Happy Friday! It is Fri, right? Anything spectacular going on?

Hi!
Yes it’s Friday for most people. For me it feels like Thursday because MH works tomorrow.
We are up, fed and dressed. G will be getting on the bus in about 40 minutes so I have to do her hair and such.
My niece and nephews want to go into the city this evening. I may go with them and leave MH with the kids. He has a test to study for anyway.

I've had a fever off and on since Monday so I'll be going to the clinic. I just hope it's something they can treat and don't tell me it's viral and send me on my way.

So the other night was probably a fluke bc he was sick. Last night he was up twice & super noisy/hard to settle all night. His congestion sounds better though & I think it’s in his throat now & not his nose bc when I did saline & the snot sucker nothing came out.

Tonight we have a formal dinner for H’s squadron!! I’m so excited. Got my pretty dress & im going out today to get shoes & stuff. I need a “night off” lol.

I feel like a million dollars!

My mom spent the night last night and did all the overnight feedings. I slept from 10p to 6a. I am so grateful of my mom!

I have MOPS this morning and I’m really excited to see my table and send DS1 to the childcare for 2 hours. I’ll just keep Baby with me and nurse him and wear him as needed. The weather is supposed to be good today so we’ll probably do the park or a walk after nap.

Teething continues here at our house (toddler of course, not baby)! Last night was a little better with Tylenol though. V has already settled into a solid sleeping pattern which is nice.
DH and I will have a lunch date with baby to a yummy Latin American restaurant. He works from home on Fridays but can get away. His day is usually quite relaxed. I already am looking at the menu to see what I want to order. We don't eat out often but his work gave us a huge gc to this place so we can go for a few lunches, which is awesome!!

I was thinking of going to forest school this morning but yesterday when we went to play in the snow DD refused to walk in it. She wanted to be carried and I already have the baby in the carrier. So no thanks to driving thirty minutes with a chance that DD won't participate at all.

I'm thinking maybe we will do the library instead but for now she's playing independently while I attempt to get this baby to sleep.

Anyone’s baby have super dry skin on their ears? From the chest down her skin is great. Her neck is rashy or maybe baby acne, I assume just because she spits up alllll the time. Her face is covered in baby acne, and her cheeks are dry. But her ears are absurdly dry. Like almost crusty. I’m using a protective balm on them (like aquaphor) but it doesn’t seem to be helping. She looks like a greasy teenager.

Not caught up but I have an ingrown hair or zit on my labia. Really? I am so uncomfortable and have to walk weird. I feel like I’ve gotten one before but I obviously blocked it out. I guess I just let it run its course?

Me too sarahh! I noticed it in the shower yesterday. wtf? I just plan on leaving it alone. I have a couple others on my upper inner thigh too. yuck.

Ugh, a bad Friday here....word vomit ahead.

We did IVF and had 4 embroyos frozen. Last night I saw an article on Facebook from our local news that a freezer issue at the hospital caused hundreds of embryos to be compromised. I called this AM and ours were affected and may no longer be viable. I am so upset...those were DS's future siblings. I am angry I found out on Facebook... I'm so sad about having to go through whole IVF process again...and I'm so sad about those 4 embryos. Article below, ughhhh. 😭

I have done some cleaning already. I am about to put in my second load of laundry.
My stepmom and little brother are coming over to bring us lunch. I am pretty excited by that. Is lonely at my house.

My grandfather passed away two days ago. He had been asking to die for a little while, so while it is sad, I suppose it is a relief that he finally has the peace he wanted.

It’s been interesting telling DD1 about it. She has suggested we get him some medicine and that maybe we’d see him again soon. Permanence is not yet grasped.
