I get this. My doctor said even with the cerclage, we could have sex, but we haven't done it a lot. But sometimes, just the smell of H when he gets out of the shower makes me want to jump him. Haha

Ugh, was supposed to have a dentist appointment today but I didn't realize that they required a medical authorization from my doctor. I was supposed to just get a cleaning and check-up, with no x-rays, but they still needed the authorization. Of course their next available appointment is several weeks out.

notmoose and klw clit vibrators or just manual stimulation? Not the same as actual sex with your husbands, but better than nothing.

I think that's so silly for just a cleaning, especially when one is past first tri.

I've never had that issue before and I wouldn't have been prepared my first time either. If dental care is so important during pregnancy, why make it more difficult??

Ok, I'm about to get very controversial in here. I just need to say it, Oatmeal is gross. Agreed. I normally like it but lately it’s been leaving a bad aftertaste. Woke up with a sore throat, wanted throat coat tea but heard it’s not approved for pregnancy so opted for chamomile and honey. 3 cups later I find out chamomile isn’t necessarily safe either?! I read red raspberry leaf tea is okay, but I had thought it was good for 3rd tri and labor? Anyone know teas? My dr is gone from the office and I’m drinking hot honey water and not particularly pleased.

God, I am so sorry! I’ve got the 2nd tri hornies, and it’s out of control some days. I’ve noticed my uterus gets rock hard after an orgasm for a few seconds. Hugs and cold showers!!

It's safe to drink during pregnancy but just keep in mind that it does contain small amounts of caffeine if you're keeping track of that.

This was me last time, but the doctor said it was ok this time. Maybe because my cerclage was down early on so my length is still good.

I hope you feel better pickles. As far as I know red raspberry leaf is okay in small doses 1st and 2nd tri and even encouraged my some midwives etc. but you are supposed to up your dosage in 3rd tri. I'm not a medical doctor and so take that for what it's worth (i.e., just a rando person on the internet). I second green tea with some honey and lemon, the caffeine amount is quite small.

Constipation has picked back up this week. Ugh. I think colace is going to be a daily pill for me along with my vitamin.

I was only taking one and it was helping a little but you can take more, if needed. This has become a daily practice for me...

pickles i think chamomile is ok. i've certainly had it while pregnant. my OB said herbal teas were fine so long as they weren't marketed as being medicinal (i.e., throat coat)-- also generally the "medicinal" ones have a warning label on them that says "avoid if you are pregnant are nursing". i drink various celestial seasonings herbal teas but avoid their medicinal line that says "herbal supplement" on the box.

H really bought in to the idea that it would help induce labor last time, so we went for it, a lot, even though I was huge....it didn't work.

I'm anxious to get home to DS today since it's his birthday. I worked extra hours so I could take a half day today and I have tomorrow off. It will be nice to have a long weekend.

goldenbird, fiber gummies every night help me out more than colace. May be something to try if the colace isn't doing the trick.

goldenbird I eat a big bowl of Raisin Bran once a day since becoming pregnant and it's helping me! DD learned about women carrying babies in Uganda at daycare (one of her teachers is going there to volunteer at an orphanage for 4 weeks) and so they have been wearing dolls on their backs. I unpacked the wraps I used when she was a baby and showed her lots of babywearing photos I took of her and myself and now I'm pretty excited to wear this new squish. I wore DD pretty much 24/7 as she was a high needs baby who had to be touching me at all times.

I’ve had constipation my whole life and it really helps me. Thanks for all the tea advice, I freaked myself out yesterday after drinking all that chamomile since there is so much conflicting info on the internet.

I am having the opposite of constipation. It was like this during 2nd/3rd tri with both previous pregnancies.
I have long suspected I have some kind of ibs though, so I've always blamed that.

I love the tula, but not really for at home doing stuff. I tried the ktan and didn't like it, it was hot and I felt it didn't have enough support. I've heard good things about the solly.

Solly is a good stretchy wrap. Have you looked into a woven wrap? They last longer than stretchies, and can be just as soft. I still wear DD at 2.5 years in my woven wrap every now and then. She was so sleepy for grocery shopping yesterday, so I wore her while I shopped. I can't wait to wrap a squish. I miss warm snuggly cuddles. Edit to add: hybrid wraps are a thing too, cross between a stretchy and a woven. Wrapsody makes them, as do a few others.

Is that the right term? Lol I'm open to anything, I just want something that I could do like household chores in while wearing baby. Like laundry, dishes, sweeping maybe? Both my kids were stage 5 clingers and had to be held 24/7, so I fully expect this one to follow their lead.
