pinkcat, a group of friends I met through HIH were talking about this last night when one of us saw the article. I am so heartbroken for you and all of those affected. It is beyond horrible. I am so so so sorry. I know I don't have the right words but please just know I'm thinking of you and sending love.

I had to hold DD after supper to get her to nap, but I just successfully set her on the bed beside me. My back is thanking me greatly for setting her down and laying down beside her.  |

Did anyone have a YI after delivery? I think that's what might be plaguing me. It's not thrush in that I don't see it in her mouth and I don't see/feel it on my nipples so if it is yeast, it could be worse? Idk.
I had it so easy with DD1s recovery other than you know. The basics. This time I feel like there's so much.

sunfrogger I didn’t have a YI but I was itchy after about a week. I figured it was from the pad and from the healing process. It eventually went away without intervention. I just made sure I stayed clean down there

Not caught up but I have an ingrown hair or zit on my labia. Really? I am so uncomfortable and have to walk weird. I feel like I’ve gotten one before but I obviously blocked it out. I guess I just let it run its course? TMI alert, but I get those sometimes... I try to pop them in the shower when I have hot water running over the area and the pore is opened up... I've never had one get infected doing that (knock on wood) and it is a lot more comfortable afterwards... |

Hi all!
I have had quite the day. My sisters ILs house burned down today. My sister and her husband live on the same tiny piece of property behind their house. They lost everything and my sister has no power.
TW: pet loss
My sisters ILs had 6 cats. They lost 3 of them in the fire. 2 survived and one cat is missing. He is an indoor/outdoor cat so he may have just wandered off.
End TW
I went to the house to bring them some coffee while they board everything up. My sil and I also took as much as we could from my sister fridge and freezer so that she doesn’t lose it all.
I am so sad for all of them.

We lost our house in a fire when I was in 5th grade. It's such a helpless feeling to lose most of your belongings (and any pets) and allow yourself to depend on others for awhile. I’m so sorry pinkcat. I’m sorry for your loss bassamarygracerich I’m so sorry for your sisters IL’s. A lot of times H says they find cats later on because their instinct is to hide. |

Thank you guys. I am so sad for them. They of course are most upset about their pets. The two that survived are at the vets office for observation over night. The one cat is still missing. We are truly hoping that he was not in the house at the time of the fire. They left food out for him and he has a heated house. The neighbor gave them an extension cord for the heated house and my sister turtle tank. Hopefully he comes back.

Thank you so much helloerrbody rebeccabunch kbw kyzo maddisonrose amesie and everyone else! I appreciate it. We have a call with our RE this afternoon to figure out what our next steps should be. Having the 4 frozen embroyos gave us so much comfort because it felt like we had some time before we needed to start thinking about baby #2, but now we are going to feel like the clock is ticking and we'll have to start planning something soon. And the stories I've seen from other couples affected are sooooo sad- so many families are heartbroken. I feel grateful that we already have DS. Thanks again for all the hugs! I'm so sorry marygracerich- that is terrible! I hope they find the kitty soon. |

I think I'm seeing some stitches come out when I wipe after using the bathroom. I'm 4w pp, I thought they would have dissolved by now?
