Morning! Dh is making Dutch babies and bacon for breakfast and I’m drinking coffee and nursing the babe.
Has anyone seen black panther? Dh really wants to go and take the older boys (o already vetoed him taking Ryland) is it scary/violent/super inappropriate or would it be ok for them? Either way I think I’ll take Charlotte and Ryland to see Peter rabbit while they do that. I’ve heard BP is really good but I just can’t get into the superhero movies and I’d rather watch a talking bunny!

Today was my sleep in day and o slept until 9:30. It was my first pain free night in weeks and even though I’m in pain now, it’s easier to tolerate when rested . Today we are going to my Aunts for lunch. She’s having her sisters and ally he female cousins and kids come over. It’s weird. I don’t get the whole female only thing. They did this once over the summer but it was at another Aunts who has a pool so it was tolerable. I except a lot of family gossip today. And my mom is making me drive so she can drink. This could get ugly!

chrisy01 we’ve watched some of the NPH show. But I’ve never seen Once upon a Time! Definitely will try that. Omg wedding klong11 I tried to watch The Fall but it was too scary for me since MH is never home. I will try the others you suggested! I haven’t seen them. Definitely want to try Parenthood. I’ve heard good things!

xolastunicornxo@ we saw Black Panther at an early showing yesterday. Madison can handle anything and was fine. She loved the music and action. Cass gets oddly scared at random things (was freaking at an episode of MLP with some dark scary ponies) but was fine and never scared. She got bored though because it was looooong. They keep making super hero movies longer and longer. Still good but even too long for me. She kept being loud so I finally gave her my phone to play Mah-jong for the rest of it.

xolastunicornxo it was good and I think the older two can handle it. I was going to bring M, but he wanted to stay with MH at work. Now that I’ve seen it, I go back and forth with wanting to, not wanting to bring him. I just hope he stays interested if I do bring him.

MH got up either M2 this morning and let me sleep in. They don’t know I’m up yet. I need to get moving because I never made it to the grocery store yesterday and dinner is supposed to be a crockpot meal. That may or may not happen...

tallb I thought you got your haircut this week? Do you not like it? I did! It was just a trim so barely noticeable, but way too curly the way she styled it. I washed it yesterday and let it air dry and it's better now, more wave than I used to have but not super curly. So I guess I'm kind of mediocre on it? Thanks for asking! I'd post pix if I could figure out how to. |

You guys. I need like 6 more hours to purge my house! I keep finding things I want to get rid of while nobody is here to stop me. I have the epilepsy foundation scheduled to pick up everything tmrw but i don’t have enough time today! I may end up with tomorrow off since it’s Presidents’ Day so I’ll just keep taking stuff out to the curb until they show up.

Morning. I woke up feeling much less sore than yesterday. Only an hour until I can remove the bandages and take a shower. DH went and got donuts for breakfast that were enormous. I have to work this afternoon again.

My child has managed to get the iPad disabled. It keeps saying to try again in 15 min. But an hour later still doesn’t work. I may need to google. 🤨

I made them a lot in the summer with blackberries and powdered sugar. I have seen some vegan recipes but I'm dubious. I think that is one dish that can't be replicated well. I should probably still try to experiment though. |

We're checking out all the updates they made. Ohhh, this sounds fun! I will occasionally drive by the house I grew up in to try and catch a glimpse. Never been inside though. The last house MH and I lived in for 3 years before we bought our current house was owned by our Park. We paid cheap rent through payroll deduction. It was amazing, right on the river, and very cool, older style house. I loved it there! One day an old man was stopped in a truck outside of it, so I went out to see if he needed something. We were the only house down there. Turns out he was the old ferry operator (there was a ferry crossing about a quarter mile from the house, although not in operation any more) and he had built the house! He started asking me questions about it so I invited him in to see it. He was in tears telling me about it. It was so sweet. He hugged me as he left and thanked me for allowing him in. It warned my heart. I also had the opportunity to ask him a few questions about the place. It was a great moment. He ended up passing away a few weeks later. I was so glad to have met him (he was kind of a legend in our town but we had never met him) and for him to get to see the place. |

I’ve never seen those! We eat pancakes with powdered sugar, regular sugar or syrup. Often we make some that have apples, nuts or bacon baked into them. They look like these  We also have poffertjes, a bit like a fluffy miniature pancake. You eat these with powdered sugar and butter.  |
