Randall's birth mom def died before William took him to the firehouse and I'm pretty sure she overdosed, which caused William to stop using. Right? Or did I make that up? This is what I thought too

I also remember William's wife dying and that was why he gave Randall up. I think they alluded to it in the season 1 episode that featured their love story/how they got into drugs initially.

I think she died during childbirth because otherwise how would Randall have the same birthday as the others if it wasn’t all the same day?

My immediate thought was that is depressed because they could not have a child and/or something about his brother. We still don't really know what's up with him right? Just that he would not come to the wedding.
I'm wondering if Jack actually knew his brother died or if he was just MIA and Kevin is going to find him.
Beth's worst case scenario was Deja killing them both and Randall's was that Deja would go to jail. I'm... not optimistic about who Randall and Tess were talking about but at the same time I think we are supposed to assume it's Deja in jail and so it is not. I'm utterly confused.

I always assumed he might not have been born on the actual same day, but more so that Jack and Rebecca treated him as being born the same day. Him being dropped off at the fire station, no one would know is actual birth date. I imagine it was fairly close though.

I just watched and think I'll need to watch again
When Tess and Randall were talking about not being ready, I assumed it was about Deja. I just pictured a falling out after smashing the car, new placement, etc, and they were finally reaching out to reconnect. It's probably much more sinister though

I'm late watching, but I don't think they will have Randall and Beth split. That seems like it would be so against what they've showed of their relationship so far. I do think it will have something to do with Deja and Beth. I don't think Deja ends up in prison though because why would it be so long afterwards?

Because people generally go to prison for life for murder... So they waited all those years to go see her? I'm still not sold on what happened. I believe one theory is that Deja killed Beth so it is conceivable that it has taken them a long time for them to go see her.

Because people generally go to prison for life for murder... So they waited all those years to go see her? They may not have waited this long to see her. Maybe they visit her once a month or once every few months, but it makes sense that it would always be a hard thing for them and not something they really look forward to. Though I really really hope this theory isn't correct...
