jessila I'm so glad I have someone I can commiserate with about a nutrition obsessed hubby lol. I woke up early enough this morning to have coffee at home and it doesn't seem to be bothering me like the coffee at work. We drink almond milk - hubby likes the reduced calories and I'm sensitive to lactose - so I'm wondering if I bring some almond milk for my coffee here if it might help. Something to try anyways. It's super warm here today and I'm sweating so I just had some OJ at snack for now. I got heartburn from mine today. I did put more coffee in than in the last few days though so I guess I'll have to keep it cut back. H isn't as nutrition obsessed as he used to be. Or maybe I just don't pay as much attention to him talking about it as I used to. I'm sure once he starts his spring cut, he'll be talking about it more because low calorie=cranky H. Lol, oh yes, and MH has started doing doubles at the gym so he's super sore and grumpy. He's been harping on me about my protein because I really don't eat much meat, but idk, it's just such a pain to make, and half the time I start eating it and it tastes blah.

I keep telling myself "one more scoop of ice cream". It's not going great.

I keep telling myself "one more scoop of ice cream". It's not going great. Ny lactose sensitivity keeps my ice cream consumption to a minimum thankfully lol. I have a serving (so about 1/2 cup) every couple of nights, when I need a little something something

Okay, I swear F has been moving non stop since 7 this morning. It's now 4 in the afternoon. I think there was only maybe one or 2 half hour stretches today where he settled down. Wtf kid? Lol

We closed on a house today! We’ve got some work to do before we move in, but I’m so excited to know where we’ll be when baby comes!

I keep telling myself "one more scoop of ice cream". It's not going great. My sweet tooth has been very strong the past few weeks. It's only going to get worse when the soft ice cream places open here in mid-late March.

Speedy, I thought of you this morning because my coffee has been giving me heartburn. I started making lattes instead so that might work for you? Eta-plus extra protein from milk. Your H will approve of the extra protein for gains, yo. Switching to lattes has helped ? I have horrible heartburn and I think that coffee is on of my main trigger but I don’t want to have to give it up!!! Lol

I have reflux even when not pregnant and coffee is my worst trigger. Which sucks. Caffeine in general is a trigger for my reflux.

I'm so sorry numbearsCongrats lily A new house is so exciting! I've started a skin routine(I'm turning 30 this year and I felt compelled to start anti-aging stuff) and I've had such wonderful results. My pores are sooo much harder to see now and my face generally looks a lot better. I'm super surprised because I really hadn't been doing anything at all before because my skin isn't bad and I thought it was about as good as it was going to get. I don't think it was any product in particular, just more that it is clean and moisturized. So now I want more! I'm going to try to make a Korean 10 step system. Their anti-aging philosophy (avoiding retinoids and sticking to antioxidants) is perfect for pregnancy too.

My kid is already messing with my emotions. After moving all day yesterday I guess he decided to sleep in and I hadn't felt any movement since early this morning. I was literally laying on a residents bed before lunch in tears trying to get him to move. I decided to go eat lunch and lay down again as soon as I could and if he still wasn't moving then I'd call the hospital. Of course as soon as I laid down he gave me a good few hits...

I have days where she moves a ton then the next day it seems like barely any movement. As long as you’re getting some movement every 2 hours I think all is well

You’re still early enough that movement is very sporadic. It’s always more reassuring to feel movement, but it’s not abnormal to have really quiet periods. It’s good to be aware of, though, and to monitor as you progress.

There are days that for many awake hours, the only movements I get are hiccups until I chill out and lay down to go to bed or sit for more than 5 minutes at a time.

Yeah, this was from 7 am until 1 pm he was still, where yesterday he moved from 7 am until 6 pm straight through. It was just freaking me out a little because where he is I can usually feel if he moves his arms/hands/legs even a little

I know I probably freaked more than I should have, but being a loss mom raises my stress level around this whole thing >.<

I know I probably freaked more than I should have, but being a loss mom raises my stress level around this whole thing >.< I understand the loss mom aspect. But, 20 weeks is still early to be feeling daily movement. Baby is still fairly small & barely weighs anything, plus depending on your placenta location, you could still be weeks from feeling regular movements.

Yeah, and I know logically that if I had called the hospital they probably would have told me similar, but it didn't really help at the time lol

In case anyone was wondering, my placenta is behind baby. He's smooshed right up against the front of my uterus which is why I'm able to feel him so clearly now, and why I've felt movements since just after 12 weeks. Abnormal but not completely unheard of.

Currently sitting at the lab doing my GTT. One test and the drink down. 2 tests to go. Happy Monday to me.
To say the baby is awake is an understatement after drinking that stuff ha ha.

Anyone else just randomly puking every now and again? Every couple of weeks I'll just feel like it's going to happen and sure enough... Had it happen this morning. Luckily I had enough warning that I was able to get my plate out so I didn't have to wash it again.

I never stopped having nausea/vomiting with this one, but with DS I think I had morning sickness the first tri and it came back beginning of the third.

It's just so odd because every time I vomited during my first trimester, there was a reason for it, usually brushing my teeth on an empty stomach. This just comes up completely randomly.

I had a lot of random nausea with V throughout the entire pregnancy. I've been decent since about 22 weeks with this one, though heartburn is starting to contribute to some random vomiting.
Aside from not eating frequently enough (and now the heartburn), I really had no triggers/onsets for my nausea in either pregnancy. It either came out of nowhere, or would be pervasive and underlying throughout the day.
