And by "shit" I mean that it was a totally spontaneous thing he said to make people happy and who even knows if he meant it.

James Comey: “I honestly never thought these words would come out of my mouth, but I don't know whether the current president of the United States was with prostitutes peeing on each other in Moscow in 2013. It's possible, but I don't know.”
At least this kind of made me chuckle this morning. I can’t believe this is where we are as a country.

I would like Mueller to stay silent/pillar of integrity (and I don’t fully buy Comey’s statements about Hillary) but I’m here for Comey to loudly talk about how ot normal this all is in very plain language.

@heartbot, nothing. They kept asking for different amounts -- $5, $25, $50M -- and the legislators were so done with them. The teachers were done with them. They didn't know what to ask for and they changed their mind multiple times a day. It was a shit show.

So he's pardoning Libby just to stick it to Comey?
I keep saying that's not how this works, but that's how this works now.

DOJ not involved in Libby pardon. Justice Department spokesman confirms there is there is no current petition seeking a pardon on file with the Justice Department’s Office of Pardon Attorney. @lauraajarrett
That was per twitter. My phone decided to not allow me to get the link for whatever reason.

I mean whatever conversations they're having, Mueller would just pull them back in to ask about the decision-making process and conversations if he does fire Rosenstein. It's not like he'd be content with whatever the press release would read.

It's not like he'd be content with whatever the press release would read. The fact that they think this will work is ridiculous. They are telling the press their plan and expecting then to go along with it and not share? And yeah, regardless of what b.s. excuse they pull out we all know the truth

enchanted, what does it mean it was staged, exactly? I don't think I can read the article (the events in Syria are a trigger of sorts for me).

byjove From the article: "Russia said it had 'irrefutable' evidence that the deadly Syria chemical weapons attack that has prompted the U.S. to consider airstrikes was fabricated." "Lavrov cited 'irrefutable data that [this] was yet another staged event and staging was done … by the special services of one of the countries at the forefront of the anti-Russia campaign.'" "Lavrov urged more diplomatic contacts over the issue and said Russia was open to further telephone contact between Trump and President Vladimir Putin. "'Diplomatic methods need to be used, which do not include ultimatums and threats,' he said." It sounds to me like he's saying the US made up the attack so that we could blame Russia and Assad and have justification for military action.
