cagoldi, I'm sorry about all of that! How awful. Nothing wrong with asking to be induced at 39 weeks in my opinion!

Omg - this kid!! So getting on the table is her new favorite thing... Please ignore the mess that is my table. I guess at least she isn’t standing like yesterday. Although I don’t know this is any better. And when I told her no and went to get her down she pushed me away and said “shoo, shoo”. 😬 I think she must’ve picked that up from day care.

I think she'll go for it because the later i get in gestation, the more likely it is my SSB antibodies would cross the placenta and create a heart block. So, still unlikely to happen and nothing I'm concerned about at all, but I think it could be justified.

The office will be closed Friday, but dc will be open. I've decided Cadence can go to school and I'll have the day to myself. Mh is off, but he's going to go golf with his dad.

Chase weighed in at ~27lbs today. I swear he looks like such a butterball.
Colin was 29lbs at his 1 year appointment. Yeah... LOL.

I love when I tell my kid what's for dinner and she lays on the floor kicking and screaming because she doesn't want it. Awesome.

He refused a single bite and I told him no snacks. At bedtime I found him under the covers with a bag of cheese itz lol.

She ate 2 helpings of rice, though, so I'll let it slide.

I don't even know where she learned that word, but I hear it a lot. I just ignore her and eat my dinner, repeating 'NO SNACKS!'

cagoldi will they give you hydrocortisone suppositories? I also found an external cream that really soothes. It’s called Calmoseptine. It’s kind of like serious diaper rash cream with an analgesic to numb a bit. I’m sorry. And yes induce at 39 weeks!

He really did weigh that much according to the sheet.

tgrimes and sands42, I'll be sure to share. My sister's other daughter is 2 and only 5 months older than Lue and you'd never know, she was a huge baby and is pretty much as tall as C now! She has always looked way older than L.

I love when I tell my kid what's for dinner and she lays on the floor kicking and screaming because she doesn't want it. Awesome. Atticus is basically on a hunger strike the last ten days or so. Doesn't matter what it is, he refuses practically all meals. He's surviving on strawberries, applesauce, peas, carrots, tomatoes, and string cheese.

Poor X. Every time we brush his teeth, he gets so upset he vomits. I don't know what to do. I'll ask the pedi at his 18 month well-check Wednesday but it's probably just something he needs to grow out of. Do you know what upsets him about it? Can you try mimicking brushing with your finger so he gets used to it? Or just do the front teeth a few times till he’s comfortable?

He was a huge baby but has leveled off quite a bit since. I’m not sure what he’s at now.

Day one of zero screen time went pretty well. We did have one incident this afternoon but aside from that I’m pretty happy with how the day went. We will see how bedtime is, that’s usually one of the biggest battles of the day.

Not ideal but I don't know what else to try. I don't know what upsets him, just being held down I guess? We've tried singing, reading a book, having Pete do it while I rock him holding him upright, the talking toothbrushes, the itty bitty baby toothbrushes. I'm out of ideas, except that he still won't really drink from a cup and hardly eats any solids so maybe be it's a whole oral thing he has going on?

Know what a person with acid reflux shouldn't eat? Pork carnitas. Threw that up. Fun. I just want to go to bed now, but I have to do bedtime now. Joy.

cagoldi Is X still in a high chair? I strap J in and brush her teeth there after her bedtime snack/milk. I did it that way with B as well until he quit freaking out and understood why and how.

He is, and I considered this for a moment but I feel like I need to get his eating to improve so as not to scare him off from sitting at the table. We just did a super fast job on his teeth tonight and he didn't puke, so maybe we just need to go a couple seconds longer each time without allowing him to get too upset.

cagoldi maybe try giving him a toothbrush to play with. Brush stuffed animal teeth, pretend to brush your teeth, just let him manipulate it however he wants, but outside the bathroom, not in the time to brush your teeth scenario.

I’ve been busy. I brought everything I’ve purchase for the girls’ Easter baskets and loaded them up. There is no more room so I think I’m good. I also stuffed some eggs for hiding. Now I just have to keep the girls upstairs until after Sunday.

Hi all - I'm behind at work, so trying to be productive today. I reactivated class pass last night and went to a spin class.. they had a half price for 3 month promo and I am going to the beach in 3 weeks, so need to get myself in gear. Cher how's the peleton?! I saw in your IG stories and am so jealous! I love it! I do OTF in the morning before the kids wake up and the peloton once they go to bed. The little one is consuming every second of my life (hence my extended absence) so it’s amazing to have something I can do for myself and I don’t need to leave the house for it. And it’s not drinking! (But I still do that.) So glad it's working out! I so want one and hoping to make it happen at some point. While house hunting I sometimes see them in the listing shots and we laugh that it's a marketing ploy for suckers like me..
