I'm here. I'm at work, 15 minutes late. I need to get up earlier now that my morning entails getting both boys on the potty and in underwear. I need to just dress them in the morning since I'm already doing the bottom half. Matthew has woke up dry every night since we started potty training. I think I will try underwear tonight.
ETA: the title is because it's supposed to rain here all day. But it hasn't started yet. I really hope it skips us. I need things to dry up!

Morning and happy February! Both kids slept past 7 so that was a nice surprise. I need to do some deep cleaning today; I keep catching whiffs of doggie odor and now I'm freaking out. The lab spends a lot of time outdoors normally but has been in more than usual lately b/c of the weather. We are supposed to be going to our friends' this afternoon for a beach walk. Maybe I'm a scrooge, but the beach lost its novelty a long time ago, and it DEFINITELY lost its novelty when it's only 60 degrees out. Obviously that is warmer than it has been, but still not beach weather IMO. I need to work up some enthusiasm for this, I guess

Good morning! I'm feeling good and tempted to start BBM since Feb 1 was my planned start date but I don't want to set back my recovery. C slept 11-4 but then grunted the entire rest of the morning. He's now sleeping soundly but I don't feel like laying back down. I need to organize my room because my new furniture is coming Saturday.

Morning! S woke up at 6 ready to party. She then woke up H. DH found out he didn’t need to be at work till later than normal so I got to sleep in a bit. I don’t know why S is so full of energy, but I’d like some of that.

I will live vicariously through you, so please post pics. I want to re-do ours so badly (we still have my H's bachelor furniture, which was fine--and at least a king-sized bed--but so not my style) but I want to wait until we're in a long-term home so I can see what I truly have room for, and so anything we buy won't be banged up in future moves. I would love a 4-poster bed.

Hi, all. I hope you're well. After our loss last week, the whole family took a step back from our online connections just to focus on each other. It's been good. I'm definitely in a better place.
But I so appreciated the love and support from you ladies. It meant a lot and was such a help in the moment.

Speaking of furniture being damaged in a move, I cannot get anyone at the furniture repair place to call me back with an update on my dining chair and china cabinet that they have and are supposed to be repairing. They're a well-respected operation here in town but this is not inspiring confidence.

Morning!
I've been taking Thursdays as my rest day and sleeping in, trying to catch up on the sleep I'm not getting the rest of the week. But Chase started screaming for a couple minutes at a time sometime around 3/3:30 and I swear he could sense when we were falling back to sleep, because he'd start back up. Then for whatever reason, DH got up and started working around 5:30 for about half an hour, then came back to bed just as my alarm was going off. I was legit having dreams that the boys were all sneaking into Chase's crib in the middle of the night to conspire against me. I also woke up to find my post nasal drip back with a vengeance, so it's taking a lot of effort to maintain a pleasant front at work. Fortunately I don't have much to do but work on documentation but I may block my calendar just to be sure no one tries to interact with me. LOL.
At least Colin woke up dry so there was no pee-soaked sheets or clothes for me to deal with this morning.

I'm happy the building process for my house will be super fast. DH is already driving me nuts now that we have a closing. He forgets conversations we have with each other and with the builder and starts complaining about things that are non issues just because his memory/listening skills are lacking.

It's such a hard place to be in and makes everything else seem - IDK the word - unimportant? Thats not right but it's hard to put a word to those emotions and feelings.

M woke me up at 5:30. I went to bed at 12. Not delightful at all.
She’s already asked me a gazillion times to go back to Disneyland.

Hi everyone. I signed B up for an art class, which starts today. It’s going to be tight trying to get them both from DC, dropping C off at home and then getting her to the class. But I’m hoping she likes it!
We are also having cake at work to celebrate my boss’ bday, so I’m looking forward to that.

C will be 2 so I think she'll be able to enjoy it somewhat, recognize the characters, etc., and I know B will love it.

Morning! Nothing going on here-- dance and school in a less than an house. Charlie's napping now. He's still fighting something -- keeping food and drink down, but a super runny nose and really ruddy cheeks. No fever.

I gave Cadence some allergy medicine last night. She woke up this morning requesting more.... S cried this morning b/c I wouldn't give him pepto. A few weeks ago he had diarrhea and I gave him some. Ever since then he keeps asking for it, but only when he sees it in the bathroom. I really need to just hide it b/c this is getting ridiculous!

We had our first automatic flush toilet since potty training. Matthew yelled out "HEY! Why did that just do that? Who pushed the button? Why is it scary?"

B has had a bit of an upset tummy and has the worst diaper rash b/c of it. Yesterday at DC they said it was bleeding, and he didn't want to move around (I guess cuz it hurt?) I feel so bad for him! I've been trying to give him probiotics to help with it and feed him bland food, but kid loves to it so it's hard!

Morning.
So, this may be a weird question, but I don’t remember having this after the boys. I feel like I can’t regulate my temperature right now, especially overnight. Like I’m either freezing so I bundle under the covers, and the I wake up sweating. Is this a pp thing???
So, yesterday I ran out to the library and left C home with dh. While I was out I noticed our tire light was on and I could here air leaking out, so I drove to discount tire. Well, they were going to be an hour and a half wait, which I couldn’t do since I didn’t have C. So I drive home and dh changed it to the spare so we could drop the tire off today. Today the spare it flat too. 😒

I remember it went on for a while, not months, but definitely more than a few days. Sorry for the flat tire.

We had our first automatic flush toilet since potty training. Matthew yelled out "HEY! Why did that just do that? Who pushed the button? Why is it scary?" Heads up: you might want to cover the sensor on them with your hand (don't actually touch it, just hover in front of it). Cadence is apparently too small for some of them and they flush while she is still going. She wants to stop and leave immediately when that happens.

Cadence took her band-aid book to school this morning. It's a super cute book with removable band-aids that you put on various animals boo-boos. I watched this morning as the kids circled around her and she was showing them. She was making them raise their hand for a chance to put a ban-aid on a page. My kid is going to be the boss of something one day. LOL
