame on so many levels, showing being one of them. I am def going to need maternity bottoms soon. I have cut the seams on too many leggings.

Need to get together with my friend who has my box of maternity clothes (she had her baby in November).

I've been wearing side panel and semi panel ones for a while now because the pressure on my stomach was making me ill.
I can't wait until it's dress weather!

I really have been hitting the carbs hard all winter so I was already in my “forgiving” and flowy clothes before getting KU. I haven’t noticed a difference from the fluff I already have going on. I have a long torso so last time the whole “showing” thing hit me late and looked like a beer gut (very low and not round at all) until I was really far along.
ETA I say this not because my bump was small and cute or anything but just like... it did not look like a baby bump it looked like a large spare tire.

So I do NOT recommend the side panel jeans from the Isabella line at Target. Uncomfortable and super low ass. I felt like I was in college.

I am not a small woman to begin with and have an odd shaped stomach. I think it's considered a B shape so last time even highly pregnant I did not have a cute round bump, it had a dent in the middle. . This time I am starting out about 15lbs up from pre DD pregnancy weight.

And worrying about how half your ass is hanging out every time you need to stand is super fun.
