It took A 15 mins to fall asleep last night. 🙌🏼 Then he only woke up a little after 12 and close to 6am and I fed him both times. And I’m not entirely sure when he woke up, because he was awake and quiet in his crib when I woke up at 8am! ETA: He really seems to like to sleep on his stomach now. Makes me nervous, but glad he’s sleeping. That’s amazing! I’m so excited for you!! I was so nervous the first few times I put N on his stomach to sleep, but I did it last night and idk if it was bc I was so tired but I suddenly wasn’t worried anymore. Of course DH used to be the chill one and this morning he was like I was so worried when I saw you put him on his tummy. It was cute and then I started worrying again. Damn SIDS. Yeah even the sleep sites say once they roll over on their own, it’s considered safe. Thank goodness for monitors to watch them breathing. 😁 I really hope this continues, but I’m enjoying the the sleep for now.

Awesome news! @easilyunamused! Sounds like A is doing much better with sleep! They say once they can roll on their own, it’s not a huge worry with tummy sleeping. M rolls everywhere in the crib and sleeps in all different positions so even if I lay her on her back she moves in 2 seconds

He’s probably loving all of the extra room, since the bassinet was getting pretty tight.

Hi guys! *waves* sorry we've been so MIA! U has gotten so big, she sleeps through the night for the most part, rolls all over, doesn't want to crawl, and is spoiled beyond belief. We kinda disappeared for a while because life was crazy and I ended up having to have gallbladder surgery right before Christmas and oh yeah got my period the same day. and mh doesn't get I needed to rest and recuperate so U also has news to share which scares the heck out of me:

@easilyunamused addymac M will only sleep on her tummy now. I always put her down on her back but she just rolls immediately onto her tummy. I was freaking out at first but her pedi has assured me that since she is rolling herself it is ok.

M had her first swim lesson today. It went really well, she loved the water and we had fun.

Wow elliecat17! Welcome back and congrats. That’ll be quite the adventure 😁. MHs cousin has boys that are exactly a year a part and she’s surviving just fine. 😉

@easilyunamused I had a work meeting that it happened at. I was wearing capris and it gushed down my leg. I’ve gotten to the point that I’m less embarrassed by it.

I put R to sleep on her belly. I lay her on her back, she fusses and I just roll her.

A keeps gnawing on his tongue. I’m guessing it has to do with teething, but is anyone else’s baby eating their tongue like that? It weirda me out.

Not that I am wishing bad sleep on everyone but I do feel a bit better that it is not just us. I am sick of people telling me how well their kids slept, I am pretty sure they have faulty memories.

I think once we are on the other side we will be glad all the no sleep, diapers, baby gear happened all at once. Congrats!!!

Guise. I think a fairy replaced my child because he just fell right asleep when I set him down tonight. He fussed for 2 seconds, rolled onto his stomach and passed out. 😱

They smell you like bloodhounds and just want milk 😂

Has anyone else not gotten their period yet? I'm getting apprehensive hearing about some having really heavy ones. I have and it has been extremely heavy. (Sorry) it’s way worse than before. I don’t know why, I assumed it was from hemorrhaging during labor or something. (Not a doctor though) lol

H is a belly sleeper. It’s funny he changes in stages. First 30 minutes on his back, then his side and finally his belly.
@ellicat17 congratulations! And sorry to hear about surgery!

If I missed it sorry, but had any one introduced sippy (training) cups yet?
I just ordered new ones for H. I also have to check with pedi, but had any introduced water? I can’t remember when we did with DS. I know it is suppose to be much..
Also H finally cut his teeth! He seems to be sleep better (fingers crossed). We still haven’t started sleep training yet. I don’t know why I am having a hard time stepping off the ledge.

She has always been a great water drinker so I’m hoping M will be the same.

They say it should be less than 2 ounces a day. And I was very apprehensive starting sleep training, it’s a lot to commit too. But I think I started at the right time and now that we are on the 3rd night, I’m feeling more better about it.
