remi The symptom spotting is enough to drive anyone mad. I'm so sorry. I'm constantly going back to my older charts and comparing symptoms. I feel so crazy sometimes. And I kept telling myself I wouldn't do that this month. But of course I caved today. And I knew I shouldn't have even attempted POAS since I'm only 9DPO. Waiting is the absolute worst.

purple I’m so sorry you guys weren’t able to get good timing in this month. I totally feel you on the age thing. I saw this meme about how 30 is the new 60 when your TTC. It’s so true! It puts so much added pressure on us.

remi Sorry for the BFN. If it's any consolation I had a BFN at 11 DPO and a super faint positive at 12. So I would say it's just too early.

Tlex Sorry you and your H aren't on the same page and that your cycles aren't cooperating. Is you H still on board to keep trying or is he wanting to call it quits? I hope he can hang on long enough for you to get your BFP. I think sometimes we don't realize how our BFNs can feel like failures to our Hs every month too:/

purple I hear you on the age thing. That's exactly how I feel when our timing gets messed up. I had a new teacher at our school ask me how long I'd been teaching there. When I said 15 years I thought her eyes were going to pop out of her head. She said "wow...you look really young". I took it as a compliment but inside I was like...come on! How am I old enough for people to be telling me I look young for my age:/

wildhoney FF just did the same thing to me and put O on my +OPK day. I am pretty sure it's off by 2 days based on my temps...I read through everything and it seems it did that because I had a very very slight temp rise the next day (like barely higher at all) so it called that my temp rise EVEN THOUGH the next day it was followed by a HUGE dip and THEN a sustained temp rise...so I'm not sure what FF is thinking. It is so obvious for me O was CD 13 and not 11. But I totally feel your frustration!

I thought the temps had to be above coverline for them to count as part of the temp rise? I guess mine are, but barely! I wanted to override my chart, but that also really annoys me because then I would think about how FF might be right.

I think sometimes we don't realize how our BFNs can feel like failures to our Hs every month too:/ He's still on board and I think he'd be so excited if it did happen, he's just got so much going on with a new job that he's stressed to the max and not being himself in pretty much all areas of life. He's usually really laid back and chatty and right now he's terse and short fused. It's just a season of life, I know once work smooths out he'll be himself again. You're right that the BFNs are probably getting to him, too. I forget that a lot.

Anyone here an OPK expert analyzer? I usually turn them at least a little any day of my cycle, but I'm getting some darker than usual ones this week and of course allowing myself to get hopeful. In 10 months I've never had a truly positive OPK so this might be pointless? Natural light: Tweaked for contrast: I feel like day 1 and day 4 are the darkest which is extra confusing, all were taken exact same time of day after a hold. 🤷🏻♀️ Or is it silly to read into an OPK at all if it's not a true positive?

Tlex I just started OPKs this month, so I don’t think I’d be of much help. Have all of yours over the past 10 months been light like that? Could it be that your PCOS is causing them to look like that as far as your hormones go?

I felt sure I got my period overnight but so far haven’t gotten it. I took another test this morning and it was negative. So I’m just going to go with the fact that it’s not our month. I feel...heavy?...down there? Do you know what I mean? More swollen maybe? And I usually get that the first day of my period. I’ve been really bloated and just having my normal PMS symptoms. So ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Tlex I feel like the bottom one is definitely looking darker! Was that today? If so I'd keep testing. My lines always get progressively darker leading up to O. FX you turn one soon! Also I totally get what you mean about your H. SO gets like that about work too. He started a new job right when DD was born...so that was fun...

remi I definitely think it's a PCOS thing and I should step away from the OPKs altogether, but I just love POAS. Sigh! Sorry for another BFN, and yes I know the heavy feeling. I hate waiting on AF when you just know she's on her way. Let's get this over with, bitch. sammysam I think the bottom one is darkest too which is exciting, a little, because usually they're all exactly the same. But MH just turned down naptime sex due to stress so we'll see if we hit any good timing this month. ETA yes it was today

Tlex, I hope your H feels less stressed soon. H's stress at work is the reason why our timing was bad this month. Interesting that PCOS has such an effect. I was diagnosed when I was nineteen, but by the time we started ttc I had been on Metformin for three years. So I don't think PCOS has as much effect as it would otherwise. Certainly when I used OPKs I always had a clear positive. I'll be using them again from next month so we'll see. remi, I'm sorry about the bfn. Wine sounds like a Plan.

wildhoney Yes about the temps. Mine wasn't even 0.05 degrees higher...but the day before was a slight dip (less than 0.1 degrees) so I see why FF put O where it did. But it's totally wrong. I'm positive I O'd 2 days after FF said I did. I get tender breasts immediately after O so I always know when it is. I want to change it in FF too but I'm worried that FF has some magical insight that I'm missing.

Hey all. Reading and sending support to you all. I hope there are some BFPs coming soon.
We’re not “treating” this month (my RE’s terminology), and I’m trying to be chill about it. Failing at chill though cause i bought a box of OPKs and will start using them tomorrow.

Just reading and checking in. I do opks my second pee of the day. I have a long enough surge that I don't bother twice a day testing. My afternoon pee is so dilute that I get light tests, but the next morning they are dark again. So I stopped that.
Hoping everyone is feeling ok despite the stresses of ttc.

Ugh, my BBT has given me the exact same temp (97.12) 3 days in a row. Last night I took my temp a few times before bed to see if I was crazy and I got different numbers then this morning it was 97.12 again. I hate that there is no one great BBT out there. I paid like $25 for this one and so far it isn't any better than my $7 Mabis. Boooooo.
