I got maybe two hours of sleep last night, so I’m gently trying to convince DS that he doesn’t want to sleep all day so he will be more tired at night. With limited success.

My brother, who is in town for his spring break, visited this afternoon.  It was his first time meeting the baby <3

Papa cuts the kids fingernails in our house, he hasn’t been home 24 hours and already cut the baby’s. He’ll cut the bigs later. My kids need their nails cut like once a week.

Unfortunately, I am not comfortable with the baby in the bed with me.

I got her to sleep (finally) and I put her down in the rock n play so I could shower (date night requires a shower, even if it is a hockey game) and she slept through the shower without crying. As I was putting on my makeup I heard her making sounds and I snuck over and saw her eyes were open but she wasn't crying so I left her. I finished putting on my make up and went back over and SHE WAS BACK ASLEEP!!! She put herself to sleep without crying and without being held! I would do cartwheels if I knew how...

And I don't know how to do cartwheels either.  I think if I tried, I would break a bone or pull some kind of muscle.

H just took an epic 3.5hr nap 😳. I don’t think DD1 has ever taken a 3.5hr nap in her whole life!! Poor little baby desperately needed it. She has not napped well the past few days because she kept waking herself up coughing. She didn’t cough once that entire nap so I think she’s officially almost over it!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

We finally have some new iron supplements. They are called feromax (polysacharide iron complex) and are powder that we have to mix with water. So far she happily takes them, but time will tell if they are nicer on her stomach.

Liv loved the tub!!!! And the entire experience wore her out. It's 8pm. Should I try to put her in the bassinet now? I'm not even sure. Swaddle sack??

DS2 did good first day of daycare but has been passed out since he got home. I need him to be awake for a bit so he sleeps tonight.

L has been taking good naps all day, Fx it doesn’t bite me in the ass later.

+1 yellow711 this is a good way to also nap.

+1 I haven’t done his much with S but wirh DD I used to lay her in bed with me all the time. I took the boppy & put it under her feet so the “U” shape wrapped around her legs & ended under her armpits & kept her from rolling.

Date night was a success! We won the hockey game and Faith didn't give my sister any problems! She fussed a little bit but was generally calm and slept on my sister, in the RNP and ate twice.

When we went to pick her up I didn't even get a chance to hold her, DH immediately picked her up to cuddle her . We are now home and he still has her. lmao She'll need to eat eventually and I'll get a chance...

Update : we got 40 min in and she FTFO over the swaddle. Nursing again and this time she's in a regular fleece sleep sack.

.. I forgot to post this earlier ^^^. MH got her to sleep while I fell asleep. But she just ate so. 🤷‍♀️
