So pelvic pressure... Is it worse some days then others for anyone else? Yes. That and pain/soreness around my butt and vag bones has been really varied for me. Like last Monday it was so bad and I thought it was from intense sex the day before. Newp. I guess never having done this before there's a lot of separating and moving that has to happen to get ready for birth.

And go figure that I took it super easy last week and only worked out on Sunday. Well it's still there somewhat and the elliptical and stretching both are fine and I don't feel it at all then. It's walking and stepping side to side that I feel it with. Sometimes even just sitting up in bed and shifting my butt to reach my water glass hurts. BS.

I keep getting so annoyed as I’m training my coworkers on different things that they’ll need to cover when I’m on maternity leave. There are so many things that I just want to be like “Hey, just look at it and figure it out,” instead of having to go through painstaking detail on exactly how to do things. So many things got thrown in my lap with little to no explanation on how to do it... I had to figure it out! It’s mostly stuff with Excel, which I get can be intimidating. But, when you have literally years worth of examples to look back through and all it takes is adding a new month and basically copying formulas from previous months... it’s not that hard!
Just needed to rant for a minute! Lol!

Google has been my number one teacher on all this stuff! That is always my go-to! It doesn’t even seem to occur at all to my co-workers though!

I'm generally uncomfortable/not feeling the best this morning. My support belt came yesterday so hopefully it helps. I just took Tylenol so maybe that will help too and I have PT tomorrow. It's going to be a slow day. That's worse for my mental health, but maybe good a thing physically.

I used to have a co worker senior to me who was constantly asking me how to do stuff in word and excel. Often my answer was "let me google that for you..." and sending her the link. I don't think she ever picked up that she should just do that herself!

Add me to the exhausted and cranky club. My cold is definitely getting better but I still feel so drained. I just need a week of laying in bed and watching netflix :-) 4 more hours of work today, not sure I'm going to make it. I am taking this whole week off from the gym to let my body recover and I miss it. It really helped break up the day and perk me up a bit.

PennyCandy, I hope you get some relief! I am 99% sure all my weird episodes are just severe anxiety attacks. It's been several years since I had a bad one, so I kinda forgot all the symptoms, but now i'm getting them 3-4 times a day. Chest tightness and pain, trouble breathing, shakiness, dizzy, limbs/face go numb and tingly, cold sweats, blurry vision, sensation like my arms are made of lead. Just happens out of nowhere. I was diagnosed with GAD over a decade ago, but i've been off my meds since I got pregnant with DD 3 years ago because the only meds that work for me aren't safe for pregnancy or nursing. I've been ok, with only maybe 3 or 4 attacks these last few years, but pregnancy is doing a number on me. Especially dealing with a toddler at the same time. Ugh. Anyone have any suggestions? I already do yoga a few times a week, drink tons of water.

I started feeling that way earlier this time too. I don't think I've gotten any of the good parts of the 2nd tri we're supposed to feel! Add me to the feeling tired and cranky much too early club. Ditto. I get home from work and I just want to sit on the couch. Third tri is going to be rough. DS has been so cute this pregnancy. He loves to kiss my belly to give love to his baby sister and he talks to her and tells her about his day and that he's going to take care of her. I'm not sure he'll still feel the same way once she arrives, but it's so cute now.

kaeguri, I'm sorry, that is rough. Could you discuss it with your OBGYN? Are you noticing any triggers in particular?

kaeguri, one other thought, have you ruled out hypoglycemia? When I have severe hypoglycemia the symptoms are quite similar and scary.

kaeguri do you drink coffee or tea/pop with caffeine? I realized a few months ago that caffeine was making my anxiety way worse. I wasn't drinking any from about 5w to 12ish weeks and anxiety was alright. Then I started drinking coffee again and my anxiety was brutal. I finally put two and two together. It hasn't taken care of it completely, but caffeine was definitelt making it worse. I'm sorry you're struggling, I know that feeling all too well.

catspajamas2, no triggers. it happens randomly, like when i'm making supper, or watching TV, or reading. I haven't mentioned it yet, because it wasn't severe enough, but I will next appt. My last OB sent me to a cardiologist and they couldn't find anything. Someone else mentioned it could be hypoglycemia, I fit almost all the symptoms except for coma right now lol. I eat fairly low carb (under 100g a day), no grains, strictish paleo, so I'm not sure if that could be it? I do have blood pressure on the lower end, It was 88/61 last check up. notmoose, I drink tea maybe 2-3 times a month, no coffee or soda. Mostly just water and coconut milk. it's such a crappy feeling I'm sorry you've dealt with it too!

kaeguri, do a guided meditation every night before bed for 10-15 minutes. that really makes a difference for me. it helps clear out some of that baseline tension that you don't even realize you're holding onto. i like tara brach a lot and she has a lot of talks and guided meditations on her website: www.tarabrach.com/guided-meditations/there's also lots of stuff on mindful.org: www.mindful.org/category/meditation/mindfulness-practice/do you get breaks a couple of times a week when you can just have an hour or so of alone time? i make sure to go out each weekend for an hour or two without the kids. on weeknights sometimes i just need to mentally check out and my H will take the kids upstairs and get them ready for bed just so i can have an hour of peace downstairs. kid-free time is essential for my mental health.

Lately, our routine ahs been that I get home from work and shower. Then DD will take a shower, put pj's on and after that she can watch a tv show. I usually spend that 1/2 hour sitting on the couch and reading. Dinners lately have been quick so not a lot of prep. Its been nice and much needed lately. I used to get "me time" after she went to bed, but lately I have been so tired that I go to bed right after she does.

vvvvvfee, I'll try those! Honestly, the kid thing might be what's triggering it. H has been working tons of overtime last month, 60 hours a week, all night shifts, so he's only home a day a week really (he wakes up at 2pm and is gone by 4:30pm). And his unit is going into an outage this month, so more overtime. Aaaand DD decided now would be a good time to drop her nap, so she's with me every second of the day. And terrible 2s going full force. I don't think I've had more than 20 min to myself in over a month.

Do you have a neighbor that can watch her for an hour, a babysitter/mother's helper? Will she do quiet time in her room with books or quiet toys? Will she sit and watch a cartoon or a movie for 30 min? Is there a playgroup or park nearby where you can wear her out enough for a nap? These are my go-tos when I desperately need a break from (almost 2) DS.

I am on day 4 of no nausea meds (I was doing every other day, then ok with some 3 day intervals). I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel (only 23 weeks later!!)

These are my go-tos when I desperately need a break from (almost 2) DS. I actually woke up early today, so i got to enjoy a whole 2 hours of silence and it was amazing. There's an indoor playplace I should take her back to. It's already mid-90s here, so being outside is iffy and plus she insists I watch her do things the entire time. She used to play solo a lot, but I think she's sensing a change coming, so she's been unusually clingy recently. No neighbors or anyone I know nearby that could watch her sadly. She does watch movies every once in awhile! Coco, Moana, and Angry Birds are her go tos.

kaeguri, yikes, that's really tough going so long parenting without a break! what time does your DD go to bed? i would definitely try to push it earlier (if you haven't already), particularly if she is dropping her nap. she will need the extra nighttime sleep and you get more kid-free time. i would also build some TV time into your day whenever you find her the most difficult to deal with (maybe the witching hour before dinnertime?). 30 minutes or an hour of tv a day is not going to hurt anyone. the pbs kids channel is great (we get it and we only have the most bare-bones basic cable), and there's tons of good stuff on amazon prime (tumble leaf, daniel tiger's neighborhood, dinosaur train, the stinky & dirty show, creative galaxy), and netflix (puffin rock, sarah & duck). i'd also suggest your local library- there should be free storytimes you can go to, but even if you just go once a week to pick out/return books, at least it's another safe place for her to run around.

kaeguri I’m sorry you are struggling. For me the hypo happens when I eat carbs so your diet would be the perfect antidote. I hope you get some relief from the anxiety soon.

I honestly can't wait to go back on my meds and feel normal again. My doctor wants me to start at 36 weeks but I don't think I will until baby is here at least. My meds aren't recommended for pregnancy and no studies for breastfeeding. I took them while bfing ds but he was older, so I'm unsure what I'll do when I get to that point. I hope you find something to help. Before I started meds working out was one of the only things that helped me. Hugs

My cervix length looks great and the anatomy scan was great also! It is definitely a boy lol. He was moving a ton and everything looked normal and good. He's measuring a week ahead and estimated at just over a pound already. 😲 No talk of changing my due date yet or anything though.

kaeguri I'm sorry you're having a difficult time right now. I agree with everyone else about trying to sneak in more quiet time for you via more tv time, earlier bedtime, or having your DD play in her room. I don't remember if this was mentioned or not but does she still nap?

notmoose, to ease your mind you could check in with infantrisk. you can search their BFing and Medications forum-- www.infantrisk.com/forum/forum/medications-and-breastfeeding-mothers/antidepressants , post there w/ your specific medication/dosage, or call them and get free info ( (806) 352-2519 Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm CT). they can give you info on alternate drugs to try or dosage timing to minimize milk transfer. they have the most up-to-date research on drugs/BFing. most drugs only transfer into your milk in miniscule amounts-- the concentration is the same as the concentration of the medication in your blood, i.e., millionths or billionths of a gram per ml.
