The original Gibbs crew series is on Netflix and I think up to date until the latest season. My brother showed me his Netflix. I can indeed catch up with the last three seasons of NCIS. It is finally time for me to find out how Tony and Abby leave. Thanks!

I grew up in Va Beach, so it’s kinda nice to know all the places where the crimes are. MH and I visited Washington, DC almost 10 years ago. I made sure to make note of locations mentioned in the show: Rock Creek Park, Anacostia River, Silver Springs, among others. It was geeky at the time. Of course, we did visit sites such as the Capitol, various Smithsonian museums, the National Zoo, Washington Monument, the Mall, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and Arlington National Cemetery.

Well, kiddo pooped and spat up after the last feed. He almost had a blow out. I needed to change my tank top and PJs. Needless to say, we're both wide awake. At least he is currently calm and mostly quiet in the RNP.

The baby just slept for 8 hours🙌🏻 Of course I had to wake up to pump, but it’s still pretty exciting😁

I'm up after a 2.5 hour MOTN. Thank goodness for maternity leave.
I thought it was a good start to the night with a 3+ hour sleep. Fed baby - he ate a little and fell back asleep so I had to pump since it was getting close to 5 hours. After I finished pumping, he wakes up and wanted to be fed. What a catch-22 for pumping.
Followed by spitting up a couple of times, cue change of PJs and throwing a towel on the wet spot in the bed.
Glad MH is sleeping in the other bedroom with the toddler so I can avoid the wet spot in the bed. .

Last weekend a friend mentioned that she had tried moving her baby's bedtime up by an hour and had success with more STTN.
DD had been going down around 10, which is when she seemed tired, but I figured it was worth a try. So we started putting her down between 8:30 and 9 this week and every single night she has either STTN or only had one wake up. 🙌🏼wooo

The superstitious things I subscribe to about my baby’s sleep are absolutely bananas. Like... I’ll only put him down with his head at the left end of the PNP because when I tried that he happened to give me his longest stretch yet. And the thermostat has to be at a certain temp because when I moved it up a single degree the other night, he had more wake-ups.
Bananas. I forgot this insanity from last time.

Put the baby back in the RNP after feeding and diaper change. He's over there, cooing up a storm. Time to go back to sleep, kiddo.

I’m up pumping because DS2 hasn’t woken up yet. I was soaked. This was me earlier tonight. Of course as soon as I finished pumping, he woke up, ready to eat.

I had to play the bedtime game for two hours tonight. I hope this is just part of him reacting to two-month shots. He kept wanting to nurse, but he tends to overeat and then projectile vomit, so I was trying to find that balance between him cluster-feeding and overeating while trying to comfort nurse.
Aaand while I was writing that he woke up yet again. Half an hour since I put him down last.

We are always up at 4am to eat. Without fail. I can’t wait for the day I don’t have to see 4am. After that her sleep really goes to shit.

We have been up since 1... I laid her in bed next to me to nurse her laying down and I fell asleep.. for a few seconds or so.. and she was wide awake.
So here we are at 4:15. Second night in a row that this has happened - wonder week I bet. Anyway - I just have her unswaddled laying between my legs in bed hoping she will just exhaust her way to sleep.

Camping apparently messed up DS's nighttime sleep so I'm up feeding him. Far worse is that I was awake before him because I have so many bug bites and everything itches! 😩

I spent three hours trying to het E to sleep and she'd wake yp everytime I'd lay her down. I finally gave up and put her on her belly just so I could go brush my teeth and wash my face. She's still sleeping like that and I don't like it but I'm scared to move her. Do I risk it or do I just spend all night watching her obsessively?
By all night I mean the next 2 hours, obviously.

After a broken four hours last night, looks like I’ll be lucky to get three hours of sleep tonight. I’m going to die.

B sleeps so well on his tummy too but I can’t do it. I’d be obsessively staring at him. He also likes to turn his head flat forward when he’s on his tummy. Heart attack city. How’d she sleep? Did you manage it ok?

B has been a great sleeper since about 8 weeks. (I feel like the universe owed me this after L didn’t sleep at all for 6 months +). But we’ve recently started having swaddling issues. He has been busting one arm out and waking himself up. Tonight I’ve got his arms pretty well pinned so he can’t bust out and he woke himself up fighting it. I’ve tried the no swaddling and the one arm swaddle and it’s been a disaster.
I feel in my heart that sleeping well is coming to an end and I’m just not ready. I know I should be grateful for what we had but ugh.

Zippadee zip is a good compromise between swaddle and no swaddle for him.

I don’t have the heart to tell her that most of us get slapped with a serious regression or rough swaddle transition and this is just a lovely phase. That book she keeps posting isn’t doing anything. DD1 was the best sleeper while swaddled. And then she rolled over and never STTN again. She’s almost three AND STILL DOESNT.

Mine would gladly sleep on her side all night. I let her do it once when I was losing my mind. But it freaks me out.

She finally went back to sleep for about 2 hours. Then she was up again and I gave up and put her in bed with me until ds was up for the day.
