I basically vomit from the stick turning positive to delivery. There's a couple lulls in there where it's fairly decent, but it mostly sucks from start to finish.

Luckily I had enough warning that I was able to get my plate out so I didn't have to wash it again. I have read this part several times and cannot figure out what this means. I have a partial denture. I had to have several teeth out last summer and they made me a plate to fill in the ones from the front. I've nearly lost it before when vomiting, and it's always a PITA to clean if I don't have enough warning to take it out. |

I thought I had mentioned it before but maybe not =) It's just part of life now, even though it was a big deal before I got it. I actually freaked out a coworker the other day because I was trying to explain something about one of the residents partial dentures and she wasn't getting it and I decided it would be easier to just show her, so I took mine out to try to explain and she literally jumped about a foot off of the floor and was like "I didn't know you had that!!". It was hilarious |

My back hurts so damn bad. My Chiro is going on maternity leave and i got her last appt on Wednesday before she leaves. She has someone covering for her but he is only available on Fridays.

FFMC: despite what all the tv shows and movies imply, as a Bio/Chem major, in an emergency situation I cannot whip up something useful from random industrial cleansers just sitting around.
Maybe I should call my university and demand my money back.

Man, guys, I just woke up from a nap and the strangest dream. We were all helping in a plot to overthrow the government, and everyone involved had taken shelter in a series of caves high in a cliff face, and we were all helping each other give birth when our times came.

I am not drinking enough water but I can't fathom drinking more when my reflux is so bad. And gatorade or any other flavored water type drink doesn't help either.

My BFF gave me her pregnancy back brace to use, and I wore it to work today for the first time. It did help my hips somewhat, but F HATES it. I could feel him down there pushing against it, not just his normal movements. I had it worn right (under my belly) and not too tight, but I'm just assuming that he didn't like something in his space.

I finally got a call back from my doctor and the plan is to keep trucking and recheck my placenta at 36 weeks. It's a marginal previa, but hasn't moved since 20 weeks. I'm glad I have some kind of direction now.

Went by the pharmacy today, and while I was in the store, I decided to check out the clothing section (my grocery store has a clothing section lol). Spotted and picked up a snow suit for F for next winter! Normally $45, on sale for $14. And it's a 2 piece, with overalls and a jacket, so it'll be easy to remove the jacket to put him in the car seat and then just put his jacket back on when we get where we're going.
I also called my doctors office today and found out that my doctor will be taking him on as a patient, so I don't have to worry about finding him a new doctor. I just have to call and make an appointment when I get closer to my due date =)
I feel so accomplished today!

Ordered my new nursery chair, super excited about it. It’s a recliner glider chair so it should be comfy compared to my last chair. And I got a good deal on it too

OB appointment was uneventful this morning. Go back in three weeks for GTT and rhogam, then the following week to the MFM.
DS’s birthday party is Saturday, and I’m woefully unprepared.

OB appointment was uneventful this morning. Go back in three weeks for GTT and rhogam, then the following week to the MFM. DS’s birthday party is Saturday, and I’m woefully unprepared. Pizza & cake party on Saturday? That's what I did for O's second birthday because I knew he'd eat the pizza. It's also the plan for his third party because I'll have a newborn. Plus, he still likes pizza and cake. |

I told her I haven't officially addressed it with the class (my students have moderate to severe disabilities and many have severe anxiety and perseveration issues, so I'm waiting until April), but that it's not really a secret. When I asked why, she said that when a relative asked her son a few weeks ago what his teacher was like, he said "she's fat". |

So I fell on the ice. Again. Yesterday morning as I was heading to my car to go to work. I was a little sore yesterday, but today, HOLY CRAP does it hurt. I must have fallen more on my right hip, because I can barely lift my leg without pain shooting through my hip. It's not a HUGE problem normally, but our staff room at work is downstairs so coming back up the stairs is torture. I also like to sit with my legs crossed Indian style in my chair, and I can't do that right now because I can't lift my leg. Argh, so frustrating!

I ordered the cake and a veggie tray today; my mom and I decided on the rest of the menu and split it up between us. Rented a bounce house for the kids. It’s just family so not a big deal, just a lot of people. |
