The playspace was fun but of course Em freaked out leaving so that was exhausting.
She's napping now and I'm really hoping when she wakes up my H can watch her for a bit so I can get a bath and maybe nap.
I seriously don't know how to make her listen anymore.

I just booked myself a massage for Friday and I can. not. wait! I have Wed-next Mon off from work as a little staycation/relaxation/nesting treat. Being productive today and tomorrow will be a challenge.

The sciatic pain in my leg has eased up a bit but pretty much any walking hurts and I feel so sore in my pelvis. And so much pressure.

DH had the day off so we spent the morning at Disney. We're trying to be intentional about getting in a fun outings with DS before the baby gets here, just enjoying and soaking up our last weekends as a family of three.
I took off my rings yesterday. They'd been stuck for a week or two, so when I managed to get them off last night I figured it was time. I ordered a cheap CZ fakey off Amazon because I feel weird having nothing there. Pregnancy emotions are weird.

leatherpants and ArielMermaid add me to the feeling like an old lady club. I want to cry every morning when I get dressed and I feel like I move at the pace of a snail half the time. I am not sure if what I have is SPD, but I am pretty sure it is based on what I have read. My SPD is totally self diagnosed. But it feels pretty unmistakable. Getting dressed is a feat in itself. I’m sorry:(

I’m a little nervous that DS is getting sick. He started out with a runny nose and cough, but the worrying part is that he’s asked to go bed both last night and today at nap. Said his tummy hurts...
I feel like the jaws music is playing in the background of my life

Baby’s room is basically done! With the exception of the wall decor we started at my parents’ and they finished up recently. They were supposed to bring it when they visited last weekend, but they both got sick so they didn’t come. But we got most everything put away and organized and it’s looking really good! I love coming in here and sitting. And we have narrowed it down to 6 potential names. Which is huge since up until last night we each had our own lists that were not the same at all. I’m feeling a little more prepared now. It seems so surreal to be 38+ weeks. Like we’re going to have a baby soon. How did this happen. I can’t figure out my emotions.

I love DD but as is being such a toddler lately. She’ll listen/behave for every one but me. I know this is normal but it feels very very personal and I don’t have the patience for it. I can’t believe it’s so easy for a 2yo to hurt my feelings 😂

Welp my co-worker that came in this morning was diagnosed with the flu. I'm lysoling everything in our office and crossing all the things it doesn't spread.

katietopaz j love that you’re doing special outings with your DS! That’s my plan for the 3w I’m taking off before my due date. I know I’ll be miserably pregnant, but I want some extra special time with my girl before she becomes a big sister! H and I only have 1 day off together (Sundays) so it’s hard to get everything we want to done in 24hrs😕

That's so exciting clementine! I have the last of the nursery decor being delivered tomorrow and then the decor will be done. I can't wait to be done. I already love going in there and it looks so much different from how it was for DD1. I'll wash a few outfits this weekend but I'm leaving the rest of the clothes and putting away things for when I'm done with work in a few weeks.

Today was a very long day. I have plenty of stories and complaints. But meh.
Instead I’ll just sit here on the “everything hurts” bench with the rest of you.

But. Can I just say that there should be a ban on spouses getting sick during the last month of pregnancy?
Like, I’m the one who is supposed to be resting, not taking on double parent duty. Kthanks.

Mark this day on the calendar. I just bought a box of diapers. I have the opposite problem. I keep buying them when Target does the gift card offers. Mh cut me off now that I counted and realized I have 4 months worth of diapers.

We have so many that we don’t have room to store them 😳 I don’t even know how many boxes of each size is realistic to have.

Mh cut me off now that I counted and realized I have 4 months worth of diapers. This will be the best thing you’ve ever done. I’d rather have to exchange/return diapers than risk running out. And spreading out the cost makes it that much easier.

And because I promised... here’s my nursery. proofed that disaster
I’ve had to contain my nesting urge to reorganizing the kitchen and pantry 18,000 times.

...I cant seem to buy any pads or tucks bc I’m afraid I’ll jinx myself into being severely over due. This is also why I couldn’t force myself to actually pack a hospital bag last time until we were on the way to the hospital.

Welp leatherpants it looks like your SO has a lot of work to do in there. Is that all the extra stuff that he moved with? Is getting a small storage unit feasible? Or do you just want it totally gone?

Or do you just want it totally gone? It’s pretty much his stuff that will go in the basement and then stuff we aren’t using right now. Like baby gear. So once the basement is done or done enough - it will go downstairs. And baby will just live in our room for time being ... and I just don’t open the door to that room. Like ever.

Yeah with DD1 we got 6+ months worth of diapers at our pamper party and it was so nice not to have to worry about buying them. And it was easy enough to exchange sizes as needed. And since we are going down to one income I wanted to stock up.

Omg leatherpants. That was our office closet until I went through all the baby things we had stored in there. It will be such a relief once it's gone but I'm sure it's stressful to look at.
