I didn’t take my unisom last night, and didn’t fall asleep until about 1:30. I woke up at 5 to go the bathroom and never fully went back to sleep. It sucks most because V actually slept through the night, which he rarely does, so I could have gotten a lot of sleep if not for this stupid insomnia.

budders that's the worst! I still take Unisom nightly too so I can sleep! (Not that it always works)

armpants I’m so sorry but I think because I joined late I may have missed your story. Are you a surrogate? I am. I also haven't been around in a while, but I'm trying to post more.

We went to the zoo this morning and had a nice time. But now my kid is fighting nap like a champ. Sleep kid! Either way he's in bed for two hours.

Worked on the nursery for about 1.5-2 hours. It’s starting to come along. I need to buy some storage bins/baskets and my MIL is bringing a bunch of the decor I’m going to use next weekend. I have one more load of laundry to do and then all the laundry will be done and put away.
I also need to iron the curtains- so wrinkled.

If my DH tells me one more time how tired he is I’m going to lose it. Try being pregnant and waking up 5-6x a night to pee, not to mention all the times I have to readjust and switch sides.

I just nod in what I hope is a vaguely sympathetic manner when MH complains about being tired because I've found he doesn't respond well to STFU. But seriously, STFU. I can't remember the last time I slept more than a couple hours without waking up for something.

The baby settled in much lower today, and it's a nice feeling. I can breathe and my heartburn is much better, though my pelvic, hip and back pain have increased. I look about twice the size I did yesterday though, so not sure what he's up to in there.

So after being on a monitor at the hospital for pretty much nothing, BFF picked me up and we went to her place to work on baby shower stuff. I'm not allowed to know much but I insisted on being allowed to make some baby African violets to give as gifts. She's cutting up her huge bamboo to use as decor and gifts. I can't wait to see what all they're putting together lol, I'm not allowed downstairs at her place because she's apparently got stuff down there

I accidentally saw the invitation to my sprinkle at my bff's house. It's Harry Potter themed! Yessss. My sister and her GF do amazing things with parties. I'm super excited for it to happen!

I have literally felt hiccups in the lower abdomen and higher abdomen today. I thought by now if they move that much I would definitely know it. Is there still much room to move around at 34+ weeks?

You would definitely know if she’s flipped at this point I think. M flipped at 32w and it was the craziest feeling thing. There was no question something weird was going on and it took some time. My MW told me this kid is head down on Thursday and yesterday I felt hiccups right under my ribs. I think whichever way they’re kind of turned determines where you’ll feel them and the hiccups move their whole body.

Good to know. Last week I woke up to pee MOTN and I had a really weird feeling, almost like she was moving to a transverse position. It literally felt like she had her body stretched out across my stomach. But it wasn’t painful and I was able to go back to sleep so maybe not. I’m going to see if they will do a quick in room u/s on Wednesday when i go to the Dr just to verify.

Apparently, because this guy is all over the place. I think he was transverse today, but he's definitely been head up and down within the past week. I can feel him flipping.

okay ladies, don't do like I did tonight and go to a movie and sit in a D box. I was fine all the way up to the big fight, and then the vibrations started causing me to have really painful BH, like crying in pain. I had to get up and stand in the entryway until I had collected myself. They've settled down now, but my ute is definitely still sore. Definitely had a "duh" moment there...

At a destination wedding enjoying this amazing historical town this weekend. Feeling like an old lady in my flat shoes and wishing I could have a nap, but it’s so lovely. Really glad we came despite the 3 hour flight at 6am...

I’m so tired about hearing H complain. Now he’s telling me that his feet hurt. He has important stuff to do that he can sit down for (like taxes) but then stands around doing stuff that can wait or that he can sit down for (like watching his bagel toast). I’m seriously annoyed. Meanwhile, I have what must be a raging sinus infection and finally started taking antibiotics since I started going downhill again after feeling slightly better last week. I’m carrying a ton of extra pounds around, doing all of the invisible things that moms do, doing pick up and drop off at daycare every day no matter how shitty I feel (and with a very distracted toddler that won’t cooperate). I’m absolutely exhausted and work full time so I have little sympathy right now for H.

I’m finally getting this ready for this baby and going through DS1’s clothes. Because they are born on opposite seasons, I’m realizing that the the winter and summer stuff won’t be the right size. All those cute summer rompers will be too small and the cute winter stuff sizes will also not coincide with DS2’s age.

Had a good appointment today. The Dr tentatively set my date for my c-section. 37 weeks exactly, May 10. 7 weeks to go! Eek! We have the same RCS date!!! Eeek is right!

I mentioned it when I was at the hospital yesterday and was told that my response to them (slowing down/stopping what I'm doing) is what they'd normally say to do anyways. As for last night they started to ease off almost as soon as I stood up. Definitely will not be doing that again until after baby is here. After some tylenol last night and a good (though not long enough) sleep I have 0 soreness.

I'm laying on the couch watching my DD bounce around the house dancing while dressed like Owlette.
We are going to attempt Easter Bunny photos this morning at her request. But I don't see it going well.
I think the baby is transverse even though he was head down a few weeks ago. My bump looks more wide then sticking out than it had. And I'm feeling movements that feel like hands and feet at both sides of my ribs....and a hard lump right between my ribs thats maybe his butt? It's awfully uncomfortable and he's been suuuuper wiggly since last night. I hope he flips back around soon. We are going to do an ultrasound to check at my next appointment in 2 weeks.
Last night he was poking out different limbs and making my belly roll on the outside for like 20 min straight. It freaked my H out and it was hilarious. I'm like yeah...imagine all that but on the inside and can't move your ribs out of the way like you take your hand away. It's cool to feel baby move but omg sometimes it's just not a pleasant feeling!
