tincupchalice are you using a pattern for post-partum pads? I'm going to need to make some for myself in a few months.

Dramaphile I'm using Sweet Dragon's 16" gusseted shell for immediate post partum, then I'll be able to switch to my usual stash. The pattern is free if you join sewing cloth menstrual pads on facebook.

tincupchalice Are you happy with the cloth pads? Are they a big pain to wash and keep usable? My period is crazy heavy and I'm spending a fortune on disposable pads. Tampons and the cup aren't an option for me. I've tried both multiple times.

Dramaphile, Yeah I had a lot of issues with the disposable pads after my second, I'm determined not to go through that again! enchanted, Normally I use a cup and just have the pads for backups and lighter days, but I know a lot of people with heavy flows have had success with cloth pads. The upkeep is NBD for me at all, but I'm also cloth diapering so it all gets thrown in together.
