It's a 4 day work week. That thought is what got me out of bed this morning.

I’m sore from my massage. I also don’t want to go deal with the stress at work. I wish I could run away (waddle quickly).

kam3100, massages always make me sore (I've only had 2 in my entire life). I hope it passes quickly.

I have been absolutely starving lately— baby must be going through a growth spurt. I convinced DH to get take-out fried chicken Friday night and delivery pizza Saturday and ate at least twice what I can normally eat. I weighed myself this morning and I am down a pound 😳
Viability day tomorrow, so excited....I think we might need to go out for sushi to celebrate!

I came in to work with an email from my development team stating that have fixed the performance issues. Such a relief! Now the true test remains.
Hope you all have a happy week!

This might be the most mondayist Monday ever. I'm not sleeping well and not feeling great today. I'm frustrated with work.
I do have an ob appt this afternoon so at least it's a short day.

Ugh, I’m just getting over a terribad cold as DD is getting in, just in time for the famdamnly coming over for Easter! It took me 5 days to feel normal, DD has 2 before the first wave shows up. I’m hoping she’s over it by this weekend because my brother and his fam (2.5yo and 4mo) stay with us for a few days. If DD isn’t better by Friday, I might tell them not to come...although their 2.5yo is in daycare and brings home the worst colds, so it might not deter them...heck, she might even bring her own over to share! Had our a/s yesterday, confirmed many, many times that it’s a boy. 3 crotch shots for our baby books (?). Seriously, what do you do with the crotch shots? As a loss mom, my anxiety was ramped up during the a/s. I was nervous about how many times she examined his head - was it misshapened? Was he missing lobes? MH reassured me this a/s was exactly like the last two, but god it was so hard so swallow that fear. My dr said no news is good news and I have a routine checkup on the 6th. I’ll have family to distract me until then so that’s a plus! Now if only the weather would cooperate...

I feel you on the hungry all the time, but I seem to have run out of room already. I can barely eat anything before I'm full. I couldn't finish a bowl of oatmeal last night... I usually could eat 1.5 times what I made. I blame baby being transverse and right at the top of my ute. Yay for V day!

Truer words were never spoken. I took DD to the playground today, and they're doing maintenance on the splash pads, so there are open holes for the drains and lots of machinery around, but it's gated off. Except for a 4 inch gap in the fence, which DD immediately bolts for, and dives through, giggling the whole time as I'm yelling stop, the workers are yelling stop. So then I got to wrangle 30lbs of screaming, flailing, angry toddler 6539 miles from the park to our car for not listening. All I want is for baby #2 to not be a runner like DD. I don't think I can handle it lol. Image isn't working, but it said "Parenting a toddler while pregnant is like being permanently hungover and trying to catch a honey badger."

I slept like crap last night and today my pelvic ass bones feel like they're trying to separate. Plus some lightning crotch. Today definitely IS a Monday.

We got out of the house for a bit and went on a hike. It's only 45 here but sunny so it was nice to get some fresh air. DS loves finding sticks wherever we go.

Motherhood has a ton of stuff 30-40% off, if anyone needs anything. I think I am set on maternity clothes now.

This time I’m having a much smaller shower at a restaurant, so I’m watching for the big things to be on sale because it’s most likely everyone else will want to bring smaller items to that setting. I’m not even including my registry with the invitations. My hosts will have it in case someone asks, but otherwise it’s a checklist for me.

It's tough because as of right now I'm having one shower, but there's a high chance my mom's Sunday School class will throw one also. They did when I got married. I've got a total of 60 things between Target & BBB, with several of those being multiple quantities. I think that's plenty of options for two showers? A fairly wide price range too. But $50 is a freaking great deal!

With my first, I bought my rock n play for $20 off Craigslist, ended up giving it to my daycare provider because she had never tried them And I thought it was a mus5 have for babies. With the second child, I found a new one at Burlington for $50. Looks like that’s the current price now, so may be a good back up if you don’t get one at your shower and Amazon’s price goes up.

Oh my gosh you guys, rock and plays are hard to find in Canada and when you do finally find one with auto rock it's $150. That price makes me want to weep. I really want one bc I just can't handle another Velcro baby but I haven't decided if I'm willing to pay that price.
I have alerts set up in case a used one pops up but I'm not holding my breath.

OB wants me to do PT for my hips. I also got a medication for sleep. She's hoping if my sleep improves, my mood will too. I just kind of feel blah, like not sad, but not happy either. I'm also supposed to get support belt. It was kind of an eventful appointment. Little man is doing well though.

But $50 is a freaking great deal! I bought the mamaroo we used with DD before my shower because I found it for about $60 off retail. I needed plenty of expensive stuff for the people who wanted to buy it and I didn’t want to end up paying full price myself if no one else bought it. That said, I got 2 rock n plays that I did not register for, so I feel like there’s a good chance someone else will buy that for you. Just make sure you’re registered for one that rocks itself—I’m told that’s a difference maker.

Being pregnant is hard enough without the blahs.

I tried PT for my hips with my first to no avail, with my second I found a chiropractor that used an activator adjusting tool and fixed my hips with one adjustment. DD was breech so I saw him regularly and she flipped before my induction and she slid out in record time (both things that might have been thanks to the adjustments, or not. Who knows?). Maybe try a chiropractor with prenatal experience if PT isn’t giving you the relief you need. I know I’ll be calling mine up when my hips start to act up again!

So I got a call this afternoon from the mail order pharmacy about a med that me OB is prescribing me to prevent preterm labor. They got the order on Friday. I haven't seen her in since last months visit and she never said anything about it. I was induced last time because my BP was creeping up so I chose an induction. I have an appointment in Wednesday so I plan on asking the midwife.
I hate taking meds if I don't need them.
