I had an NST this morning that resulted in an additional 3+ hours in monitoring & a biophysical ultrasound in L&D. Then came home & found that one of our dogs had diarrhea at some point while I was gone. So much for taking it easy. Her kennel is outside for H to hose out when he gets home, but I needed to bathe her.
So much for taking it easy.
But, I ordered pizza for dinner, and we’ve spent the last 2 hours curled up in my bed watching whatever shows caught our eye. H is finally on his way home & he’ll handle bedtime once he’s eaten & cleaned the dog cage.

Everything was eventually fine and I'm already under a bunch of extra monitoring to begin with, so nothing too crazy on top of what I have. I'll know more on Thursday, most likely.

Hi guys. I haven't had a chance to come over here in forever. Just got out of the busy season at work, but I still keep getting special claims and assignments.
I've been doing well, just exhausted trying to keep up with DS and get rest. I'm just over 27w and will have my RCS scheduled at my appointment next Monday! That really makes things real because tee intended parents will then make their travel arrangements.
I'm going to try and catch up and pop in a bit more. I hope everyone is doing wonderful!

lily with DS I felt awful during the 1 hour and failed it by almost 40 points. The 3 hour was much easier, getting to take small sips of water really helped, and I passed it easily. Fx you pass it!

I also failed the 1 hour, by a lot and passed the 3-hour with flying colors. I crashed hard afterwards though so make sure you bring something to eat immediately after.

Anyone else having Braxton Hicks often? I never really had any with ds but I’ve already started to have some this pregnancy, especially if I’m very active Constantly. It's so annoying and often uncomfortable.

Wearing maternity pants that just a month ago were way to big on me and now they are borderline too tight. I swear my ass and thighs have gained 10lbs in the last month.
And if people keep asking me how I’m feeling I’m going to go insane. My usual replies are “pregnant” and “fat and tired”. Hopefully they’ll take the hint.

I was at the grocery store after work on Sunday, when I was tired and sore and waddling. I got up to the cashier and he asks me how I am and I just looked at him lol. Like, you could clearly see me waddling and grimacing.

My response this week is "miserable" I feel miserable but I usually just say tired (which is also true). It limits follow up conversation usually. I have a bunch of CSE meetings today so I’m wearing a shirt dress because I wanted to wear leggings since I’m sitting almost all day (and it’s dressy). I’ve gotten so many compliments today about how cute I look and how much I’m glowing. I don’t feel that way at all, but I’ll take it.

I really didn't like my maternity jeans before and now I hate them. I'm so ready for it to be warm so I can wear dresses.
My students, K-2nd, ask every week if I've had my baby. I just look at them then look down at my belly.
My growth scan just got rescheduled to Friday morning because they're calling for 4-12" of snow tonight/tomorrow. Hopefully I'll just get to enjoy a snow day at home with O tomorrow. Maybe I'll finally get him out to play in the snow because it's never happened before due to a variety of reasons.

I’m sitting here impatiently waiting for my GTT results. The nurse yesterday said that they should have the results today but they haven’t been posted to my patient portal. UGH. I hate waiting.

Hi guys...I don't know if you remember me, I was posting around the beginning and then just kind of disappeared. I was feeling very overwhelmed with life in general, and also this pregnancy, so I just kind of fell off posting and majorly lurked. But now that I'm well into the 3rd trimester everything is feeling so much more REAL and life has calmed down some. I was hoping I could start posting with you guys again? I haven't read this whole thread yet, so I'm off to catch up and LT probably.
Exhausted today because the farm across the street from my house started up with their tractor in their orchard and vineyard this morning at 4:10am and it's right across from our bedroom window. They make bomb pie but I hate when they do this. I take it personally in my half awake, before dawn state. So tired. Need more sleep. I'm supposed to start training the person who will be filling in for my maternity leave this afternoon and I don't wanna.

I think I've caught a cold and every time I cough, my back and ribs hurt even more. I know I complain about back pain all the time, but I don't know how I'm going to make it through 7 more weeks especially working like this. I was practically crawling out of the hospital last night.
And I miss Motrin so much.

Thanks for all the encouragement! I take the 3 hour on Thursday morning. I’m worried I won’t make it the whole 3 hours without throwing up, but I guess I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.

lily, have you tried taking something to do? I usually leave the office after getting the draw & throw up. This last time, I took H’s iPad & watched Hulu for the hour. It went so much smoother than just watching the clock & counting down.

lily have you done he 3 hour before? Sorry I can’t remember if you’re a STM+. First time I was fine the whole way through. This time I was so damn close to throwing up I had gone to the bathroom but managed to breathe through it and then the next hour was so much better. Hope this is your experience too, if you feel sick from the drink at all.

I was doing alright on weight gain. Until Easter candy came out. I seriously have eaten so many Cadbury eggs this year.
I'm living in maternity maxi dresses and cardigans. The temp is going to drop again the next few days and I'm not happy about it.

numbears I'm sorry for your back pain. Do you wear a brace at work? Is there a PT at the hospital who could help you tape yourself up for extra support? I've been dealing with back and hip pain myself and it's miserable.

tinyjoys adeline I’ve never done the 3 hour before. Last pregnancy I passed the 1 hour just fine. I brought some homework to the one hour; I’ll probably do the same to the 3hr, but bring headphones just in case watching tv on my tablet is a better distraction. Thanks for the tips! My dad is babysitting so I don’t have to entertain DS the whole time, thank goodness.
