The bounce house place was a success. One of Colin's best friends was there with her almost 3 year old brother, so they all had a great time. Chase was so tired that he could barely walk in a straight line on the way out, though a ride in the truck cart at the grocery store helped him rebound.
Next we're having leftovers from last night for lunch then Col and I will bake belated birthday cupcakes. I think I'll do taxes during nap, just to really notch up the excitement of an already exciting day. LOL.

I might quit today. No one has been sending emails to pickup devices or asking for approvals for repairs since I left. Plus they put devices that are not ready for pickup in the pickup area. I feel like I'm starting over from when we started doing weekend coverage. I'm just done.

I was just looking ahead at Josie's calendar for pre-school and I saw that her graduation is slated for Wednesday,June 13th at 7pm. Now I know my children go to bed earlier than most people -- they're both completely out before seven -- but does it seem a little late for a group of four year olds?

Morning! We're driving back home today. My sisters want to stop at Bass Pro Shop because we've never been to one. I have less than zero interest in that outing. That seems like a place at the top on the list of "places not to take my animal right activist sister" This hadn't even occurred to me. I thought it was like, fishing poles and camping gear? Do they have stuffed bears or something in there?

My kids go to bed later than most and I still think it’s late!! Esp for families that have younger siblings!

jewels, I think it's nice that parents don't have to take a day off from work (they do their Christmas show at 9 am on a Friday morning and I know that's hard for parents who have older kids who have to get on buses and parents who need to be at work earlier) , but 7pm feels a little extreme for me

Lol... push the golf, push the golf flamingo !!! guster That is pretty late. I would think 6:30 would be better at least. I am jealous of your kids bed time though. Letty goes around 8:15 and I TRY to get the other two down at 8:30 but that doesn't always happen. Pretty much never, lol.

guster that seems absurd! I mean I the idea that parents don’t have to take time of, but if you know this long in advance what wrong with 5?!

We'll do it because Josie can rally, but Charlie won't be able to come, and if we can't get a babysitter, one of us will have to stay home.

My husband left early this morning ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) I am literally racking my brain on how we can quit doing the contracting gig. If we moved to Florida I wouldn't have a problem getting a job there with my current degree since I got it in Florida. So I could work, but I don't know what he would do. He is a paramedic but they make next to nothing and it's a very demanding job- so he's not going to do that again. He didn't complete his college degree. However he's really good at like, everything... anything with his hands. I don't know what kind of opportunity that could bring though. Anyways.... I always hate the day/week he leaves. It sucks.

I’m sorry sands42. What does he do overseas? Maybe he could get a job with a construction company or something. I hope you can find something that will allow him to stay here.

He does close protection. Basically what bodyguards do- but in dangerous places. He is also the medic if an emergency arises. He could definitely get a construction gig- but he will be picky about what he gets paid. He has thought about starting a maintenance business but if he were to do that- where we live now would be best because we have sooo many connections here. I think we both kind of want to move back to Florida though...

This hadn't even occurred to me. I thought it was like, fishing poles and camping gear? Do they have stuffed bears or something in there? They will have taxidermy on display. Probably fish and deer at least. Okay well it was the worst. Stuffed lions, elk, a giraffe, a leopard. They must have thousands of animals in there. Sick.

Letting the boys car nap before meeting Kelly and her boys at the train place. I made breakfast this morning and worked out. I'm so damn excited about the house, I just keep randomly yelling "3 weeks!" And dh rolls his eyes lol. Hoping to make those cookies when we get home. Also need to do the boys Valentine's for the sitters.

I hadn't thought about it. I have no problem with like La Brea Tarpits or dinosaur bones but I would assume they kill perfectly healthy animals for those diorama type displays? I don't know, guess I'll have to call and find out.

cagoldi at a museum in the Midwest I visited years ago they said some of their animals are not even taxidermy but replicas. So there is a slight chance it would be okay.
