My cycles are usually 30 days on average, so I guess semi-unpredictable? I have not been temping yet. I wanted to add in things to what I've already been doing slowly. I've been doing the calendar tracking and monitoring CM and cervical changes. So I added OPKs this month and if I don't get pregnant this month I will add in temping.

remi I always stop once they show negative again. There's no reason to keep using them once O has passed. So glad your timing was so good!

Getting annoyed with OPKs, can you just be positive please? That’s super frustrating. What time at night are you taking them?

Do you guys still take the OPKs until you get your period? I took another last night and it was negative. I've never heard of doing this. Can I ask why? Sorry I never responded earlier! I’ve been reading stuff online and some women had surges after they had already had a positive. It was just based on forums and those were from 2011, lol. So I just wanted to be sure I checked here because I didn’t think that made sense.

I usually test twice a day when I see my line start to get darker...only because I've missed my positive before only testing in the morning.

I've been taking them with FMU (I've always done it and have gotten positives, but I have heard about the SMU being better). Then I take one in the evening, somewhere between 4 and 7 usually. I'm not really sure how much cycles will be, I've only had 2 since I had my arm implant (Nexplanon) taken out. My last cycle was 30 days. I think next month I will use my clear blue monitor, see if i can get a better handle on it. I'm definelty not temping for a few more cycles at the very least, that would really clue in DH about ttcing, haha.

mara005 I always got positives with FMU and never tested more than once. Until I tested on a whim one night since I was sure it should be positive. And it was. Next morning it was negative again. So I do twice a day during my FW now. Cycles get wonky sometime. I have short cycles and normally get my positive by CD 10. A couple of cycle ago I didn't get it until CD 20. It's frustrating but hopefully your positive will come soon:)
