So how about if your kid still poops almost nightly? He sometimes goes just that once but usually twice a day and has no problem using the toilet by it think he just sleeps through it at night and it happens when he's relaxed. I'm ok with pee sheets but I can't be doing poop! He's been Day trained for 9 mos and asks to not wear a diaper at night but I'm too scared. Also scared to unlock his bedroom door at night so he can go to the bathroom. I would wait. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

peachsmama will you attempt to train both boys? My friend has 2 boys 13 months apart and she potty trained them together. I hadn't thought about it. But we've been joking that J would train before M because he's so aware about that. He tells me he's pooping and tells me to change him. But he's not even 2 yet. Is it crazy to try? How old was her youngest? They say there's a sweet spot right before 2. I would go for it.

Congrats csho! wedding a friend of mine whose son is now 5.5 had the poop-at-night issue. He was also super late to the night-training game (not sure if this has gotten better but he was 4+ last time I heard about it). At the time her pedi said that some kids just sleep super hard (WRT #2 overnight) and it's definitely more common for boys to take longer to night-train, biologically speaking.

Re: night-training, it happened naturally for B. I had him in pull-ups at night but he started waking up consistently dry a few months back so we switched to underwear. He uses the toilet at bedtime and just holds it overnight. We have friends who initiated overnight training with the waking-kid-to-potty-MOTN method, but that just seemed like a lot of work.

We've been slammed all day at work. I'm exhausted and ready to go. tgrimes hope H feels better. CONGRATS!!! csho I know who I'm tagging when I need advice for my next interview. You go girl! wedding Sooooo... did this 10 year old wear depends? what size do pull-ups go to?? Shockingly they make pull ups this size. His dad, my brother, was appalled as were we but his bitchy ex wife calls the shots and insisted he would figure it out on his own. Drs found no medical issue.

I'm so irritated with Dh. He calls me to tell me he's picking C up, when I'm already there to get C. Dh already left so he pulls into the parking lot and we go in together. Then he tells me he forgot to pick up Max's meds. So I had to race to the vet two mins before they close to get them. Luckily C went willingly with Dh. I may need to drive around a bit to cool down. I know he meant good things but failed at execution big time.

Eh I should day train first.. guster any tips on getting kids to share a room? N is too big for her halo bassinet and our doctor says we should put them together now..but I think we need to sleep train N as well too. Gah. Josie sleeps through anything really, so we put her down first. That way we can put Charlie into a dark, white noise room. The morning is a little rougher bc if Charlie wakes up anywhere between six and seven, Josie also wakes up for the day. So, what we've tried to do is grab him at the very first sound of waking up and then she'll stay asleep for another hour or so.

lahdeedah C naps at daycare in underwear without accidents. I don't think he sleeps as deep there and nap time is shorter. So don't put too much pressure on yourself to do night and nap at once.

Thanks for mentioning this. His school now does long naps - 2+ hours. His new school will only be doing an hour at the most and I failed to remember that. I'm less anxious about it now.

Hi! Work has been crazy, I never have time to post during the day. I worked through my lunch today since the new person isn't quite catching on fast so I'm practically on my own running the desk. It took her an hour to do 1 order today... I feel bad but I've heard multiple people explain the same thing to her and she's just not grasping it.

N has asked a few times to not wear a pull-up... that kid drinks so much water before bed I don't know how to stop it. He acts like he's dying of thirst if he can't have it. I'm constantly back and forth if we should try or not.

Col is wearing underwear over his pull-up. I'm not sure that accomplishes much, but he's feeling pretty gungho right now, so whatever.

I just let Dude lead the way. One night he insisted he was wearing underwear so we went with it. I think that was about 2 months ago? Only two accidents since and both when he was sick with his sinus infection. I didn't think he was ready but he surprised me. FX you're going to have similar luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk This is kind of where we are. We haven't had a daytime accident in a really really long time, but it's 50-50 if she wakes up dry or not. She told me last night she doesn't want to wear pull-ups to bed anymore, so will probably follow that lead soon enough. Those of you who have kids that are night trained, do they wake up to use the bathroom by themselves or are they just able to hold it the entire night? haven't read responses. C pretty much refused dispers at night right when he potty trained, so we went with it. He doesn't typically wake up at night to go. He actually doesn't even go right when he gets up in the morning.

H wakes up around 11/12 to go potty most nights. She goes on her own usually and then goes back to bed.

Col usually wakes us up, but I took NyQuil a few nights ago and didn't wake up until he was settling back in bed after. For a kid who didn't realize he could leave his BED on his own just a few months ago, he's shockingly unafraid of roaming around in the dark.

I'm catching up, obvs. H refused to wear diapers/pull ups to bed as soon as she started potty training. She had a rare accident until her birthday. Then she was having accidents basically every night. We started threatening her that she has to wear a diaper and she wouldn't do it that night. I'm pretty sure it was a choice she was making and not that she was doing it on accident. Anyways, since that cleared up she has had a couple accidents but they aren't super frequent.

We were short on help so I unloaded 2 wagons. My arms are scratched and my fingers are numb but luckily it wasn't hot.
The only help we did have asked me if I was having a boy or girl 😐😐😐 when I answered he said "oh, you just look like you have a baby bump" my brother told him to shut the fuck up before he gets killed. He's 18 and has 0 social skills.

MH just texted me pics of his sushi and said the piano guy there was playing Philip Glass all night. I've been craving sushi since Hayden was born & that's one of my favorite composers.
WTF dude. I'm on "vacation" with a whiny 3 year old and a sick 7 month old. I'm so tired and he's having so much fun by himself. I'm irrationally pissed.
Someone send him dick glitter. But I'll give you his work address because I don't want to clean that shit up when I get home.
