I just used my target registry coupon! I'm so excited! I ended up throwing a dock-a-tot on there because it was on sale and I've heard a lot of good things. Has anyone tried this or planning to?

I bought one to use this time around. I want to avoid the RnP this time and go straight to flat back sleeping and I’ve heard great things about it.

The baby has apparently lodged himself as high and as far to my right side as he can possibly go. It's so uncomfortable. My ribs on that side only feel all full of pressure and he keeps wiggling and making it worse. I'm afraid to eat my lunch because then I'll be even more full. Ugh.

However, I feel it will be a safer alternative in certain circumstances than what we did with DD. She was in the RnP quite early and if not there, she was on our the chest of myself of MH while we slept in bed. I intend to use the bassinet in our PnP first and then use the DAT as an adjunct sleep tool. We will see how it all plays out.

My BFF highly recommended the DAT. She used it with her baby last year, after he was too big for the RNP. I’m waiting on sleep stuff to see how this baby sleeps.

I was going to just wait and see what kind of sleeper he was but the sale + registry coupon + red card got me good.

My uncle said he is planning to give me his; my cousin is almost a year old and he said it’s been the greatest.

I’m hoping to do this too; we tried the first time, but V refused to sleep flat, and the only way I could get even a few hours at a time was in the RnP. I really hope this baby is a better sleeper and I can return the auto RnP we bought.

I got one for this baby and after I put it together and plugged it in, I yelled down to DH "come look at this sorcery!".

Pretty much anytime I eat or drink more than a few sips the baby gets hiccups which equals almost all the time.

So my feet and ankles are starting to swell but it’s mainly just my right foot/ankle. I have Dr appt tomorrow so I’ll ask then but anyone else with one side swelling more than the other?

itsmemeg my left foot has been swelling up just enough to feel stiff/be noticeable when I have flats on (vs sandals or boots) by the end of the day. My right foot hasn't swollen at all that I've noticed. Both hands swell slightly, though. I type at work all day and my office has been really warm lately. So I suspect that plays into the hand swelling. Last pregnancy my first indicator of pre-e was extreme swelling of both feet, ankles and hands a few days before my urine got flagged for protein. So I'm a little nervous even though I'm not to that extreme level yet. I plan to ask about it at my appointment next week unless it gets way worse between now and then.

itsmemeg one sided swelling can be due to the baby's position in your uterus. Just another fun thing we get to deal with.

I put together my son's new playhouse tonight. He loved it, would get out of it once he realized what it was. But I shouldn't have sat on the floor so long doing it. Really hoping I can find a comfortable position to sleep in tonight, so far no luck.

It’s so funny that you asked this, because I was actually just about to post the same thing. I was looking at my ankles in the mirror and my right one is swollen, but the left isn’t. It’s only slight swelling, so I’m not too concerned, but I think if one leg is significantly bigger than the other that’s usually something you want to let your doctor know about and follow up on (my doctor told me this is something to watch for). Let me know what your doctor says about it today!
