Are you bringing meat to room temp first? Chilled meat will stick. Also use slightly lower heat and give it a little extra time. Definitely not bringing meat to room temp. I heat the pan, add oil and then throw whatever in there.

DH and I have mostly mapped out B's summer camp plans. I can't believe we have to fill 11 weeks. ELEVEN.

Ugh. I posted our first steer for sale on a bst page and one of the comments was “I can’t murder one”. I get not all people eat meat but seriously?? I’ve also had someone try to get me to cut my price by roughly $500. Ummm no.

I heat the pan, add oil and then throw whatever in there. You have to season SS pans to get them nonstick. But if not, lower heat and meat will release when it’s cooked.

loony it showed up to the patio I was eating pizza on and was sooo skinny. It looks like a boxer mix to me. It’s the sweetest. Time will tell if I keep it or rehome him.

If a dog showed up and didn’t try to eat my girl, or vise versa, I would most likely keep it...and probably end up sleeping on the couch with both dogs.

Not like I haven’t spent many nights on various couches with this girl, who I’m still in the doghouse for 7 years later.
Man she has been so much high maintenance and expensive than our bulldog was in 11 years.

Why do cats love clean laundry so much? Never fails, if I leave it unattended for a moment before moving it from the couch (where I sort it by kid) to the basket for said kid to put away, the cat is up there. Like I walked down the hall to put a pair of shorts in the donate bin and came back and there he is. He has a cat bed!

Omg pobre. What a sight. He needs some TLC. Congratulations on the new dog. That’s basically how we ended up with all the animals we had growing up. Never looking, they just always found us.

Sat 5/19 and Sun 5/20 are both home daytime games. MH scheduled himself to fly home Mother’s Day weekend since we always go to the game. Of course this is the one year they aren’t playing at home! Either of those work for us! Also I think we are going to Seattle probably right before you move there. ☹️ I will look into tickets tomorrow and PM you to set up the date! When are you guys going? (if you feel comfortable telling me)

I have been pretty good, but I feel I have my grandmother’s genes on this one. The only time she never had an animal (other than two parakeets) was when we were all in town for their 65th anniversary. We found a mini dachshund litter, and my mom still had 12 year old Lucy in her pack. I’m seriously looking for tuxedo kittens, a bonded pair. SO has agreed and we do have a serious field mouse issue, so I’m on the hunt.

One time we were walking our dogs and one dog started obsessively looking in a bush. There was a tiny kitten in there. Not near any houses or anything.
That’s how we got our fourth cat.

I have been trying to come across a kitten randomly for three years. I figure if it happens like that, MH can’t say no.

That puppy is to die for, pobre, and he looks like a Jasper. Hi, haven't read except to post stock a puppy. I'm trying not to go to bed before 8. It's been a long weekend.

The day MH found four newborn kittens in our shed was maybe the happiest day of my life and I fantasize that something similar will happen again... like, a lot. Two of those kittens still live with my parents. They're pretty weird though.
