goldenbird, glad you had a good scan. my OB had said that they would only change the due date after the anatomy scan if LO was measuring more than 2 weeks ahead.

I just need to say again that Zoloft has truly saved me this pregnancy. I feel like people don’t talk about anxiety/depression during pregnancy enough. I was hanging on by a thread without it.

If you're measuring a week ahead, you might deliver early since due dates are only rough estimates. I'm pretty sure that's what happened with DD. She was born at 39 weeks, but looked past full term and she was 9lbs.

vvvvvfee, she's a night owl . I've never been able to push her bedtime earlier than 10:30, but right now, she goes to sleep around 11 and sleeps til 9. I usually go to bed within an hour after her, and wake up to her in my bed, poking my eyeballs. We do watch TV, but she's not really into many TV shows. Word Party, Pocoyo, Tayo, and that's it. I'm so sick of those 3 shows lol. She likes doing puzzles on her kindle, so I let her do that for a bit every night. I forgot about the library! I keep meaning to take her there, I'll check it out. Thanks! cornflakegirl, most days, no nap. Sometimes, if she spends most of her day outside, I can get her to nap about 45 min, but then I'm tired too from the sun, so I nap haha. Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I'm gonna try the library, maybe the children's museum or something or the indoor playground. And the meditation thing. Hopefully that does the trick.

Zoloft has been a game changer for me too. I was on Prozac but weaned off before my first pregnancy. Mix my anxiety with work and pregnancy, it was rough. My OB put me on Zoloft when I was admitted for pre-e and I've stayed on it. A lot of my anxiety is internalized and presents outwardly in different ways, like not eating healthy, being active enough, taking time for me, etc. H commented tonight that I've looked really good this pregnancy. Not to mention, despite being uncomfortable, he made me realize that I feel better about myself too. There's a lot to be said getting control of anxiety.

She was born at 39 weeks, but looked past full term and she was 9lbs. DS was also born at 39 at almost 9lbs. At my u/s at 37 weeks, they estimated he was already that big - I was terrified, lol. He measured in 95th percentile for size all the way from anatomy scan until the last one at 37 weeks and he was born in the 89th percentile. Just remember that that the size estimates before birth can easily be off by a couple of weeks, especially if baby has a big head like mine do.

Have you tried maybe just moving up her bedtime by 15 minutes every few days? Since she ends up in your bed in the morning I'm assuming she's not in a crib. I know some people use a gate in the doorway or maybe use one of those childproof door knob covers. Maybe that can help to keep her from leaving her room.

cornflakegirl, yeah I've tried slowly bumping it up. 10:30 seems to be her limit. Any earlier, and she'll hang out in her room, doze for a bit, then wakes up screaming around 2 am. After 10:30, she stays in her room until the sun is at least up. We do have a lock on the outside to keep her in, because she always tries to sneak out within 5 min after I say good night, but when she finds it locked, she just goes back to bed lol. And then I unlock it when I go to bed. I don't know why 10:30 is her magic time. It's annoying, and it better change before she starts school, at least. I've always been a night owl since i was little, so it might be genetic?

Lol, I am fairly certain his head will be a generous size. MH has a HUGE head so I'm expecting a big headed baby. I hope not too big though because ouch.

kaeguri that's hard, I don't know what else you can do. I know I desperately need that me time when DS naps so maybe if she won't nap for you try to put your DD in her room for an hour and close the door. That way you get you can still get a break.

Yes, kaeguri, could you implement a "quiet time" for an hour in the afternoon where she can looks at books or play quietly in her room?

Having my hip and ass massaged this morning was....odd.
It's Friday! My clinic this afternoon looks pretty light. DH is going to the car show tomorrow and it sounds like he will be gone all day. Not sure what J and I will do. I just thought of a coffee shop nearby that has a play area for kids. Maybe we will do that.

goldenbird, my MIL terrified me telling me that my H was 11 lbs with a giant head at birth. He still has a big head. DD's was off the charts in size, way upper 99th percentile. I blame him, so much. Good thing is if you plan on an epi, you won't even feel it and honestly, at that point, you don't even care lol. I was just all GET THIS BABY OUT. cara, cornflakegirl, I'll try that and see how it goes. Last night, I put her down around 10:45, but she stayed awake til after midnight, loudly singing to herself and literally bouncing off her walls. I had to drag her out of bed at 10am today. Le sigh.

Do you think if you woke her up early, like maybe 7:00 she would fall asleep earlier? I normally don't recommend waking them up any earlier if not necessary but maybe in your situation this could work.

When I wake her up early, she usually at least naps 2 hours during the day. But I've never done it more than a few days in a row.

I think forcing a wake up time would be a good approach given what you've said. We struggled with our kids staying up talking when we moved them into a room together. My husband and I were getting so frustrated because we knew they needed their sleep. But no matter what time they fell asleep, they needed to be up by 7 for daycare. It took only a few days for the lack of sleep to catch up with them and there was no more talking about bedtime because they passed out when their heads hit the pillows. We've now settled into a routine where some nights there's no talking and others they talk for 30-60 minutes but it beats the up to 2 hours we were originally dealing with.

I haven't been able to reliably feel anything from the outside. I'm waiting until I can to have MH try to feel. And I do have an anterior placenta, as I suspected.

For people who got tests ala Harmony and all that, how long did it take you to get a bill from them? I used Counsyl for the genetic carrier screening for myself and MH and the prenatal test and haven't gotten a bill yet. I know I'll owe hundreds on each, and it's been a couple months. I checked their website just to make sure but it says to just wait for them to send a bill. Like, please send me bills before I have this child. Lol. DNW ~$1kish in bills to show up right then. I'd rather spread the money bleeding out. 🤣

My lower belly is really sore, enough so that I'm a little worried. It's not contractions and I'm not bleeding. Little man had a party in there at 3am so I think he is fine.

goldenbird, mine came in like a week or two? Maybe call them? I'm wondering if my insurance is the hold up, since it says my insurance is processing the claim and then counsyl will send me bills. It's probabaly complicated by the fact that I had 2 tests and then MH had one. They may be trying to bundle it all and send me one bill.

DD1 has caught my germ. I feel so bad for her, she is miserable. She was really bummed to miss ice skating lessons this morning and DD2 is equally unhappy that she is being forced to go anyway.
