Ugh I need nesting mode to kick in more. I can't stop procrastinating. We have so much stuff sitting in boxes still and I've got maternity paperwork to fill out. But I'm just over here binge watching Drunk History and planning a Disney vacation that we won't take for years.

It's so much harder with another kid already underfoot. I have forced myself to clean and organize some stuff this week because it was our school break and I had the time, but upkeep is so hard with a toddler that it's almost not worth it.

They're going to organize my pantry!! And scrub all the dog boogers off the walls..oh bulldogs.

Every day I've threatened to throw out all of DS's toys. I can't clean up fast enough. Cleaning up after DH isn't much better.

My friend who’s due in Sept told me yesterday she’s waiting for her 2nd tri energy to kick in. I just started laughing. Her DD is the same age as mine and I’m pretty sure mine ate it.

Last time we had our parents come and help us go through the house two weeks before I was induced. I haven't even bothered asking this time because V will destroy the place before I can enjoy it. The one upside of potentially getting written out of work before my due date is that I could get a lot done during the day with H and V gone.

I never had a second tri energy burst either pregnancy, but especially not this time around. The nausea curbed for a bit, that was about it.

I feel like nesting and cleaning but my darn belly is so big I'm having a hard time bending to pick up. Grr. Plus, like many of you, my kids would mess it up right away.
I work in a public library and am so sick of the pregnancy comments. Yes, my stomach is getting bigger. Thats how pregnancy works. I don't need to hear it every day, all day.

My brain is a mess. I had a dream last night that I delivered the baby early, and then went back to work the next day to finish up and tell them I was going on maternity leave. I realized about halfway through the school day in the dream that I was supposed to be at the hospital taking care of the baby and started to freak out. I tried to get back to the hospital quickly, but of course I kept getting delayed and having issues. I woke up before I made it back there.
Clearly my anxiety about the baby coming too early and the financial stress are getting the best of me.

It never came with this pregnancy. Went from feeling exhausted and nauseous to feeling big, uncomfortable and tired.

I actually got a big thing off of my list today, which was moving our bed to the smaller room. I'm gonna AW with a pic because I had these battery operated lights that I ordered originally for my sewing area, but I think I like them where I have them now better. It makes my bed look a little more whimsical and romantic :-) plus I don't have a light besides the big light and I have to crawl out of bed to turn it off lol

Let me set the scene for you. It's approximately 3 in the morning, H and I are sound asleep in bed. I'm awoken by my hip, typically, hurting from laying on one side for too long. So I do what anyone in this situation would do, and go to flip over. And immediately whack H in the head with my elbow. "Sorry baby" I mutter, half asleep. He grunts in reply and I begin stretching out to find a comfortable position. I make a rookie mistake, and stretch my left leg too far, and I can feel a Charlie horse starting. 'No Charlie horse for me' I think smugly as I immediately flex my foot back, pointing my toes to the ceiling. Except, what the heck? My leg is still cramping, except without the excruciating pain. And now it's traveling down to my ankle! No bueno! I spend a couple of minutes laying on my back, working my ankle back and forth and pulling my knee up before I decide to sit up, grumbling the entire time. I scoot over to the edge of the bed and push my foot against the wall and start rubbing my calf, hoping this thing will just go away because now I need to pee on top of this, but I don't trust myself to go down the stairs without falling. As my need to pee gets worse, in a last ditch desperate effort, I lay on my back and brace my foot against the ceiling. Finally! Relief! I start to lower my leg and it comes back! WHAT!? So up goes my leg again. It's now almost 3:20, I've been fighting this thing for almost 20 minutes. I'm laying on my back, left leg straight in the air, groaning, with a baby pushing more and more on my bladder. A few minutes later, I decide to start working my foot down. Luckily, this time it seems to be gone for good. I go to go down the stairs and H flips on the lights so I can see. I finally get to the bathroom and I hear H coming behind me with the dog to let him out. Meanwhile the cat is sitting in the bathroom with me blearily meowing at me. Long story short, it's now almost 4 in the morning and my entire household, H, me, dog, cat, guinea pig, and baby are awake, all because my hips were hurting.

kiri, I did eventually manage to get back to sleep. Hubby, unfortunately, did not and will likely be taking a nap later today. Oh well, we'll just take it easy today.

I got so much crossed off my list yesterday. DH got DD's new bed set up and the crib in its place in her room. I got the changing table/dresser set up in our room.
But I guess I did too much. I got up to go to bed last night and had another incident of bleeding. So we packed up the toddler and DH drove us to the hospital at 11pm. Ugh.
Luckily baby looks good and the bleeding has stopped as of this morning. Now to get a nap.

Yikes. Glad everything's okay, ajm. budders, I've been having similar dreams and they're getting worse the closer I get to the due date. It really messes with your head.

Thanks guys. Guess I'm getting my rest today and tomorrow. Part of me is kind of hopeful that my Dr will take me off of work, my lazy, feeling too big already self. The other part knows it would suck for my coworkers and pay wise for me.

ajm, it's snowing where my brother is too. He had to go in to work today for a little bit and he sent a video of him going out to the car yelling "snowy white bullshit!"

ajm sorry you had another bleeding scare, but glad you're doing better. It's snowed here about 4 times this past week. Not unheard of for April where I live, but still unwelcome when I'm dying for spring (and it's been our spring break from school).

So, klutzy me tripped up my front steps earlier when we were returning from grocery shopping. We have a gap in the concrete between the top two steps, and my shoe got stuck in there and I toppled over. My leg took the brunt of it, but I did fall on my right side. I've been monitoring for an hour, and I don't have any bleeding and baby is moving around okay, so I'm just resting with my feet up on the couch now.
Of course this is following a night where I got only a few hours of sleep and V decided not to nap today. We also go back to school tomorrow after a week off, so I have a ton of work and prep to do, but I'm glad for an excuse to sit and rest for a bit.

I fell down our front steps (2/3 steps depending on how you count them) a couple weeks ago. I more so flew down them and landed on my hands & knees. Baby was moving fine, but I had some cramping after. My OB still sent me to L&D. Something about research showing that if something were to happen, it'd be within 4-6 hours of the "trauma"/fall.

I’ve reached the point where by dinner time (when I’m normally the hungriest) I just feel full and slightly nauseous and tired. Pregnancy is the best.
