Oh and we bought a new car yesterday. We got a minivan for more space and I love it! I'm getting a minivan this month! I can't wait. Which one did you get? I'm getting the Sienna because I need AWD. We got a Chrysler Pacifica! DH fell in love with the stow and go. I fell in love with everything else. Love all the space and features. I'm not sure how I feel about FWD, but plenty of people get around in winter fine with it, so I'm sure I will, too. I'll just have to get used to it. It's been years since I've had a FWD vehicle.

I had my 30 week appt yesterday and I’m aready resigned myself to the diagnosis that will be pregnancy induced hypertension. My BP was up yesterday and I just checked it again and it’s elevated again. This and stupid pregnancy hormones had me crying at work today. (This is such a 180 from my pregnancy with DD-my BP during labor was less than 120/80-all the nurses made comments about that one). Ugh. I'm sorry. I had pregnancy induced hypertension last pregnancy. Luckily the only symptoms were some swelling. They did keep a close eye on me and had me come in for more appointments and NSTs. The worst of it was being induced and having to be on magnesium sulfate all through labor and after for 24 hrs.

Right now I’m tracking my BP and according to a nurse friend of mine-I’m still doing OK. I think I’ve just resigned myself to it because of the headache and blurry vision I had at my appt and the fact that blood work was done no questions asked-it got slightly hectic there for a minute. But it could also just be job related stress (last 2 weeks of tax season and working 55-60 hour weeks will do that) and I’ve got everything crossed that’s it.

kookie3631 hopefully your BP settles, especially since you're still early in 3rd tri and having headaches and blurry vision. I had gestational hypertension last pregnancy, but it started at 36 weeks (which is just about where I am now, so I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop). Luckily, aside from swelling, I never had other symptoms. I was pulled from work at 37 weeks and ended up being induced at 39 weeks.

Jealous of those of you getting newer/bigger vehicles. Both of our cars are 10+ years old, having lots of issues, and are very small. H just got a bit of an inheritance from a relative and we used that to buy him a newer and bigger car, which made the most sense because he does daycare dropoff/pickup. My car is at the end of its life, and we need to hold out at least another year, maybe two, before we can replace mine.

I finally had to turn the temperature in our bedroom down. I get so hot at night and I throw off the covers, but H covers me back up in his sleep lol

Pulled out of work a week later and induced at 39 weeks after a super high BP. I'm hopeful I can avoid the high BP this time around, but like you, I'm just kind of waiting. Fingers crossed we both get by without it this time!

They've had me on the low dose aspirin regimen this time, and in general I've had a healthier pregnancy overall with less life stress (and I haven't had much swelling at all this time), so I'm very hopeful. I have my 36 week appt tomorrow, so we'll see! FX for you too!

I have 14 shifts left at my work! I still need to go talk to HR and knock off other stuff on my to-do list. But I managed to order a lot of stuff that we needed for the baby with my completion coupons. DH started criticizing my cart (that we didn't need everything) so I told him he could take over and he promptly changed his mind. He just doesn't want to know how much we spent overall. Late to the game, my last BMB that went to FB had 4-6 people that lived close by. We had playdates fairly often when they were little and even had a reunion not too long ago (DS is 5 now). A lot of people moved to and from, but I think there's 3 of us now. I also live near a big tourism spot, so I've met a few others due to that. lily, I think you might live somewhere close to me.

I developed it during labor with DD (was low 100s/60s the whole pregnancy- it came out of nowhere!). This time I spiked at 24 weeks. I've been really up and down since then, but they're watching it closely and doing labs as needed (plus NSTs/BPPs for other reasons). I totally feel you with the completely different pregnancies. I had no issues until delivery with DD. This time I have a circumvallate placenta, gestational hypertension and polyhydramnios. Plus a huge baby where DD was 5 pounds.. so I already have a c-section planned. Could not be more opposite. Every time I go in I add another diagnosis it seems. No advice from me but lots of empathy. Hope yours stays (relatively) under control!

Had the cervical check today and I'm 3cm dilated. That surprised me a little bit, but my OB reminded me that you can go weeks at that. And baby is head down. Yay! Hopefully he stays that way.

I had my ultrasound today and baby is head down and measuring in the 49th percentile. He also has a full head of hair, which I didn't realize they could see on the ultrasound, so I'll have another adorably hairy baby. We have a creepy pic of his face with his eyes open. Overall, seeing him really made me excited to have him on the outside!
She wanted to do GBS swab today, but I asked her to wait until next week since H and V were with me. I'll have them do a cervical check while I'm undressed next week to see where we stand, since I keep getting feedback from the docs and MWs that they think I'll be going sooner than my due date (not that the cervical check predicts too much).

I was at a 2.5 and 50% effaced for 3 weeks before I went into labor. It was such a tease because I was so done.

I kind of want to ask about hair at my next BPP (tomorrow? Monday? I’m sure I have at least one between now & delivery). Both my older two had a full head, so I’m sure she will, too.

I'm jealous of the ultrasounds! I haven't seen baby girl since my anatomy scan in January. My last one was mid December. With my son, there were some concerns, so I was having ultrasounds about every two weeks at this point. It was so weird not to have seen this baby in so long.

I was so excited when my office told me that they do one at 36 weeks standard just to check in before delivery.

This is a little mind-blowing to me, but would someone like to start a birth announcements and birth stories post? It’s happening soooon!
I could stalk some other BMBs to see what is usually included, but I thought some of you might have already seen some.

DH took DS out with some of his friends for lunch today, but forgot his house keys. When they were on their way back, I was laying down in the livingroom when the doorbell rang. So I shouted that it was open and it rang again. I still thought it was DH not hearing me so I shouted louder, "I'm too pregnant to get up!" But I did anyways and opened the door.
Did not even think about how we're getting packages from the registries delivered every day. My poor FedEx guy even offered to carry them inside. So awkward.

I have been feeling really ill the past two days. I'm pretty sure it's part autoimmune flareup and part late pregnancy, but my stomach feels off constantly and I'm so achey all over and tired. I barely slept last night, and all of my middle of the night thoughts were about going into labor early. I think they really spooked me at my appt yesterday, even though I do think I will make it at least a few more weeks.
