The woman at Dunkin misheard me and gave me a large iced coffee. I didn't correct her mistake. Mmm.
I paid for the large, she misheard from the speaker. I didn't steal the extra 6(?) ounces.

Morning!
Third rainy day in a row. Reeeally hoping it'll clear up before B's swim lesson; after being under the weather and spiking a fever last night, he seems to have rebounded just fine and is climbing all over me.
We're also going to meet DH for lunch; it feels kind of gluttonous but I'm thinking Cheesecake Factory.

Morning. H only woke up 3 times last night, but I stayed up too late discussing government conspiracy theories with my sister.

Morning! I won't be around again today. We are driving 3 hours north to DH's aunt and uncles house for a get together. I made a better than sex trifle that I'm very excited to eat. Of course we are eating at 1 so I will have to deal with S's nap too.

M has swollen lymph nodes in his neck. The pedi made me aware of the ones under his chin and on the back of his head, like at his hair line. And he told me those were normal. But these are new, and like half way between his head and shoulders. Should I call the pedi? I don't want to sound like a crazy person but those things freak me out.

Good morning. I had to send B to school in her converses. The only reason that this is noteworthy is bc she doesn't like them and has previously even refused to try them on (despite having worn converses all summer when I was pg with C). I was holding my breath for meltdowns, but MH said she did great on the ride to school and drop off. He said she kept repeating that the other kids would be "jealous" of her shoes. I am not thrilled that she is taking pleasure in that, but glad she has had a change of heart about the shoes.

I'd call, Peach. Probably nothing, but worth a phone call.

I'm off work tomorrow so just getting stuff done. I have a bunch of packing/shopping to do tonight and tomorrow because we're going up north after MH gets out of work tomorrow.

C's lymph nodes there get swollen anytime he gets the slightest cold/sniffles. I checked with the pedi when it first started happening (about a year ago) and they said to watch them for a week and if still present, come in. They always went down. It's worth the call for peace of mind. I worry every time I see them because the right one is very prominent. DH thinks I'm crazy.

DH took a sick day but he already texted me looking for my laptop charger so I know he is working from home. He is such a workaholic and I really wish he would take care of himself more. Selfishly I am annoyed since I will be the one to suffer when he is holed up all weekend. But not selfishly, I really want him to be less stressed. Sigh.

I'd call, Peach. Probably nothing, but worth a phone call. This. And just to add, even if they don't need to see him, it can go on record that enlarged lymph nodes were noted on such and such date. So if there's ever future questions, you/the pedi have a history to go by.

Charlie has one on his neck closer to shoulder and Josie has one on her hairline by her neck.

I think my worry is heightened because a girl at work is getting lymph nodes biopsied today for being swollen and abnormal. Then I found those on peach last night.

+1 to calling, Peach. Otherwise you'll just continue to worry.

Morning. I'm on vacation next week so my motivation to work is waning, but there is so much to do!
After years of me telling him to do it, H finally hired a company to mow our lawn. I'm so glad, because we have a big yard and with our limited time it would take him 2-3 days to cobble together the time to cut the whole damn thing. I promised him that he can take the mowing back over when the kids are older. 😂

Hay season starts this week/weekend. I need them to bail by where our house is going so I'm glad it's getting started. And living on the farm makes it so much easier. The late nights won't be as bad. We're also doing beans for the first time this year so we don't have nearly as much to bail.

I promised him that he can take the mowing back over when the kids are older. 😂 I feel your pain. It is hard keeping the kids inside/occupied while my H spends hours in the yard. DH does ours and is a perfectionist about it; we have tried outsourcing over the years and he is never satisfied. It doesn't help that he had his own lawn business in high school so he's nothing if not experienced. I've told him he can keep doing it, but I'll have a service on speed dial for when he deploys.

I'm passing out iPhones to the new leaders today and going over basic this is how you use your iPhone and remind them it is for work only. Netflix not allowed.

Hi friends. No plans for today. Besides that I already went to Target and my kids took over my Starbucks drink.
Might have some people over... we'll see. Also trying to purge my life before MH gets home. But I'm lacking in motivation and would rather lay on the couch. And maybe nap.
Is anyone else watching MTV The Challenge Champs vs Pros?

chrisy01,are you off all next week? Are you going anywhere? I hope you can relax some. Your job sounds extremely stressful/frustrating.
