I was pregnant during the election (gave birth late November) and I thought that was bad. Election night was of course it's own special kind of hell but it's only gotten worse since then. |

They did it. They sold us out. The OEA said today that the walkout was over, and that for those schools who had already closed tomorrow, we should use that time to thank all of those who made the walkout possible. Or...we could just go back to the capitol. The legislators aren't "in session" but a lot could be there. Their assistants should be. Must be nice to work one hour a day for a few days a week, though. Our government is so damn corrupt it's mind boggling. Our school isn't done, though. We aren't members of the OEA  |
