Great episode. Loved when Kate said to Rebecca āYou arenāt in my way. You ARE my way.ā So good. I really love watching the adult actors and picturing them as the teen actors; trying to find pieces of the kids in them. Adult Kate really does resemble teen Kate a lot.
If Beth dies, I donāt know if Iāll survive. She is everything on this show. She canāt die. No no no!!

Iām a little annoyed at the whole Deja hating everyone again. I kind of feel like, we already did that story. What was the point of the entire last year? I mean, I get her hating everything right now, I really do, but I just am bored of it already. Iāve seen it already.

It was Jack's screwdriver. I missed that!

I'd be kind of pissy too if my mom told a judge she wanted to sign all her rights away to me. Yes, Deja's mother was doing the right thing realizing her daughter need a stable environment to be raised in but that still has to hurt as a kid.

Haven't read the thread. Finishing episode. But cue tears when Jack gives his pep talk to Kate and calls her Katie girl.

I wonder if Toby's depression is due to infertility or another miscarriage.
I immediately thought Randall and Tess would be visiting Deja in jail or possibly picking her up from jail, but I could see it being something to do with Beth too. Maybe it's saying goodbye to Rebecca for the last time?

During Kevin's speech, I let out a breath right along with them. I think Rebecca should have let Kate wear her necklace for the something old.

I feel like Deja being in jail would be a real negative storyline. Like foster kids aren't worth helping. I don't see it.
Beth dying of cancer I can see especially if it is in the future so they are able to tell her story for a while.

I really hope itās not Deja in jail.
Although I really hope itās not Rebecca or Beth.
NO ONE ELSE CAN DIE!

I don't know, Randall doesn't look old enough in those scenes for them to have Beth dying IMO.

I actually kind of hope it is Rebecca. That would be best-case scenario. She lived a long life, and she's old af and dying now. How it's "supposed" to be.

I used to ask my dad if I could marry him too. He died when I was 20 and long before I met DH. I am in a puddle. <iframe width="36.07999999999993" height="2.9200000000000017" style="position: absolute; width: 36.08px; height: 2.92px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 0px; top: 0px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_93042010" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="36.07999999999993" height="2.9200000000000017" style="position: absolute; width: 36.08px; height: 2.92px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 1727px; top: -106px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_11490094" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="36.07999999999993" height="2.9200000000000017" style="position: absolute; width: 36.08px; height: 2.92px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 10px; top: -13px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_61645315" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="36.07999999999993" height="2.9200000000000017" style="position: absolute; width: 36.08px; height: 2.92px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 1727px; top: -13px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_27776911" scrolling="no"></iframe> it is why I haven't fully watched yet. I'm not even married and all I think about is that my dad doesn't get to walk me down the aisle if we decide to do it.

Speaking of walking down the aisle, I thought it was weird that Kevin & Randall were walking behind Kate. I expected them arm in arm...in arm.

I have never seen a bride walk down the aisle that way but it was kinda like nobody was giving her away, but her brothers were backing her and/or her decision.

I was kind of confused with the ending. Meaning, I didnāt like it. The last scene was Bethās sister saying to Kevin āIāve always liked a good toast.ā Obviously they get together because of the clips they showed of them in the airplane and him kissing her on the head. I just feel like to end the season with a random line from a characterās very first episode was....weird? I thought they could have just ended it with all those flash forwards and clips of everyone dancing at the wedding.

So I guess it's not that big of a deal.

I am surprised that Shauna moved to terminate her parental rights. Obviously I don't know the laws in whatever state they are in, but couldn't they have just worked out a guardianship/custody agreement? Even if it wouldn't have changed the situation for Deja, that is a harsh thing to hear your mother say.

MH thinks that Tess and Annie had a falling out and that's who she's going to "see" at the end. I think it has to do with Beth. I don't want it to because I love everything about Beth and Randall and I don't want her to die. My gut was that the Deja thing causes a rift between Beth and Randall and they end up divorced and fighting or something and Tess take Randall's side (and maybe Annie takes Beth?). I need people be alive!!
I thought the comment about being Randall's kids was going to make Deja feel happy and part of the family. I definitely didn't see it making her rage. That threw me.

Flame free confession - is it wrong that if someone in Randallās family ends up dying, I rather it be one of the kids (Annie or Deja) than Beth? Lol I mean, in REAL LIFE I would never ever wish for that. In TV land where Beth is one of my favorite characters, that is my wish.

I think if Beth dies I will be done watching the show. What is the point in watching really sad stuff every week? I'm already starting to feel that way now, and that would put me over the edge.

Of course, it's all just theories at this point, but my feeling is that the "her" Randall is telling Tess to go see isn't Beth. I don't read too much into Beth not being there in that scene, because when Randall was describing the future, he described it as just him going to dinner with Tess, not both of them, so that's why Beth isn't there.
I would lean toward it being something with Deja, and my first thought was Deja in prison, too. It would absolutely be a crappy way for the show to handle foster kids, but I'm not overall impressed by how they've handled that since Deja joined the show, so it wouldn't shock me too much.

My thoughts will change weekly Iām sure, but right now Iām thinking itās Annie. I think Deja will be fine. They will help her, but it will be slow. But in trying so hard to to help her, Annie will fall between the cracks. Gah, I donāt know! I just feel like Tess and Annie have a big falling out, maybe Annie starts experimenting with drugs...
Possibilities are endless really. These damn producers really did want us to play āworst case scenarioā and are probably laughing at all the theories
