Today I've been really conscious about my eating. I've been trying to eat more and better just in case it will help the baby get bigger even a little bit. Dr Google said nutrition can be a factor so now I'm worried that I haven't eaten well enough. It's more likely it's just genetic plus my uterus, but we all tend to blame ourselves when things go wrong, right?

I filled the Easter eggs I'm going to hide for the boys with things like coins for DS#1, and those little pills that turn into fun shaped sponges in the bath for DS#2. I'm also hoping to find some cute tattoos to stick in a few. I'm so excited. Finding Easter eggs was one of my favorite things as a child.

My cat meows pretty much non stop when H goes to bed, so H has started putting the cat in the bathroom and closing the door. Apparently cat got mad today and pooped in the tub. H forgot to clean it up before he went to work. I want my after work shower!

It’s my dad’s birthday on St Paddy’s day so that usually overshadows any plans. After today, I have 6 weeks left of work until maternity leave. Holy...!

What day is St Patrick's Day? Haha. We also don't celebrate Easter but Passover is soon. I'm assuming we'll be invited to a family seder that some cousins always host so we will likely go to that. My parents are coming next Wed for a week so I'm super excited for that and then a couple days after we leave our friends are coming for 4 or 5 days. I think the rest of March is going to fly by.

I really need to get a move on Easter baskets for the minions. I have no idea what to do this time around. I think H & I are day dating next Saturday, so a wander around Target and a couple other shops may need to happen.

No plans for St. Patrick’s day. Easter we’ll do an egg hunt and lunch at my grandmother’s. That weekend is the start of our spring break too, so I’m really looking forward to getting past the next two weeks!

St Patrick’s is my wedding anniversary; my mom said she’d take DS for the day. We’ll probably do moving / new house stuff in the morning, an afternoon movie, then dinner out.
Easter we’ll go to mass then... either to my grandmother’s or DH’s grandmother’s for lunch. I can’t remember whose year it is.

O and I are getting our haircut Saturday. I'm pretty sure I'm getting my car detailed, too. Sunday we're celebrating MILs and BILs birthday. Nothing for St. Patrick's day this year. It used to be a huge drinking holiday in our lives which most of my memories of it blacked out, ah youth.
I ordered a couple things for his Easter basket after it came up on my other BMB this week. We haven't done any egg hunts with him in the past but I think I'll start it this year. Usually my sister, her GF, and our BFFs come to our house for Easter dinner but I'm not sure what the plan is this year. We also have breakfast at the ILs before heading to church together.

I’m taking it upon myself to eat more even though I’m gaining weight just fine because I can. Lol. I may or not be eating the “right” things though. But I’m trying. Solidarity fist bump.

We aren't doing anything this weekend. For Easter, I'm going to have family over for a brunch and then an egg hunt for the kids.

So, I thought two nights ago that I had food poisoning because after dinner I almost immediately got sick and had diarrhea all night. But I was fine by the next morning. Last night after dinner I had INTENSE pain in my upper abdomen. So bad that I almost went to the ER. I ended up vomiting and when I did it felt like my head was going to explode and I had the flashing lights in my vision.
After curling in a fetal position for an hour or so, Paul put me in the bathtub and it helped ease the pain and stress away.
I'm thinking that it might have been a gallbladder attack. I called the OBGYN and am waiting on a return call. I really hate pregnancy. I can't wait for the next 12 weeks to be over.

fatpony I hope it's nothing serious! Hopefully the OB has gotten back to you by now and they'll look into it for you.

Goodness fatpony that sounds awful. I know a few people who had terrible pain from gall bladder issues in third tri and they went away the minute baby came. Hope they can relieve it soon.

fatpony I had gallbladder attacks the last 4.5 months of my pregnancy with ds... they normally would have taken my GB out because it was so bad but the baby was too close to it already and it would have been super risky. I ended up have to be induced at 38 weeks and had my GB taken out the day after I had ds because i was so sick from it. I would push for them to do an ultrasound for gallstones. My OB was not very helpful with all of it and I had to keep going to the ER telling them I knew something was seriously wrong other than “normal pregnancy symptoms” I hope for your sake it’s not gallbladder but it would be worth looking into.

We already did our St. Patty parade. For Easter, we're going to a big egg hunt and we'll have a small one at home. The farmer's market has a little event for kids the day before and we always go to take pictures with a baby goat. Hopefully getting a bunny pic in this year, too. And random, I saw this and thought of the GTKY from last week:

Just postponed the maternity/family pictures we were supposed to do this weekend. I want to get them done but the weather currently sucks so bad. Hopefully things are better in a couple weeks and I don't start gaining weight in my face before then...

Maybe I’m in denial, they are very present in pics from my baby shower which I had at 33 weeks and I’m 31 weeks now.

I'm 33 weeks tomorrow and so far so good. I also haven't had much swelling this time (yet), whereas I was a balloon by 30 weeks last time. I need one good thing to balance out everything else!

Um, thanks?

Just scheduled my RCS for May 16. I guess a VBAC is out of the question, then.

Just scheduled my RCS for May 16. I guess a VBAC is out of the question, then. How come? Do you want a VBAC? I wanted to try a VBAC. I was given the stipulation at my first appointment that if I had another large baby that it wouldn't be an option due to a much higher chance of uterine rupture. They also won't induce me for similar reasons. The baby was measuring a week ahead at my last sonogram which would make her a bigger baby. If I go into labor before that date, they will still let me attempt.
